His claws came loose and he fell a short distance, though he safely teleported himself to the ground, blue smoke hiding the shy frown on his face for a moment, he wasn't too keen on being watched, he assumed that being judged also came along with it. Since he ran from the circus, he was done being judged.
However, the words that reached him were nothing but kind, and the worried downward curve of the boy's mouth teased upwards, first smiling at Barry. "It's nothing, really!" The german accent rang true as Kurt shook his head bashfully, the smile only growing, "Teach you? I would not want you to fall!" It was true, Nightcrawler would worry endlessly, if someone fell while under his watch he would feel guilty for weeks, months even.
Turning next to Tama, Kurt felt his smile only grow brighter, tilting his head comically at the compliment, "thank you!" He said, his expression softening when he heard the leader tell him to be careful, it meant a lot that another was looking out for his safety. "I promise I will be careful." He vowed, placing a paw over his heart. In a sudden burst of confidence, possibly brought on by Tama's contagious smile, a sly grin replaced his usual smile, "but you know, The Incredible Nightcrawler never falls! That's what they called me!" He swept his paw into the air, a display of comedy and confidence in hopes to get a few laughs.
Next, Comiccub, one whom Kurt was not yet introduced. "Sidekick?" The blue tom inquired, demon tail twitching curiously, "what kind of sidekick?" He was back to his child-like state of nervousness, fixing Comiccub with a gaze of admiration, surely someone who needed a sidekick was the kind of person Nightcrawler wanted to be around. "O-Oh! I'm Kurt Wagner, or Nightcrawler," he offered, paired with a small smile.[/fancypost]
