Bella shook her head. "We can trust him," she assured Konan, a reassuring smile on her face. Bella basically trusted everyone she met, and she thought the magnificent white deer was the gift they had been waiting for. She was excited, to say the least. All she wanted was to be safe with her herd. She pictured the place that Hart claimed he would take them to. There were crystalline, flowing rivers and green grass. They had to trust him, because they would die if they stayed here.

The doe smiled as Konan agreed. "Yes," her soft and sweet voice agreed as she flicked her tail enthusiastically. So far, Bella's life had been a bore—and finally, something exciting was going to happen! She breathed in the scents of the place that had been her home since her fawnhood. A pang of sadness shot through her, but they couldn't stay here. They just couldn't. She shook vigorously, ridding herself of the pile of cold snow that had fallen onto her soft gray pelt. She couldn't wait for Hart to arrive.

I know how it feels. Having lost my dog a week ago to cancer, I was a mess because we had to put him down as he was riddled with it. It's a very very hard feeling at first, and it does feel like an empty void. Perhaps try to appreciate the pets you will have at the time, as one day they will be gone too.

Written description: Snowkit is a gracefully-built, small she-cat. Her limbs and tail are long, giving her a willowy, graceful appearance. She's quite skinny with small, dainty paws and average-sized ears. Her paw pads, nose and the insides of her ears are a milky pink. She has heterochromia, which causes her eyes to be two different colors, like both of her parents. Her left eye is green and the other is blue, the opposite of her mother's. Her whiskers are medium-length and white. Her gums and tongue are pink, the same as her paw pads, nose and insides of her ears.
Personality: Snowkit is a very gentle, caring and sensitive she-cat. She loves kits and wants to be a mother someday. She can sometimes be quite anxious, but not to the point where it stops her from getting on with everyday life. She's always friendly towards others and is understanding. When others are rude or mean to her, she can be quite sensitive and not know how to react. She's very logical and intelligent, always easily coming up with a plan. She's very sensible and always tries her very best to live by the sacred rules of the warrior code.

A lot of the time it's evident if something is wrong with an animal just by looking at them. Sometimes, vets don't detect the really bad stuff in a regular checkup. Our dog had tumors throughout his liver and spleen when he went for his regular checkup, and the vet said he was fine, but he passed away from the cancer only three days later. Just maybe check on them regularly and feel for any abnormal lumps or anything perhaps. Sorry, that's the best advice I can offer you, but maybe do some research on the health of cats so if they display signs of sickness, you'll know it and you can take them to the vet.
