The moon was the first thing he'd noticed when he woke up-- That it was still there. His first thought was, "Oh, I must've woken up in the middle of the night." That was, until he rolled over and saw his clock. Upon realising it was well into day-time, he left his house and stared up towards the sky, furrowing his eyebrows. "Sansārakō anta.." He'd whisper to himself, worryingly. As he looked back down, he'd notice Rukia was holding a meeting. "I-I'll visit SolsticeClan." Magnus would mutter as he joined his clanmates.

    [justify][fancypost bgcolor=transparent; borderwidth=0px; bordercolor=transparent; width: 365px;]Huddled up in the warmth of a winter jacket, Magnus sat at the edge of the almost-frozen ocean and gazed his dark, glossy eyes over the orange moon. Sighing, he'd push himself up and give one last look at the dreaded powdered rock before moving on. Slowly making his way towards town, he observed the food he'd collected today; about a handful of soggy berries and a frozen fish he'd manage to catch after breaking the ice at a lake. This wasn't enough to feed his kids. He closed his eyes and imagined the sad faces of them once he shows them the terrible catch-of-the-day. No. He wasn't planning on eating any of this for himself. In fact, he hadn't eaten for several days. He'd been spending all his time hunting, but only to give the food to someone else. The orange moon that came and froze everything in it's wake meant disaster. But he also hadn't eaten for days previous to the occurrence. That's a week of eating, what, a few berries a day? And then another few days of simply nothing? Needless to say, he was weak. Weaker than he thought. In fact.. as he was striding in a zig-zag order towards camp, he felt his knees buckle beneath him as he collapsed. His eyes lulled into the back of his head and he dropped, spilling his "hunt" for the day.


    { really badly written bbbbut there's an anorexia / bulimia trigger warning for this thread. i'm not romanticising anything, i'm simply implicating this into magnus' storyline because he is heavily based upon myself, and this has, indeed happened to me before. }

With a crutch under one arm, he stood bipedal as he watched the snow linger down towards earth, almost omnipotent with thoughts. There was no longer the crunch of fall leaves littering beige-lit streets, but now a cold wasteland of snowfall and hail. As he hauled his body down onto a step to take a closer look at the sky, his foot slid from underneath himself, sliding across a frosted surface. "V-Vāha!" He'd yell as his body stuttered from underneath him, landing chin-first on the ground, not to mention his crutch hit him hard as it fell on top of him.

    Magnus trottered his way down the border, climbing mountain scapes and holding an electronic flashlight in his mouth as he levitated his herb basket above him. Less sunlight, for him, meant more work. He had to gather twice as many herbs, due to the fact that most of them were withered or covered in a thick layer of frost. Pouting, he'd make his way towards a familiar figure. It took his bad eyesight a while to make out who it was, but he'd soon realise it was Noelani, and, a wide smile cracking on his face, he'd approach. "Hey, Noels. What are you doing out here?"

    Magnus would offer a kind but confused smile. What.. happened to her home? However, not wanting to pry, he wouldn't verbalise his thoughts. He opened his mouth to talk, but then eyed her face, noticing her sudden bleeding. His fur spiked as he rushed towards her without saying a word. "Oh my stars, you're bleeding!" He'd furrow his nonexistent brows in worry, levitating his pack down towards him. He'd attempt to pull a cloth out his bag before realising it was already covered in blood from a previous event, before pulling out another. As he attempted to treat her bleeding nose, he'd smile at her question. "St-Stressed, I suppose. Everyone's.. depending on me. So many sick, so many injured.. I was never trained properly for such chaos. I need help, but.. I'm not ready for it." He'd pause, look Noels directly in the eyes, and then turned away, an invisible redness crossing his face. "I'm sorry. I-- I don't know why I vented just then."
