She was about to fire back about him being topless but thought better of it and instead gave a small smile in return. Sasha could tell there had to be more to the charm than he let on, but when she was going to ask he changed the subject with a simple question. "I don't know what it is. I never bothered to google it to find out. I do like Turtles and Ravens though." Sasha spoke happily. "I like turtles because I think they are cute and i like Ravens because they big black birds, and not many like them. What about you? What is your spirit animal, Ricky?" She asked lightly.

No spirit? She went to ask what he meant but he had changed the subject once more. She pursed her lips as he did and made a mental note to ask later when the time was right. "I have two brothers. A Twin, actually. Along with an older brother. The eldest, Joey, we buried him a few years ago. My twin brother, Lucas, and I don't speak much." She looked down at her feet as she felt the tears prick her eyes. She took a breath as she thought about why her and her twin no longer spoke, and quickly used her wrist to angrily wipe her eyes dry. Her pride stood between her apologizing for the harsh words. Her family was torn between her and her brother, and as he currently had a family their parents lived closer to him. "What about you? Any other siblings other than your Crack Head brother?" She gave a small smile to Ricky as she redirected the conversation about him.

Upon her jest Joshua let off a light laugh, "I like to think I haven't run it into the ground just yet! And it's only the firm. I haven't inherited the house yet, although I am suppose to inherit it after Father passes or I find a wife." He let off a chuckle at the idea of himself finding a wife. His father was currently working on a betrothal with another well of family. He frankly didn't see himself ever finding a wife, for the fact that he partly thought he would have died by now from he and Aaron's misadventures as children before Natalie came over to the Colonies. In a way she 'tamed' the two wild children, but not fully. He agreed to a point, and nodded to show he understood. He had been to several over the last year as those around their age were being married off or having children. "I can't imagine what the planning could be for. Don't you just buy the dress, invite the guests, and schedule it at the Church?" He really didn't understand what all the planning for, as he had never had a wedding, nor was in one. "Don't you think planning your own would be more entertaining than planning someone else's?" He asked, slightly confused. Didn't all women want to be married? Or was he just confused?
Joshua watched her look around the room uneasily, and decided he should probably change the subject from weddings to something else, "I'm surprised you aren't joining Aaron, trying to wield a Musket. You always did try to learn as a kid. I think when Aaron and I finally agreed to teach you, you even were a better shot than us." He laughed, he was a horrible shot with a gun. A sword he could handle and was actually decently skilled with. But a gun? He would be dead if it came to it. For one he hadn't practiced in ages, and two even then he could hit his target, but it was not always in the ideal place.
His stormy grey-blue eyes kept an eye on her, watching her hesitation and clearly anxious movement of looking around the room. "You alright, Natalie? You seem off." He said, "Do you need a drink?" He offered as he got to his feet to go and get someone who could bring her something to drink. He couldn't tell why she seemed nervous around him, but he did want to know.

If I told you all the stupid things I've done
I've blamed on being young
But I was old enough to know I know
If I told you the mess that I can be
When there's no one there to see
Could you look the other way?Adeline Lane stood quietly where she was, shifting in her place. She stood watching, half listening and half not. As she wrote down what she needed. The young woman looked to her little girl, a four year old, who had her hair and her blue eyes, but the face was his. How their daughter acted was him. Everything else about their daughter, was him. She closed her eyes as she got herself ready to go out. Adeline had a small frame dirty blonde hair and bright blue eyes. She stood about 5'6", and was twenty four years old. Her eyes opened as she looked at the young child once more. She knew him for most of her life. That was how she ended up in this. She was young and naïve, and he had been so charming that night.
It was the next month he left. She looked around their small two bedroom apartment. She remembered begging him not to go, but when they got into the screaming match, she never brought it up. They made up that night, but she saw him off the next morning as tears streaming down her face for not telling him when she had the chance. He sent letters. She broke it to him when she got the ultrasound pictures. She had one printed that she could send him. She hadn't heard much since that letter. The occasional letter came back and she tried to send pictures of their daughter to him. But hardly a letter ever returned. Yet today.... they were picking him up from the airport.
The car ride there Adeline told their daughter, Eleanor, that they were going to pick up her daddy. The four year old was excited to finally meet him, and not see just pictures. Adeline pulled to a stop in the airport parking lot and then moved to get Eleanor from the backseat. The two slowly made their way to where they could pick him up and Adeline stood quietly, scanning every passenger that came through the doors. Looking for him. Maybe it was the wrong flight? They waited another hour and then finally it seemed the flight he was on had landed. Her blue eyes spotted him before he clearly spotted her. He looked tired and worn, but approached her and Eleanor. She watched as he dropped the duffle bag and the pulled her into a tight embrace, her knees melt away as she melted into him. Tears streaming down her face as she clung onto him like he was her lifeline.
She felt him pull away after several long minutes that felt like hours for her. She watched as the man she loved dropped to one knee, looking at their daughter. She watched as Eleanor's small hand reached out to touch the face of the man as a toothy smile spread over the small girl's features. She watched as he did the same before the small child threw her arms around his neck in a happy giggle. Adeline couldn't hold the tears as more came, and felt him pull her into a hug with Eleanor in his arms.
Plot: Okay so: your charrie is just back from 1 tour (4 years) in any branch of the American Military. My charrie, as explained above, did not tell him before he left that she was pregnant. She broke it to him over a letter. Why he stopped responding is up to you. Your Charrie can struggle with all kinds of things, whatever you choose, and mine is trying to help him readjust into society and into a family that he missed four years of. To join just post a picture, name, and age (try to keep it close to Adeline's age) and then jump in. All I ask is that you can write 4+ paragraphs... or a BARE Minimum of 2 paragraphs (8 sentences) per post and try to be as active as you can and don't kiss and diss. If you wish to leave please let me know, I don't bite.

"I'm sorry about your brother." She managed out before he quickly changed the subject once more to dinner and walked out of the room. Sasha scrambled after him, falling in step alongside him. "What do you mean the cure was not around then when your brother was sick?" She asked, confused. "The Flu's cure has been around for I think a hundred years." She said, but then again she could be off in her history. Something was found a hundred years ago but as to what she had no idea. "What is for dinner?" She asked as her stomach grumbled angrily that it was hungry. "I'm starving." She added with a grin. Sasha had more questions for him, but thought better than to ask now. She remained quiet at the moment, listening to his words but was distracted as a servant scurried passed them in a hurry.

Ellie paced. Back and Forth. Back and Forth as she waited for the stupid little plastic test to give her an answer. Back and Forth. Back and Forth. Her lovely period was late by three days, which hardly ever happened, and considering she and Gus had recently been together she was jumping to conclusions. Eleanor could have made a trench in the hard wood that was how much pacing she was doing when the little timer went off and she looked at the test. Positive. Just like the last two she had taken just to be sure. She took a deep breath and stuffed the three pregnancy tests into a drawer for now, but then thought better of it and took one. Placing it in a baggy and then shoving it in her handbag-backpack.
What should she tell him? Should she say anything? She had no idea. She glanced at the clock before putting her shoes on and heading down to the lobby to meet Gus, making sure to carry her bag with her on her one shoulder. It was a 'mini' backpack so rather small and could really only hold the bare necessities that one would need. Just enough for what Ellie used it for. She was quiet on the car ride over as he drove the 'Old Lady' to Cookies and Ice Cream. She loved that place, and she snapped back to reality as he spoke after the car was stopped.
Well, now would be the perfect time to tell him, and Ellie opened her mouth. But found no words came, and instead she closed her mouth once more. She watched him for a minute before shrugging, "I dunno, I've just been really.... stressed and busy lately." She said, which wasn't the full truth. She had been busy with school work with two ten page essays to write in the last two weeks, but at the same time it was nothing that Ellie couldn't handle. She hesitated wanting to tell him but too scared of his reaction. What if he wanted nothing to do with her? What if he said she was lying? She wsn't sure how she would take either of those. Her anxiety was getting the better of her and forcing her to not bring it up with him.
It took her, what felt like hours to her but only a few minutes in reality, to watch him and convince herself that she had to at least tell him. Right? He had a right to know. Right? She wasn't sure. Finally she mumbled out, "I took a few tests this morning.... they all came back positive." She hesitated now, looking down at her hands as she picked and twisted at the spare hair-tie she kept around her wrist for her anxiety. "I'm pregnant." She didn't look up at him now.

Awesome!! Can't wait to RP with you!!

Alright :) Perhaps we could do a plot where he tries to challenge the Alphas eventually? Of course @~Dusty~ would also have to agree to the plot as Todd is her charrie.
-
Tuck watched the Shetland Sheepdog, who he had told the night prior to come back in the morning when the Alphas were up. is large black frame, kept an eye on her, but could already tell she wasn't much of a threat. If anything the fae seemed nervous, shy, and submissive as she approached Todd.
Maya's ears perked as she heard a new voice, but waited from Francis' answer.

Sasha followed him into the room and when he asked how long she shrugged, "Just until I find an open apartment. Why? Missing me already?" She teased before jumping slightly at his call to the Chef. She hadn't expected him to get so loud so quickly. Her eyes were wide as she watched the servants carry dishes and set the table before them. She had never seen that before, and she could smell whatever was cooking and her stomach rumbled again as it smelled wonderful. Sasha was, however, oblivious to the worried looks the servants gave Ricky. She smiled sheepishly and sat down in the chair with a soft, "Thank you." That was a first. Her ex never did that. Those before him never did as well. It was a 'lost art' to being a gentleman now adays and so his gesture was sweet and surprising as she really only ever saw her father do it or the men in movies.

//It's alright. Hope school is going well. Glad I chose to drop from college, so much less stress XD plus it wasn't for me :) //
Sasha watched him and a small sheepish smile formed on her features, "Thank you. Well, I'm sure as long as you give them a call sometime today, they won't mind. They, along with everyone, thought you weren't getting home here until at least noon or 1:30." Sasha told him, before leaning lightly into his touch as he tucked a strand of hair behind her ear. She didn't realize how much she had missed him. She nodded as he spoke about how he was tired and needed a shower before asking to talk tonight. "Sure." She smiled. She caught his gaze moving back to her leg before he went to his bag.
The brunette moved on the couch lightly, to grab her book off the coffee table when he ended up coming back. He brought her something? Her eyes lit up as she looked at the brown bag. His tone was monotone though, and she wasn't sure why. Most times he was like a little kid bouncing around until she opened the gift. Or that was before he went off in the Military. She gently took the bag and opened it, pulling out the beautiful necklace. Her big toothy grin returned as she looked up at him. It was beautiful. "Where did you-" She started before shaking her head, the grin never leaving her face, "How did you get this?" She asked, her fingers running over the blue stone as she was completely mesmerized by it.
"It's beautiful, Claude." She grinned and moved to put it on. Her fingers fumbling briefly with the clasp as she snapped it closed around her neck. She looked at the pendant and gently played with it where it sat on her chest before looking up at him and getting to her feet so she could reach up and kiss him. She loved blues, a dark blue was her favorite, but any blue she loved and her eyes glittered as she looked up at him as her nose scrunched slightly in her toothy grin, a habit her parents had tried to get her to stop doing since she was little as her eyes often scrunched as well. She couldn't help but plant another kiss on his lips before slowly pulling back from him.
"You know... I don't have anything to give you." She said quietly, feeling bad she didn't have anything to give him. She hadn't expected him to come home with something. As much as he spoiled her, she did try to get him his favorite candies, cookies, or a even a new team jersey or hat to try to keep the score even. Even though she tried, she never seemed to keep up. Despite that, she loved him anyway. "I was going to stop at that sub shop in town and treat you to lunch. The one you love a lot, on the way home from the airport. But .... looks like you are already here so maybe tomorrow we could do a lunch date?" She had taken today and the following days off the second she found out so she could spend a day and a half with him once he was home. She looked hopeful up at him that he would accept her offer of a lunch date tomorrow.

Kane can pick his mate, and she would become Delta female :) same with the Betas
Only times Alphas would step in mate-wise is if there is a fight between two dogs. An alpha would supervise the fight, where they cannot kill each other, until a winner is declared by the Alpha. Winner wins the dog they were fighting over.
