// Just a funny thought! We need some comedy in this thread! But not forced. lol

Before Eli could fall asleep in the water, she woke herself up. Now she sat in the water and hugged her bare knees with one arm and resting the other hand over her chin in thought. "What should I return?" She wondered out loud. The girl didn't bother to whisper, nor yell, just an average-pitched voice and the regular volume which you would have in a conversation. Then the thought popped in her mind.... She knew what to give.

Already, she aroused from the stream, water dripping off her and streaking down her legs. Eli bent down by her backpack and began to put her back to the forest and get dressed. It took a while before she could put her tanktop back on and dug to find her jeans again.

// Good choice Hideaki. Testing if you were perverted. XD

Eli, perfectly dressed now, picked up her bag and threw her shades on her head. Her silky, white-blonde hair twisted rhythmically with the short breezes. It seemed messy, but the edges were beautifully soft. A few strands of hair drifted in front of her eye and she blinked but didn't bother to trace it back behind her ear. She stretched out again and an uncontrollable yawn escaped. Her narrow eyes of green-blue only stared at what was beyond her; trees.

Then, she was reminded of her survival skills. Hunting! Fun! Even if her guns weren't specialized for animals, she would just take out her sniper. Already taking it out, she hid behind a large, tan boulder and sat with her back against it. After a good 15 minutes or so, a scurrying of leaves echoed in her ears. Eli was already up and peered from the rock. A deer. Funny, she hasn't seen many recently... But as beautiful as it was, it wasn't going to survive the zombies that came around here and there. She wondered how it was still alive... It needed to be in better use. That's why the trigger was pulled.

"Wait," She wondered aloud, as if killing such a creature didn't bother her. Well of course it did, she was personally devastated... But she wouldn't show it. The odd girl hated the sound of it thumping to the ground and the crackling of leaves into silence. Her eyes clouded with emotion, but it wasn't just for her. But it didn't bring her to tears. Unlike if another human body fell instead, then she would be eternally crying. But snapped out of the thought for only a moment. "How do I bring it back?" A few minutes passed as she sat next to the limp prey. "DAMMIT!" She screamed the curse, hating herself. If anyone was watching, they sure knew the girl was foolish. But Eli was still young, not specifically old enough to remember to think before she acted. How was she supposed to carry the deer back? Did she kill it for no reason? Now to take another hour to think it through and throw bad ideas away like what you would do with paper balls into a trashcan.

She spit out her tongue with immaturity and a little bummed out. "Ya think I don't know that? I killed it so I wouldn't be killed." She shot back without turning to him. Eli wasn't startled at all. But she stood up and stared down at it. "What's up with you?" She questioned. Though it wasn't a voice of frustration, it was almost teasing. "Finally. You show your face. Where have you been?" The girl turned back to look up and face him. "Just cowering in the shadows as if you're really cool?" A half-smirk twisted on her face. Then, in thought, her fingers lightly brushed her chin and her gleaming eyes squinted with an idea. Her mood changed so easily... A person to use up for only a moment to carry the deer back.. It might still be tricky, but better than Elianna herself.

"Right. Killing four zombies. Congratulations. But it would be better and easier if you aimed for the big guy?" She grinned a little after the words rolled off her tongue. No impression was made, she just reacted how she usually would to anyone. Eli didn't freak out so easily. She quirked an eyebrow upward above her glistening, teal eyes. "And you admit you were hiding? They're gonna find you anyway, sooner or later." A small chuckle flowed with her teasing voice. "Oh, by the way..." She began with a curious tone. "Who wheres leather jackets nowadays?" Even at times like zombie invasion crap, no one went back 1950's.. Why did his fashion bother her at a moment like this? Oh well, too late now that the words slipped out.

//I almost typed T-Shit. Just letting you know

"Oh, you're welcome." A little chuckle mixed with her voice. "And I wear a sweatshirt with it. It's not like I had a few hours to spare and pack up to leave. What's the difference between a tanktop and another T-Shirt? They're both casual and neither of them are bulletproof." She wondered out loud, beckoning her hand to his shirt. They both just had to wear torn jeans and boots. "I'd say you got away with almost stealing my outfit, but you just had to mock me with that jacket." Eli wasn't exactly fond of whoever this guy was, but she didn't show it. Instead, her hand was wrapped over the knife in the rim of her pants. Maybe because of the stranger, but more leaning towards an unexpected walking corpse.

"Wow. Okay, you might be older than me. But you don't even know my age?" The query stuck in her mind was able to escape her mouth. Eli didn't even bother to watch him beat the zombie down, the action has been repeated too many times to even care about it. To her, it wasn't impressing. Not what she did or saw everyday. "In fact, you know nothing about me." Her voice was dark, but she kept the smirk knitted tightly on her face and gleaming, squinted eyes. The 'sweatheart' didn't affect her, she was used to boys trying to talk to her and then realizing what kind of person she was.

Leaves crackled behind her and the girl twisted around to shove a knife into a head of rotten flesh and a delicate skull. Already, the zombie was on the ground, and limp. She scooped down to get the knife and turned back around to him. "And I wouldn't 'sweetheart' me. I don't exactly have the 'sweetest heart'." She shot back with a half-grin, landing her hand on her hip. She would probably wait until the male was a little more settle and see if she could use him to help her carry the deer back to the house.

She only shook her head in response with a quiet snicker that hid under her breath. "'Around me long enough'? Were you stalking me?" Eli tilted her head to the other side with a widening grin and a mischievous glint in her green-blue eyes. "Or was it just the casual 'spying on strangers until I'm caught' thing?" She could punch this guy in the face so hard, but kept her cool. The girl only made a 'hmph' sound and blinked away. She plopped onto the ground, debris flying, and rested her face on her fist. She stared at the deer in thought. Maybe until he at least offered to help her take it back. But he didn't seem to have any manners so far. So the thought barely crossed her mind.

But her eyes popped open and leapt back to her feet. She spotted the stranger nearby, shooting down a zombie. Her eyes blinked in confusion. "Can we help you, stalker?" Once again, she brought up the action of stalking. But her smile faded with an expression of a baffled feeling. Eli took hold on the knife hiding in the rim of her torn jeans.

Something about the stranger caught her attention. "What's your name?" It wasn't interest, but the unknown male seemed familiar. Either if he reminded her of someone else, or was that someone else. She didn't bother to answer the question of worry. Her voice was hoarse, as if it was filled with fear, but it was actually frustration. He seemed so recognizable... Why?

She didn't bother going deeper in the questions. Haruki wouldn't remember her. None of her friends did. "Never mind." She threw her hand out, flicking her fingers as if shooing away a fly. "I'm Eli." Her cooled smirk returned. The girl shoved the thought away. She remembered she never got the other male's name. "That reminds me," She muttered between grinning, white teeth. "What is your name?" Her partially english accented voice spoke aloud with a higher pitch of curiosity near the end of the question. For almost the third time, Eli's attitude changed so quickly. Odd.

"I don't live here. I'm only visiting." She shot back. Eli almost laughed at his attempt to 'stay cool' by leaning on a tree. But covered her mouth with her hands just in time. The girl pointed one of her shotguns towards Hideaki, seeming as if she was aiming for him. But she shot a random, yet expected, walking corpse that emerged next to him. Already, the gun was back in her pocket right as the zombie plopped to the ground. She turned back to the other male, reaching out her hand. "Nice to meet you." She breathed with a mischievous gleam hinted in her turquoise eyes.

This time, she let out a low chuckle. "Are you serious? Yes, you were directing the sentence to him, but you generally included that a lot of people lived in this area." Was he stupid? Well, she might have had an equal amount of smarts. "And you're saying you needed a warning that there was a zombie right next to you, aren't you supposed to be aware of them 24/7? I might have saved you right there. Remember, you're the one that said 'kill or be killed'." She breathed then aimed the gun to his head teasingly from the distance. "Oh, but I suppose I should've gotten both of you." Eli laughed then dropped her gun after a few moments.

Her gleaming, teal eyes shot back to Haruki with a smirk on her face. "How long have you been here anyway?" Her voice was full of curiosity and interest.

"Well. I apologize, Hideaki, that the walking corpse was emerging right next to your face. So you should have expected a bullet whisking past your face if you were actually aware of the zombie." She replied with a sharp voice slipping past her lips. On one side of her, strands of white-blonde fell over her face and hiding one of her eyes, on the other side she tucked a few more strands of hair behind her ear. Her long, soft hair that twisted at it's almost white ends almost seemed to glow along with the rays of sun that set the clearing on fire. Then once again, she turned to the other male. "So, Haruki, do you mind assisting me with carrying this deer back?" She wondered aloud, hoping someone would lend a hand. So far, Haruki seemed nicer than Hideaki.

"Thanks!" Her smile widened. "It's only about 20 minutes now. Can you take it?" Eli teased, holding up the other edge of the deer from behind him, hopefully making it a lighter weight for the boy.

But the next words that escaped his mouth... Now that made her fists tighten. But a stressed grin of false happiness knitted tightly on her face. She let out a snicker and smacked her hand against Haruki's face. She knew nothing about the other male, other than his name and his terrible attitude. Hopefully, that slap was a good enough answer for him that they were nowhere close. And only met moments before. But she cooled down and stepped back.

Before she can tighten her fists again and throw them into his face, she turned back with a piercing, green-blue glare. But even if a half-grin spread across her face again, the threatening gaze remained. "Now, are you saying that you couldn't take carrying the half of the deer's weight for 20 minutes? He seems fine with it." She shot back. "Besides. There was no one else I could ask. Unless you'd like to help out?" A hint of mischief glinted in her gleaming, squinting eyes.

She ignored the 'dating' thing, and shoved it away as if it never happened. It's not like it would ever happened. Most likely, it would be because it would only be a distraction to the world around her and to what she's really after. "I don't intend on 'going out' with anyone. Relationships are distractions." She muttered her remark, half to herself, half to the other two.

//anyone offended by her cursing? just let me know if so ;)

Eli, too, crossed her arms and rolled her eyes. Her gaze drifted off to the floor sideways in thought then stared back down to the male. "Fine. I apologize. Will you please help out?" She managed to get out. The young female didn't actually regret it or felt sorry. He mostly deserved it for asking such a question and without thinking before acting. But she needed someone to help out. She would drag the deer, but it would take too long and she already used up her solitary moments of the day. But her frown turned into a sweet, pretty smile when she apologized with fake sorries. Her turquoise eyes gleamed and tears saturated them as the color glowed intensely into begging expression. Her crossed arms fell down into where her hands held together. She shifted her feet into a way where she looked pigeon-toed. "Besides, I need company without a jackass." 'Jackass' directing to the boy behind them. Yeah, she personally wasn't afraid to pull the trigger when she targeted him with her shotgun.

This time. She let it slide. She ignored what he said and picked up the other side of the deer. But before she could she just took a step back. "Never mind. Just drop it." Her voice changed. It was more hoarse. As the deer fell to the ground, Eli stood back a few steps. She walked over to the boulder from before and took out her bag. She set it on the large rock and opened it, digging for something... "Kumiko will probably find it, or Blake." Everything about her changed in a split second. She felt self-hate impale her heart. She could feel the dislikable stares on her and it made her dislike herself.

But it wasn't just that. A sick feeling twisted in her stomach... "Doesn't matter. I need to go." She zipped her bag back up and threw it over one shoulder. Panic crackled up her spine and her teeth clenched together. "I'm not allowed to stay." She let out before trying to head out of the clearing where her white-blonde hair was darkened into the shade.

    where'd everyone go?

ooc: And we're back to the Zombie Apocalypse show! Stay in tune for more gory drama!

Before she vanished, she turned back with no life in her dull eyes. "Yeah. Kumiko. Know her? Wanna find her? She lives over there with her new boyfriend." She pointed towards where the girl dwelled after spitting out her tongue. Of course, she was being sarcastic about the boyfriend thing. She couldn't give a crap about whatever he was planning to do or what he wants to do with Kumiko, or whatever Hideaki said. "Bring the deer yourself if you want, or go find her and drag her here. Don't forget to credit me. Bye, then." But one more thing caused her to stop in her tracks and hesitate. Eli whipped around one last time. "And, just letting you know, there's something called a joke. I wasn't actually trying to do so, I was just messing around." The girl confessed. Personally, she didn't care about her looks. She guessed it was a good thing people paid attention on who she was rather than what she looked like... but they didn't seem to like who she was. Without another farewell slipping past her lips, she waved back around and disappeared.[spoiler] Name: Elianna (Eli)
