He hated the feeling of it; tiny grains of sand stuck in every crevice. It made him feel... wrong.

Of course, he couldn't say what was typical or not. He was too young for that; he hadn't been alive long enough. He simply assumed.
He was dressed as a cyberman, the mark on his chest and large silver rod bent around his head making it rather obvious. He had almost come as a dalek- however, he had quickly run out of patience for a complicated costume such as that and had compromised with a villain just as important to doctor who.

To be honest, Libby was doing alright. He was pissed as hell at his parents, sure, but they hadn't been around much. In fact? He hadn't seen much of any of his family. And he was fine with that.

He couldn't think of many people who knew his secret. Finalky, tired of wondering, he spoke up. "who is that for?"

It wasn't like he was going to lead a raid on them or declare them public enemy number one--how foolish would that be? No, he was going to be the grumpy coward that he was and just complain about it a whole lot.
Right now, however, is ATTENTION was diverted. His beautiful tail had been caught in a trap! He wasn't hurt in the slightest; though his pride did take a beating. Rather than injured, he was upset. He wasn't going to tug his tail free! What if he lost fur? What if it got bent out of shape? How would he put bows on it? He resigned himself to calling for help, ignoring how weak it made libby seem. His looks came first.

His life was already screwy and he wanted to keep their screwy lives separate from his.
Libby would settle for trying to remain unnoticed, and he tucked himself into a cozy position as far away from his fathers as he could.

God, not only was he seemingly weak, ensnared in this thing, but he was weak in front of one of the people he so despised.
Maybe despised was harsh, because hard as he tried he still loved his family, but he certainly didn't want to be around kata.
The kitten blinked greatfully at Selene. She was, without a doubt, the one member of his family he could tolerate. It helped that she had given him a bow. "listen, kata, maybe I wouldn't be out of camp if you had paid more attention. But I'm old enough to take care of myself. I'm three whole months!" he moved his tail, greatful to have it free, albeit upset that it was one of his fathers who freed him.
He hadn't yet met this feline, but he liked her soft tone. "I will," he whispered, smiling.

Finding a bow while hunting sounded pretty cool; Libby might have to go hunting himself. "I- really? I'd love it." please don't see it as weak, he added mentally.
