    the blue furred kitten entered the world passively as diva pushed her out into the open. the unfamiliarity of her new world made bluebell shiver. she missed the safety and comfort she was used to inside the womb. she squirmed around, protesting the coldness and openness of her new surroundings.

    it was a beautiful day; the sun was shining brightly through the clouds on a background of clear blue sky, a rare occurrence for the city bloodclan resided in. there was a warm breeze in the wind, a remnant of summer times that would soon be gone completely.


    for bluebell, it was her first day out exploring by herself. she had been frail as a newborn kitten, too weak to play with the other kits for the first two moons of her life. but today, she felt better than ever as she skipped along the street, a sweet smile gracing her maw.

    "and i'm bluebell." the small kitten would meow, peering out at celsius from behind her mother, diva. she hadn't met celsius yet, or anyone really at this point in her life besides her mother and brother. then, bluebell noticed the scent of something meaty, and she sniffed the air further to decipher what it was, but couldn't. "something smells yummy." she commented.

    bluebell had followed her mother to the feast, her grassy green eyes lighting up at the sight of all the food. "may i have some?" the skinny kitten would ask diva, pointing to the prey pile with her tail. the huge tomcat standing next to the pile was a bit scary though, so she hesitated to approach.

    bluebell gave each of the bloodclanners a small, dainty smile as they approached. she puffed out her chest when her mother introduced her in front of the older felines. they were all much bigger than her, but then again, everyone was much bigger than her. "hi." bluebell would meow meekly while she shuffled her paws nervously, hoping that they would approve of her.

    as usual, bluebell was following her mom diva around the city. as diva sat down to watch the race, bluebell did so as well, popping a squat right next to her abyssinian mother. "what's going on, mommy?" she did not hear six announce the race, nor did she know what a 'race' was.

    bluebell felt reassured as six smiled back. she tried to stand tall and proud as the much larger tom loomed over her. "i'm two." the kit meowed, leaving out the 'moons' accidentally. "what about you?" bluebell didn't realize it was rather rude to ask a grown cat that. she simply assumed that was what she was supposed to do, like when someone asked 'how are you' you were supposed to reply and ask them the same thing.

    "copper!" bluebell greeted with a squeal, attempting the pounce on her brother's tail. copper towered over bluebell as she stood next to him. she looked so small in comparison it was hard to believe they were littermates. "what are you doing?" the small grey kitten asked, her green eyes wide with admiration for her brother.
