[fancypost bgcolor=Transparent; border: 0px;width: 400px; margin-center: -5px; overflow: hidden; text-align: justify; font-size: 11px;]The next to emerge was Pale Dust of Dried Bones. Or rather more commonly called Paledust, and on occasion, Dusty. She was the Star Teller, experienced and with clear grey eyes that often spent most nights looking at the stars or wandering both halves of the territory with little regard for herself thanks to a strong resistence to both cold and hot weather, unlike most of her peers. Her eyes would quickly scan the members already waking, before giving a slight nod to herself and taking her graceful limbs to move toward Forgotten Tune of the Lark at Dawn, or rather Lark, her new to-be.
"A fine morning," she said quietly, her tail flicking slightly. She's not hungry, and she rarely ever was these days. She's aware she needs to eat more, but puts it off, more focused on her daily work than herself at the time. The time when disease ran strong and herbs went low was fast approaching, and it would affect both the colder side of the territory and the drier. Recounting their stocks, which were only three quarters full, she nearly frowned. She would like them three times their normal capacity, as she could tell from the stars and the weather that this winter would not be an easy one for any of them. She's always been good at reading her surroundings, a reason she makes a good Star Teller.
She attempted to distract herself from her thoughts, so she looked at Wakingsun and Breeze, her grey eyes curious but patient. Patient as always. "Would it be alright if later Lark and I went out with someone else to go for herbs? I want to get as many as we possibly can, but still wait for some late-sprouting plants to fully grow and pick those before it gets too cold or the first frost comes sweeping through the colder section of the territory," she said gently, not exactly loud or very moderate. More of a mezzo piano.

[fancypost bgcolor=Transparent; border: 0px;width: 400px; margin-center: -5px; overflow: hidden; text-align: justify; font-size: 11px;]Paledust was net to walk up, graceful form moving over the foreign land with controlled grace thanks to her time spent with the previous Star Teller, one of the most graceful of her time. She looked forward with bright grey eyes, trotting beside Lark patiently as she observed the new territory and noted the flora and fauna they passed, silently taking notes that would come in handy later. She needed to adjust immediately to this territory and learn as fast as she could from whatever natives that rermained, and thus assess their stores before figuring the rest out with the other Star Tellers.
Standing slightly behind Wakingsun beside Lark, she looked out with grey eyes that were calculating and analytical, face flat like cold, stony granite. Few would guess she was a caring healer and not a higher ranking persona of sort, but no, she was merely one of three Star Tellers and Star Teller To-bes, the other not currently with them Brokenhowl. It was then she had been about to announce herself that she noticed Lark tensing up, almost like he was going to bolt. We don't know the dangers of this place yet! she thought immediately, reaching out and going to clamp down on his scruff and drag him back, mumbling, "Pale Dust of Dried Bone, Star Teller, a healer," through her apprentice's fur.

[fancypost bgcolor=Transparent; border: 0px;width: 400px; margin-center: -5px; overflow: hidden; text-align: justify; font-size: 11px;]Listening from her usual spot somewhat near Wakingsun, Paledust nodded after every new fact. A new rank, titles, allies. It made sense, but some were bound to be confused by it. No matter, as long as people understood enough that this change was for the good of the tribe, and that it would eventually lead to a better future for the generations to follow them. She knows that with the new members bound to be arriving, she may possibly have competition for her place as Star Teller, no matter how well she does at her job. But otherwise, she nods in acceptance with a mere, "Alright."
ooc// aaa ok
some stuff about ranks + titles (nothing negative)
i want to keep the ranks at a minimum and titles have some difficulty to get. having fewer high ranks will give everyone more incentive to be active and get an hp, and hp's to keep up their activity so they stay that way
just my thoughts
and also
yea i like the titles + everything else -

so here are just random thoughts from que to give this place a unique feel that could attract people. most of these do occur in the main game, just not as often- events relating to the season! like droughts in the summer that may drive people to go against each other in attempts to get water, blizzards in the winter that force characters in the camp causing stirfever and the faster spread of disease, along with rising tensions possibly
- besides that, events relating to the environment more than that, like rock slides, or earthquakes, storms and such!
- loss of prey, and people going to drastic measures looking for food. or maybe herbs, and everyone gets hostile and makes the situation worse by hurting each other. or hell, a plague! dude, how cool would that be?? i would totally sign up for that!
