Caitlin walked back to the small abandond house and lay on the ground.

Yondia glared at Flora.


Oh no! Beryl! Ink lunged at the Great Mystery, aiming to cling to its back and possibly stab it with the shard of glass in her jaws.

Ink tumbled to the ground, quickly regaining her balence.

Caitlin continued to sleep peacefully.

Ink quickly scampered up the tree. I have to follow Beryl! she started springing from branch to branch, following him from above.

Ink spotted the Great Mystery out of the Corner of her eye. She picked up speed, gazing back longingly at the small source of water. So... Thirsty....

"I-I'll look for a place for us to hide!" she picked up speed, passing Beryl. She searched the ground desperately until she found it; a fox hole. Big enough for both of them to fit in, but too keep the Great Mystery out. She lept from the tree and rolled over to the hole. She crouched, waiting for Beryl to catch up.

Ink crouched, spotted Beryl coming over the hillside. "In here!!!" she yelled, flicking her tail to the Fox Den.

Ink's eyes filled with fear. No! she leaped behind it. "Hey ugly! Afraid of a she-cat?! Awww, what a softy!"

Ink's green eyes flashed. She somehow trusted this strange cat. Where is this strange cat taking me?!

Thoughts whirled around in Ink's head. How will Beryl be safe! He's about to be torn to shreds!

Yondia watched Starch with a cruel gleam in his eyes. Well, Well, what's loverboy doing now?

Ink blinked. "Where.." thats all she managed to get out. She didn't want to question this cat, he seemed like he knew what he was doing.

Yondia snarled at Flora, an angry glint lighting his eyes. "You don't tell me what to do little girl!"


Ink blinked. "What about Beryl?"

Ink slouched. "How do I know your not out to kill me?!" she stood up. "I don't need another cats help. I dont trust you."

"Maybe you wanted to kill me yourself, so that Beryl couldn't help me when you tried." a gleam of distrust lit Ink's eyes.

Ink narrowed her eyes. She sprang out of the hole. "I can manage for myself."
