[fancypost bgcolor=; borderwidth=0px; bordercolor=; width: 350px;][justify][color=white][size=7pt]she, in fact, wasn't actually new to hawkclan. instead, she had gone inactive, just like a bunch of noirstar's other kits. but nevertheless, she was back. back and ready to...well, have fun.

being the mute kitten out of all her siblings wasn't very pleasant. though being inactive, sona still could remember a few things about her childhood. being mistreated for her inability to talk, having to stay back at camp during battles and patrols, and basically being her daddy's little girl the entire time. not the most cheerful and happy memories, but whatever. the blue tortoiseshell she-cat would eventually collect new ones that were happier. for now, she would stick with what they told her to be: an insecure, shy, daddy's girl.

the newly-made apprentice padded out of the apprentice's den, ready to start a brand new day in hawkclan.

    /rushed ending

[fancypost bgcolor=; borderwidth=0px; bordercolor=; width: 350px;][justify][color=white][size=7pt]"daddy?" she called out telepathically, hoping her call would reach her black and white father. "um, daddy, i want to talk to you please." a frown crossed her lips. did he perhaps disappear to one of his important meetings as a leader? or did he just not want to see her anymore? oh no...did she disappoint him? maybe she should get out of here as fast as she could. shooting one more glance inside her father's den, she turned around, ready to leave.

[fancypost bgcolor=; borderwidth=0px; bordercolor=; width: 350px;][justify][color=white][size=7pt]i really shouldn't be here. everyone's going to tease me again!

no they wont. you're strong enough to withstand their mean comments!

    but what if i dont?

a little argument begun in her mind as she padded forwards to the group of cats. it had been a while since she had been heard from and she didn't really think that the cats of hawkclan would be immature enough to tease her more. especially since her father was the big bad monarch of hawkclan, too. she would at least gain a little bit of respect from that, wouldn't she? or maybe not, since it did not really matter about who your parents were. then again, others tended to treat you better if they knew that your father was a high position. for now, she would just keep that to herself.

with a bit of a nervous glance at each individual member, sona walked up, waiting for the loner's answer.

[fancypost bgcolor=; borderwidth=0px; bordercolor=; width: 350px;][justify][color=white][size=7pt]oh, she knew that feeling. that feeling where you believe that you can be what your father wanted you to be, but then you realize that your just an insecure she-cat who only has a highly-ranked father and that's the end of it. after the endless teasing of her disability to speak, sona wished that she could fade away. that almost worked, until the blue tortie got enough courage to show her face around hawkclan once again.

"i know that feeling," she aimed to send the message telepathically to those around her after she padded up to them. "i have experienced it for nearly my entire life."

[fancypost bgcolor=; borderwidth=0px; bordercolor=; width: 350px;][justify][color=white][size=7pt]ooh! her daddy was here! she could easily fit in here! allowing a smile to be placed on her lips, she scurried up to noirstar, attempting to press up against him. and then she noticed that there were other hawkclanners around her. other. hawkclanners. sona's light blue eyes glanced up to the others around them and she immediately took a nervous step back from her father. wouldn't want to be embarrassing him in front of all these cats and the lion, she thought.

"uh..." she murmured telepathically, not really caring who heard her message. the apprentice then turned to snapkit and offered a friendly smile. "hello."

[fancypost bgcolor=; borderwidth=0px; bordercolor=; width: 350px;][justify][color=white][size=7pt]"c-could i come?" she attempted to ask telepathically after appearing beside noirstar's side. "i-im not the...uh...best hunter, but i'll try my best." in all honesty, sona thought of herself to be the worst hunter in hawkclan. she couldn't pounce properly, she couldn't stay still, and she couldn't even catch something! then again, she had only become an apprentice only recently.

[fancypost bgcolor=; borderwidth=0px; bordercolor=; width: 350px;][justify][color=white][size=7pt]and then came the voice of the she-cat known as ridingpaw. did she, perhaps, also want to tease her about her muteness? that was why she was calling for everyone to become friends with her; so that she could lure in the insecure kittens and make their lives miserable. but after a little bit of thinking, sona assumed that she would be safe. listening from afar, it didn't seem like ridingpaw wanted to make people feel bad. in fact, it sounded like she was a bubbly girl who everyone liked!

walking up to them with slightly nervous steps, she only offered them a friendly dip of her head before taking a seat next to the lion whom she knew vaguely.

[fancypost bgcolor=; borderwidth=0px; bordercolor=; width: 350px;][justify][color=white][size=7pt]a nervous smile was returned to stickykit, and mentally, she congratulated herself! woohoo! first minute and no one had teased her about her muteness! way to go sona! and then she thought about it again and remembered that she didn't even speak or use her telepathy power, so no one would know about her disability. dang.

[fancypost bgcolor=; borderwidth=0px; bordercolor=; width: 350px;][justify][color=white][size=7pt]she only gave the wildcat a curve of her lips. she would have talked using her telepathy, but she felt that if she used it, others might overhear since she wasn't very good at using her power. and if others knew that she talked with telepathy, they would find out that she was actually mute and begin to tease her. so sona kept quiet from now on, only looking down at her white paws.

[fancypost bgcolor=; borderwidth=0px; bordercolor=; width: 350px;][justify][color=white][size=7pt]a smile appeared on her lips as her father answered her question that was meant for the viceroy. well, she supposed it was meant for the others, but it didn't really matter now. it was answered, and luckily, by her father who was the only one that she could trust here. aside from funeralpaw who she barely knew. as sona heard the voice of cordelia telling them that they would set off, the blue tortie glanced up at her father before beginning to walk, making sure that she stayed beside him.

[fancypost bgcolor=; borderwidth=0px; bordercolor=; width: 350px;][justify][color=white][size=7pt]"who's he, daddy?" sona attempted to mew telepathically after appearing beside her father. "i-is it a bad guy? should i go away and protect the others?" hopefully the answer to both of those questions was 'no', since she was frightened very easily, especially by enemies of hawkclan. that was also why the feline tended to stay in the apprentice den often to make sure she wouldn't be scared to death today.

[fancypost bgcolor=; borderwidth=0px; bordercolor=; width: 350px;][justify][color=white][size=7pt]slightly jumping after hearing the voice of the ex-aristocrat, she looked at ringbearer with slightly frightened blue eyes. "u-uh," she attempted to murmur to him telepathically. "sona." after the arrival of funeralpaw, the tortie immediately scampered towards him, wanting to stay by his side because he was the only recognizable hawkclanner there. aside from stickykit, of course, but she wasn't a five hundred pound lion that could protect her when needed.

[fancypost bgcolor=; borderwidth=0px; bordercolor=; width: 350px;][justify][color=white][size=7pt]"y-you have leader stuff? i dont think i should be bothering you then," she murmured, a bit of a worried look in her baby blue eyes. "but i guess you could say it's kind of important. though it's not as important as your duties. so maybe i should leave you to your work."

[fancypost bgcolor=; borderwidth=0px; bordercolor=; width: 350px;][justify][color=white][size=7pt]though she wasn't one for training as she saw it as an 'accidental' way to hurt someone both physically and verbally, she did like watching her daddy practice his skills. it was cool but kind of scary at the same time. thinking about who would be on the other end of his paws made her worried for that someone, even if it was an enemy.

"d-do you m-mind if i watch?" the mute apprentice asked telepathically after appearing beside noirstar's side.
