As for the recap, Sirensong has basically given herself up to the rogues. She and Xiu are now mates. Petal when on a rampage and attacked Sirensong out of jealousy since she was in love with Xiu. Siren went to Heian (the medicine cat) and got her wounds patched up before Petal found them again. Petal got distracted and the two escaped the med den. Blue decided to hide Heian from the rogues (which he now betrayed to become a part of Emerald clan) in a rabbit hole. The scent of prey is strong enough to mask their own. Mint, who is extremely weak, announced Emeraldclan's surrender and offered up Sirensong, Cloud, and the queen, Aurora. After the announcement, he passed out. Xiu is trying to get Sirensong not to go, but Siren doesn't want anything bad happening to the clan.

He He found his way to Hollypaw and Inori's sides, doing his best to assure them he would take the best care of them as he could. He brushed his head against their flanks and gave a weak smile. "Emeraldclan cats are the strongest of them all," he promised distantly, gaze locking onto his mate as he finished his statement, "They will come back to us in the near future. From then on, I'll do my best to look after everyone."

He sounded like a father. He displayed a bout of pride, silently claiming Emeraldclan's future victory. He had faith in these cats- he knew they could defeat the rogues even after Mint surrendered them over. Opposed to his facade, Xiu was falling apart on the inside. He had finally been able to express his love for Sirensong and now she was being literally taken away from him. The rust-colored tom cat looked almost detached. Their queen was leaving, his mate, and a mother... How could this even be happening?

He made a disgusted look at the group of rogues. "If I find out any of you even lays a paw on any of these cats, Starclan help me, I will devastate your entire purpose." His voice was icy, eyes dull and solid. A low growl rumbled from deep within his chest, his claws flexing and retracting as he held himself back. Oh, how he was burning to attack them. His tail lashed behind him violently.

[color=slategrey]Heian trembled next to Blue, heterochromic eyes welling up with tears. She'd never even dreamed of a day like this. She'd never even heard Xiu as angry as he was.

He hadn't been looking to pick a fight, but he was in no position to question the queen's words. He exhaled heavily, fixing his bright green eyes on the earth around his reddened paws. His tail had still been swaying at quite a quick speed, as he was still angry about the whole situation, but he remained obedient and silent.

Xiu fetched Heian to bring medical attention to their king. He felt heavy, his mind, his body, his paws... Even his eyes. After meeting Sirensong, his world of black and white was brought to life with brilliant colors... And now they were gone. He knew his mate was strong, however, and a small spark of hope dwindled within him.

Heian quickly rushed out with Xiu after nodding at Blue gratefully. He mind was spinning. They had a new clan mate but lost a few just a moment ago... And their king... Mint. The heterochromous feline looked at the unconscious tom, nudging him with her about. "Mint, can you hear me?" she asked before thanking Darkclaw for the assistance in cleaning his wounds. She chided Inori to calm down.

She turned to the new tom again, "Now, if you could bring me some comfrey root and some goldenrod... If you spot any raspberry leaves, they would be greatly appreciated."

Xiu parked himself next to the younger cats to support them, keeping Heian and the king in his peripherals. It was times like this when not much left his maw. He eyed Blue closely, unsure if he could trust the tom.

She was surprised when he brought majority of the herbs she'd asked for. When she finished, she looked down at Mint with a soft, hopeful look. "Mint... Your wounds have been patched, you should recover quickly." she murmured, tail swaying softly. She was aware he was unconscious, but maybe... just maybe the words of encouragement could be heard.

Xiu glared at Blue the entire time he began to approach him, tensing up slightly. His claws unsheathed instinctively when the tom originally a part of the rogues neared him. Suddenly Xiu looked bigger, but it was merely his stance. After the explanation, the king-to-be softened slightly. "Fine... But you must prove yourself worthy to Emeraldclan. From here on you will be pledging loyalty. Otherwise, you will be exiled without question." he uttered, sounding cold. He'd been void of all emotion.

Xiu gave a single nod, his paws placed firmly on the ground. His claws have been long retracted by now and his tail swayed gently behind him, low to the ground. He felt out of place making these decisions. "I understand. For now, until our king can decide where you belong, you may help Heian and her apprentice, Lightningpaw, as best as you can." he told the tom, emerald gaze fixed onto him. He was fully trained to make a king's rules- a king's decisions, so this had felt like practice.

Heian turned towards her apprentice, "I've finished Mint's wounds. At this point, it's a waiting game. Most of the clan's wounds have been patched as well, all except Xiu." she looked at the tom. He looked like he was aching- Heian felt sorry. "However, he may be stubborn. He's trying to keep strong for all of us," the feline's voice became quiet towards the end.

Xiu watched as Inori ran after Hollypaw. They needed each other right now. "Be careful, you two,' Xiu lightly chided as he sat down, beginning to lick one of his stained paws. Only then he began to feel the pain of his wounds, wincing slightly. The adrenaline must have stopped pulsing through him, he figured silently.

[color=slategrey]Heian turned to Blue and offered a polite smile, bowing her head as she introduced herself. "I am Heian. I'm not quite the strength of the clan, but I live to heal." she says before quickly turning to Mint. She glanced back at Blue, "I'm sorry, the king needs me." she murmurs, guiding Mint to her den. "How are you feeling?" she asks, relieved that he was finally walking and even talking again.

Almost the same at least- I was thinking about kits born get certain blessings- however, I was thinking more along the lines of the zodiac. Kits born under certain signs develop certain powers. Air signs get the ability of levitation, etc~
