Neptune's ears pricked at the sound of more dogs approaching nearby, and he shifted to look back over at them. Kimchi, however, did not seem to take any notice of the newcomers and instead chose to continue to voice his opinion on squirrel-hunting "The truth of the matter is that these squirrels are only trying to gather food and travel from tree to tree. I say it's best to leave them to do whatever they please; they're too filthy and disease-ridden for me to even think about approaching anyway."
Neptune had shut out Kimchi completely at that point, rising to his paws, attempting to look as though he weren't interested in the other dogs. I desperately need someone to play with besides Kimchi; all he does is lecture me and ramble about pedicures and dog cookies.
He scanned the area around him, searching for a distraction to make an excuse for making conversation. Awkwardly, he began to search every inch of the park, his nostrils flaring and his snout buried in the grass. After some time, he stumbled upon a large tennis ball- No dog can resist this. With one swift movement, Neptune swatted the round, green tennis ball with one paw, sending it bouncing in the stranger dog's direction. He then dove after it quickly and blocked it before it could hit anyone, wacking it into the air once more. Kimchi just sat on the sidelines as he did so, licking his paws.

Neptune halted in his tracks to stand before Arwen. He narrowed his eyes, his tail a white blur, and dropped down to a play bow. "Hi, my name is Neptune."
Kimchi's head rose and his ears perked upright as the scene of the two playful dogs interacting. He inched forward, intrigued.
"You seem to be good at playing ball, so, d'you wanna play with me?" he bounced with excitement, slamming his paws onto the grass staying in playbow position. His dark yellow eyes focused on the ball, and his muscles tensed, preparing to chase after it in case his offer was accepted.
Kimchi, amused, got to his paws as well and walked over toward Bert and Levi- perhaps he should try and socialize as well. "Welcome, strangers." he barked, settling back down onto his belly only two feet away from the other dogs.

Kimchi's tail swayed gently and he dipped his head to the older dogs "ah, forgive me, I have not been here as often as I used to be. I am Kimchi- proud to claim ownership of the 3rd place trophy of the 2017 Cedar Valley dog show championship. I mean, not trying to boast or anything, but you know." He announced "do you three visit often? I feel as though I might have seen you somewhere before."
Neptune sprang after Arwen in an attempt to keep up, but the twists and turns she was making was beginning to throw him off balance. His previously poised and elegant stature became awkward and mildly clumsy as he crashed through bushes and stumbled around turns. "Hey! You're not getting away that easily!" He threatened, amusement in his tone. He pushed his legs to go as fast as they could, sprinting after her.

Neptune attempted to take the sharp turn while maintaining his pace, but instead managed to trip over his paws and tumble onto the grass. Everything flashed by in a blur of excitement and his heart lurched as he hit the ground. The impact of the fall left him winded, but he quickly rolled onto his stomach and grinned. Hm, I knew she'd be good but I never anticipated she'd be THAT good. I'm jealous. Neptune watched Arwen in awe, slack-jawed.
Meanwhile, Kimchi flinched after receiving a good blow to his ego, realizing how talented Levi is. "Ah..of course! I knew I recognized you; I saw you in an Ad or a poster somewhere. It is an honor to meet you Levi. An honor to meet all of you."

Neptune's ear twitched and he turned to gaze over at the other dog. She seemed to be the same breed as Arwen, and it was mildly confusing for him. He lay his head down on his forepaws, his ears swiveled forward and his tail twitched it seems that these new dogs are more forward than most. He thought promptly.
Kimchi leaped to his paws at the sudden interaction, slightly intimidated, but he stood his ground to see where it would go. He scoffed and tilted his head back.

Neptune eased back up onto his paws, a lopsided smirk plastered onto his maw. This is my chance, I'm gonna get the ball while she's distracted.
Carefully, he trotted over to Arwen, and once he was within reach, leaped and tried to steal the ball right from her jaws. Adrenaline began to rush back into his veins as he snapped gently for the ball, so as not to injure Arwen.
Kimchi spun a wide circle anxiously in front of the three other dogs, then settled back down to talk. He stretched out his hind legs as he lie down, showing off his massive curled tail.

It was a dark, chilly night, and you had just left the airport coming from (insert your hometown). The streets were silent aside from the occasional couple walking by in mid-conversation; a perfect night to stop by a restaurant. As much as you are tempted to pause and eat, you must continue on because it won't be easy lugging around all of your bags around town. It takes you quite a while, but eventually, you find a rather fancy looking hotel for a decent price. As you step in, the woman at the front desk greets you and reveals some rather.. alarming news. You are forced to share a room with a girl who is not as welcoming at first.
Things may not go as smoothly as you once thought they would.

(once you join, you are not required to stay but I would prefer it if you did. Please let me know if you are going to be gone for a long period of time)

A flash of tan, brown and black caught Neptune's attention from the corner of his eye briefly. He turned slightly to glace over at them.
Kimchi as well seemed to take notice of the newcomers. His ears perked and he tilted his head.

The scents of so many new dogs were flooding in that Neptune had to take a mental recap of all the dogs who had joined. Clearly he wasn't used to having so much company, because even though Neptune and Kimchi showed up there every two days, there weren't ever really that many dogs around. He slowly pulled away from Arwen to get a better look at everyone, his eyebrows raised.
"HEY NEPTUNE, COME CHECK THIS OUT" Kimchi called in his usual high-pitched raspy bark. He made a quick motion with his nose in the direction of a squirrel perched on the fence. It seemed to be grazing it's teeth along the shell of an acorn, clearly taking no notice of the nearby canines. Neptune gasped audibly, grinning a mile a minute.
The squirrel leaped down from it's high perch on the fence and began to munch on the acorn, standing in an open area just waiting to be eaten. Neptune licked his lips, then turned back to Arwen "I'll be right back for that ball!", then turned again and dashed toward the furry rodent.

Mallory grinned up at Cobra and simply replied with "Hi." before leaning forward slowly to rest his head on her foreleg. He still wasn't quite sure how to express excitement and longing for others, so this was the best way he could think of. His tail swayed slowly and his ears rested flat against his head, his eyelids heavy. He wanted to ask so many questions, but he came to the final decision that it would be best to hold his tongue until later. There was one pressing question to him though: Why did she run away so quickly? It couldn't have just been the human, because she stayed far away even after that.

(sorry for the extremely late response)

Mallory pulled back and looked up at Cobra. There were many things he wanted to say, but instead he left it as simply "we did pretty well, but there were a few bumps in the road."
He sat back on his haunches, waiting for Cobra's reply to be something typical like 'that's good' or 'i'm glad', like Mallory had noticed that some wolves would do.

<p>Mallory, surely enough, decided to tag along and make sure that Cobra wouldn't have too much anxiety about meeting the others. He wanted things to go back to how they started, so he wouldn't feel as though he started this mess. His tail hung low and wagged gently, and he trotted beside Cobra at her flank, feeling a bit more confident about bringing them back together.<br><br><br><br><woltlab-metacode data-name="hr" data-attributes="">❇•"everyone makes mistakes, but not everyone is willing to admit their mistakes"•❇</woltlab-metacode><br></p>

Thank all of you so much for the help! Honestly I posted this like last night or something so I'm really glad I got so many replies so quickly. So far, Quill's response helped me understand it the most, but the one thing I don't understand is how to add pictures and gifs to a fancypost?
