also cham is a cool bro i like his ambition xia is just a lil shit rip ]
The hellshadow fought against the urge to bare her teeth. She couldn't even prove if he was wrong or not, considering she, really, didn't know the territory. The scent that lingers around the border was nearly identical to that of the camp, and most of the rest of the territory. Perhaps she was blinded purely by his ambition and could realize the scent becoming stronger once more?
Xia thumped her fluffy tail against the ground and blew out some crystalline air. "It seems you're right, and, in turn, I am wrong." she admitted, though her cold, hard stare barely wavered. The ice breath wove around her as she finally turned away, annoyed by her own ignorance, and his own arrogance. "I would offer to give you a tour but I, clearly, do not know the territory, and would likely get us more lost than anywhere else." she muttered, turning her gaze back to her Clanmates to see if any of them would offer instead.
oooh i remember marie!!
when you said you remembered xia i was like,,,, crap,,,,,,, who else did u play

also i say cham and xia should have a thread and just.
yell.
She chuckled, nodding. "Yep, real magic." Xia agreed, pawing the snow that his tail tossed back into the circle before it melted. "Some creatures just call it powers, but... I don't know, magic sounds cooler, don't your think?" the young girl shrugged, rolling some snow into a ball with her paws. She didn't know his backstory, nor did he know hers. They were mysteries to each other, yet they seemed to click, even if on a childish level.
"So, I take it you've never made a snowman before?"
She turned her head back to the hyena as he spoke, ears turned towards him as he spoke about his own thoughts. She never really heard of a time before powers. And, personally, it was weird to think of a time. Then again, she was a creation of two mythical beasts as well as an ice queen, so perhaps such thoughts weren't meant for her puny mind.
"So, like, we're all part alien, in a sense?" she concluded, head tilted. If there was a time with no powers, and aliens did inhabit and, somewhat, takeover, then they would have their genes. "Or- or- we are the aliens. Ever think of that?" she then asked, grinning and showing off her pearly whites. It could be possible, right? If they were enough alien, then, surely, they could be considered alien.
As he spoke to Micah, her ears flicked back. She had heard moreso of the studying process - the probing and such. Though, she decided not to speak of it. Micah was too small to hear of what aliens supposedly did.
Xia was bullying? Her lips were pulled into a thin line. Okay, maybe a little, but not full on bullying. She was teasing, at best. Sibling rivalry. "I know how to stop my 'bullying.' Quit being a baby." the hellshadow countered, ears flat against her head. "There, simple, right?" Okay, maybe she was crossing that line between teasing and just being mean, but surely he could take it, right? He was older, so a child's words shouldn't hurt him as much, right?
She rolled her eyes as her thoughts were thrown away, due to his somewhat poetic statement about his hurt heart. He was a romantic. Xia contemplated leaving there and now, but he spoke once again, after playing with a leaf. "I mean. I'm pretty sure you're the opposite, Luca, but whatever you say." she finally said, voice void of any teasing, though she had the urge to say some sort of temperature related pun.
Xia approached soon after Luca, head low as she observed the newcomer. She wasn't attempting to be aggressive in any way, it was just that creatures smaller than her were hard to see from her height. And being a hellshadow meant she would be one tall canine. Anyhow, when the question of owls came up, Xia was as equally confused as her brother.
"There's other birds of prey, but I think owls are more suited for plain forests, not the rain kind." the cold girl informed, eyes narrowed as she sat herself down. "What, you cravin' one? I'm sure if you go into no man's land you can find one. Just don't trespass on another Clan's land and you'll be in the clear." Xia continued, confused as to why he wanted owls, or wanted to know about them. "Oh, welcome, by the way."
xia and cham thread would be hecka LOU d
only yelling
&& idk much abt him but that sounds like an a+ plot
also nice shitpost but also
why
Speaking of Xia, the hellshadow canine approached after Champagnepaw finished his oh-so-clever speech. She was slightly annoyed with the fact that Beautifulspirit humored the stranger instead of getting down to business. Nobody had the time to linger around borders and make idle conversation with someone who clearly didn't know where they were going in life. Yet, here they were, talking about old homes and siblings.
Yet, Xia decided that Cham's personality bugged her more than the situation itself. "Dear heavens, Champagnepaw. Do you have any will in your body to be anything but a shit person?" she rumbled, eyes lowered to the star covered fox. Elsie, she said her name was? May as well speed up the process. "I'm Xia. I'm not as cool as Beautifulspirit or Sollux, though." her voice lightened, though her stance didn't. "Do you have a home here, Elsie? Like, somewhere to stay? Or do you plan on being a wanderer, forever?" she cut to the chase, taking a seat.
Xia wasn't one to figure out who someone was when they had a body change. She had to be told outright, and even then, she would often forget. The young hellshadow found herself staring curiously at the kitsune that strutted through camp. She didn't want to risk confronting the unknown male, as she knew she didn't know everyone in the Clan, but she couldn't help but feel agitated when she couldn't connect a name to a face.
"Hey, you." she called to Luca, still oblivious to him being her brother, just in a different body. "Are you new here, or am I just slow?"
Xia trotted after her mother, casting a glare towards Cham. His existence bothered her, and so did his choice of words. Nearly everyone spoke English, so why did he think she should embellish with some other language. It wasn't cool. It was annoying. Still, Ramsay seemed to have taken care of the issue, so Xia proceeded to ignore the ambitious tom and get back to the matter at hand: the joiner.
Devereux? It seemed like a foreign name, which was sort of funny given the previous annoyance. "I'm Xia, its nice to have another set of paws to help out around here." she dipped her head to the foxhound, observing his clothing. It was... something. She wasn't entirely sure what it was. It seemed like a weird scarf, she wasn't sure. "Nice.. Uh... neck thing, you got there."
Yay i made my backstory thread for Fel and its a WIP but the thing thats done took like all night.
I don't have the time to read it right now, but from what I see, it looks really nice !! I can't wait for Fel to officially join!
also goodmornin' guys
Xia flattened her ears as she looked between the few creatures who joined to see the BlizzardClanner. She didn't appreciate her mother's advances towards this boys mother, even though she wasn't here. She had the urge to chide Sango, and plead to not act like this, at least in front of her. But no one, other than Aleksei, seemed bothered by her antics. Still, she gave her mother a slight nudge, hoping it would give her the idea to, possibly, not do that right now. She turned back to Aleksei, tail thumping against the ground.
"If that's settled, would you like anything for your travel back? Water, food...?" the hellshadow apprentice asked, assuming the deal was already agreed upon.
Xia had padded over, tail swishing. The concept of death wasn't really... a thing to her. She suffered abandonment from a young age and saw death as a glorified version of that. Yet she never murdered, witnessed a murder, not had been murdered, like many creatures who came back to life. Perhaps she just had to experience it some way, to feel some way about it.
Anyhow, the girl listened to the riddle, rather intently as it sounded familiar. Plus, it had ice. Xia wasn't avid nor obsessed over frozen water, but she knew its mechanics, and figured it would help her solve the case. And, it in fact, did. "Oh, I know!" she blurted out, somewhat happy that she got this one. Or at least, think she has it. She could be over thinking it, or not. She didn't continue, as it was Luca's turn, she assumed. She just glanced between her brother and Jon, tail thumping against the ground in excitement.
tracks bc im on mobile and i have zero of xias references on my phone :,^)
He was trying to avoid owls? As he conversed with the others, the hellshadow tried to make sense of the adverse attitude. Perhaps he was captured by an owl as a baby, or witnessed a sibling was instead. Or, maybe, he just didn't like owls. She didn't like things for virtually no reason, so she couldn't knock him for not liking owls. "Okay, alright. Understood." she nodded, which was followed by a shrug and her brother introducing her. She nodded a thanks in his direction before casting a small smile towards Jon's. "Micah's doing good with the territory, so he's a perfect guide." she praised the young pup, tail swishing.
Her ears flicked back as a voice hit them, her dull, pupiless eyes raising to find a corgi. He seemed offended of her find and actions, which led Xia to believe that, perhaps, these were his herbs. She raised her nose, glaring slightly at Bentley before rolling her eyes. "No need to be so loud." the ShadowClanner rumbled. "Are these yours?" she then asked, tail thumping against the ground.

Xia let a small smile onto her face as she brushed some ice off of her shoulder. "If you have the time, then yeah." she nodded, tail wagging. She was already beginning to like this Wrene character, considering this is their first time really talking to her and she had offered her help. "I lived here ages ago but, I dunno, I guessed things changed."
Xia narrowed her eyes at Micah, watching the boy sniff the alcohol and preparing to launch herself in and bat him away. Though, it seemed that he'd rather stick to water, or perhaps juice, then the adult drink. Good choice, little dude. She came up to sit beside him, tail low. "Alcohol is easy to make, though. It's just... squished, old fruit." she shrugged slightly, watching the liquid before shaking her head. "Anyways, Xia, in case you forgot."
