Righting himself quickly, heat flaring down his spine, Castor turned toward the voice, relieved to find it wasn't a threat. Though there was no reason for it to be a threat in the first place, panic was always the first thing on the tod's mind when he heard an abrupt sound. "Oh, Cairo!" He greeted with an airy smile, shifting his now-damp paws closer to the shore. "I'm just.. relaxing, I guess. Would you want to join me?" Castor offered quietly.

[fancypost bgcolor=transparent; borderwidth=0; bordercolor=transparent; width: 425px; line-height: 16px; text-align: justify; font-size: 12.3px;]"Great!" Castor nodded, pushing a lantern in the tom's direction. Seeing as he hadn't done so previously, he also nudged lanterns toward the other members of his awesome expedition.

"I would love to," the male rose to his paws, giving his forepaws a shake in turn to clear them of any extra water. He could understand where just sitting around and chatting could get boring, especially when neither were sure what the other wanted to chat about. While he was fond of sleeping and other lazy things, Castor enjoyed getting up and about, albeit that sometimes he woke up with sore limbs or a thorn in his fur.

[fancypost bgcolor=transparent; borderwidth=0; bordercolor=transparent; width: 425px; line-height: 16px; text-align: justify; font-size: 12.3px;]"A vessel," Castor echoed, trailing after the tabby. An endeavor like his cave, perhaps - exploring something new and exciting. Even if it was as much as an object lying in the sand; the fox could spend hours analysing as much as a neat-looking stone. The idea alone of 'finding a vessel' seemed to him like a treasure hunt, and damn if Castor didn't adore treasure hunts. "Sounds awesome."

[fancypost bgcolor=transparent; borderwidth=0; bordercolor=transparent; width: 425px; line-height: 16px; text-align: justify; font-size: 12.3px;]Unfortunately, Castor couldn't be bothered to mull over the 'news' part of her arrival, his thoughts snapping immediately to gifts. Ooh, gifts! How he wondered what kind of 'gifts' they'd be presented with today. He couldn't make any guesses that weren't out of the ordinary, though, so Castor kept quiet, padding up next to Caleb and offering the stranger a brisk nod.

[fancypost bgcolor=transparent; borderwidth=0; bordercolor=transparent; width: 425px; line-height: 16px; text-align: justify; font-size: 12.3px;]"Welcome!" The fox ambled over, wearing a ghost of a smile. A newcomer - much like himself. "I'm Castor." He'd hope that she felt cozy and welcomed while she stayed. That couldn't be hard to accomplish, as SkyClan was certainly a hospitable and kind group. Well, most of it.
