★ ★ ★ cookie-cutter heroes or anti-heroes? anti-heroes without a doubt. "um... i'll take one without a... a cookie-cutter hero please. and if it's okay with you, can... can i have the fist book of whatever series you... you give me please?" the blue-furred feline would ask with a little nod, her voice tremulous. hopefully arizona would give her a good comic book that she would enjoy, and want to keep. hey, if she liked it, the feline might even come back and ask for the the second, third, fourth etc. books in the series. maybe. day hadn't liked comic books before so she was rather doubtful that she would really enjoy reading whatever arizona gave her. but, there was still a small chance that the advisor would. small, but still there.

★ ★ ★ the advisor was the first to approach, her steps hesitant as she slowly made her way over. the femme loathed having to be the first to greet unfamiliar people or talk with ambassadors, they just simply made day nervous. but, she was already here, so the feline couldn't just sneak away and hope that the female on the border didn't see her. plus, that would just be rude to keep the person waiting a long time for someone else to stumble upon her. so, there she was, standing a couple feet away from the female, her tail lashing back and forth.

"how... how can i help you?" the child would ask, her voice barely audible. hoping no one else would find her while she was behaving so... awkwardly around the unfamiliar female. shuffling her paws and staring at the ground, the advisor would then wait for her response.

★ ★ ★ "well, it's... it's nice to meet you belladonna. i'm daypaw." the child would reply, a little less nervous this time. blizzardclan was their ally, and belladonna looked nice enough, so day calmed down a bit and actually offered a small smile. then she spoke again, "how often will you be... be visiting us?" hopefully bella wouldn't think of this question as too nosy, but the blue-furred feline simply was interested in knowing when belladonna would come and visit them. after doing this daypaw would seat herself, shuffling her paws and tugging at the woolly scarf that enveloped her neck. it was quite tattered now, loose strings hanging out of the stitching, the color was a bit dull, and it was covered in dust. maybe she should get a new one.

Day would walk up behind a male that she hadn't met previously and then her eyes landed on another person she didn't know. Inhaling the exhaling rather loudly the femme would come to a stop by twilightyears, her large bicolored orbs flicking back and forth between the two males. Shuffling her feet, the femme would presume that the one in the tree that had been stalking a small creature was the non-windclanner, and the child would then direct her gaze up to him. Frowning slightly day would await his response to the other windclanner's statement, her tail flicking back and forth.

★ ★ ★ the child would approach next, her mouth fixed into a tight line and her eyes slightly narrowed. they had discussed this at the last meeting, and chervil had assigned her the job of hanging back and alerting their allies if boneclan, scarclan, etc. decided to attack windclan while everyone was gone. coming to a stop beside her adoptive father, the youthful female would speak, her voice tremulous. "i am... am in the process of finding a mentor to teach me fighting skills, so... so i am still not able to attend. i apologize." she would say, casting her bicolored gaze to her small paws as she stood there, feeling rather awkward and like some sort of slacker. it was true though, she actually was searching for a mentor, and her mother actually had offered to train her, so maybe that problem would end up getting resolved. however, at the same time, the child felt a little... glad that she didn't have a mentor yet, since, as many people probably already knew, she hated violence. but, day actually had started to acknowledge that raids, fights, etc. were sometimes necessary, and that this way of solving problems was already ingrained into her society. something people probably thought the feline was incapable of, but it was true.

★ ★ ★ the child hesitated for a second before suddenly grabbing for a meatball and shoving it into her mouth, eyes wide. she hadn't expected the competition to be started so quickly, and she had stalled, and now probably was behind the others. chewing for a few seconds the child would gulp down the broken down meatball and then reached for another. she would place this one in her mouth as well and begin chewing, her eyes flicking back and forth as she watched the others around her, but then as soon as she swallowed that meatball, her focus was placed back on the bowl. only two meatballs, and the child already had a sick feeling. great. grabbing the third meatball she would eat, the blue-furred hybrid would stuff it in her mouth, cheeks puffing out as she did so.

★ ★ ★ well that was a lot of colorful language, but it wasn't anything the child hadn't heard before. approaching cautiously, the femme would listen to the the unfamiliar person speak, her eyes wide. the child was quite nervous about having to speak to northskies, but she had to. it was her job after all, and she had chosen it to be this way so that she could try and get over her initial nervousness when she net new people. so, there she was, standing beside tarotpaw, her tail lashing back and forth. hearing her ask about hawkclan, the child would suddenly nod, there had been major news coming from that clan, a group that called themselves the puppeteers had taken the group over (omg puppeteers 4 life). "hawkclan is... is now under the control of a group called the puppeteers... ma'm." she would say, her voice soft and tremulous. pausing for a moment, the child would then introduce herself, eyes adverted to the ground. "i'm... i'm daypaw by the way. it's nice to... to meet you northskies." her speaking was still filled with those strange little pasues that day made when she was thinking about what she was going to say, and they personally made day cringe. hopefully north wouldn't mind them.

★ ★ ★ the child would approach soon after the happenings between batpup and coralie, a rather confused look on her face. what had just happened? mouth folding itself into a frown, the child would spot arcanic, the joiner and she would remember the joiner gift bags she had. pulling one out, the blue-furred advisor would make sure there were o rips in the packaging before she would push it towards the hawk, her heart beating rapidly. what happened before i came? everyone seems so tense. blinking her prismatic orbs several times, the feline would look around the area, her mouth still a frown. was there a fight? there didn't seem like anyone here would pick fights though, so the young feline found herself quite confused instead of nervous or something like that. turning her attention back to arcanic, the femme would force a smile before speaking. "welcome to... to windclan."

★ ★ ★ the child was awoken by a commotion outside, and soon the feline was out on her porch, grumbling about how people just couldn't stay asleep at night. then she saw mike and tarotpaw a little ways off, talking about something. continuing to grumble under her breath, the blue-furred child would make her way over, eyes narrowed. then she heard their conversation. why was mike looking someone this late at night? couldn't he wait until morning? coming to a stop beside tarotpaw, the child would speak. "isn't it a... a little late for that? and no one named 'el' lives in windclan..." she would say, wishing she had her purple scarf with her, but the child had left it in her cabin, much to her dismay.

★ ★ ★ the child was a little startled when jonathan appeared behind her, but her fearful expression quickly changed to a smile when she saw him. "hey jonathan. how are you?" the femme would say with a little nod before speaking again. "ah... thank you, as you can tell i... i couldn't get the smile right though." she would say with a little chuckle, flipping back to the previous page and lightly tapping the distorted smile before fully turning her attention to the male. what were some conversation starters? what was something that they could talk about? day was at a loss, and so she sat still for a second before jumping a bit, struck by a rather lame idea. "so, how are you enjoying your advisor duties?" she would ask. awful conversation starter? check. but hey, that's all she could really think of that the two both currently did, so maybe they could talk about that? shaking her head slightly, daypaw would then try and come up with a backup conversation starter of sorts, but was having no luck.

★ ★ ★ the child had been putting these together for awhile, and since one idea in particular would both take awhile to get done and completely planned out, the femme had decided to go ahead and introduce both events. padding onto a patch of slightly raised ground the femme would speak. "hey guys. i... i was thinking about doing a couple of windclan events for... for halloween and just a little event for fun." a brief pause. "okay, the halloween one. i was thinking we could do sort of a halloween ball and invite all our allies and neutrals to it. it... it would be more of a formal sort of... of party; with dates and stuff, if you're okay with that, and maybe badges and a special little... little task to make it more fun for the guests? i'm... i'm sorry this is rather vague, but i thought the general idea might be fun." the child would pause again and inhale before jumping right back into speech. "and... and maybe for just a little fun thing to do, we could do a windclan-only add-on story event? like... like when one person says one thing and then someone has to add onto that, and so on and so forth, and make a... a story? i don't know, it... it actually doesn't have to be an event if you don't want it to be, i... i can just make a normal thread for it." so that would conclude her little ideas, stepping down of the mound, the hybrid would nervously await someone's arrival.

//ugggh sorry for being so vauge with the halloween one, i'm still trying work out the details and stuff

★ ★ ★ the child was the next to approach, feeling quite apprehensive as she did so. why was silas so rude? he had just joined, and making a good impression one your new clanmates was a must, and he didn't seem to care. heart beating quite rapidly, day would sort of top-toe over, her bicolored orbs stretched wide. coming to a stop beside her adoptive father, the child would open and close her mouth several times, searching for appropriate words. when she finally spoke, her voice was soft and tremulous. "i'm daypaw, nice to... to meet you." that was all she would say, and so with a little 'oomf' the child would plop down, her eyes trained on the newcomer. windclan and the exiles were very different societies that revolved around much different ideas, so the hybrid was unsure of how silas would adjust to his new lifestyle. hopefully his transition would be smooth.

★ ★ ★ the child was quite confused at first by this so-called ambassador's little 'gift of peace'. first off, the cartel was an enemy, and they didn't seem like the type to bring flowers. they seemed more like a group that would bring you a peace offering of drugs. the next weird thing about this girl was that she smelled... rancid. day heavily doubted that anyone could retract such a strong odor from a skunk cabbage just by stumbling about in it, so that was quite fishy as well. the 'ambassador' bringing the flowers was also acting quite suspicious as well, not seeming upset at all that she was being sent away. this is definitely not some stupid peace offering. the situation's too weird. casting a quick glance at the bundle of flowers, the child would then observe the relaxed gait of the 'cartelian', her eyes narrowing. did she take windclan to be a group of idiots? because no one in their right mind would trust what this girl had to say.

★ ★ ★ recognizing the male as the one who was chasing prey about at his joining, so the feline simply smiled and nodded, not too nervous about this encounter. the advisor had actually improved quite a bit in interaction and meeting new people in her opinion; she could speak a little more freely, and didn't struggle to make conversation with someone too much anymore. so that was good. her old behavior had been that of a spineless little child that was too afraid of the world that she could barely even speak or smile. but, that daypaw was no more.

padding over the femme would scome to a stop beside milktea, a familiar face that day saw around quite often. blinking her large prismatic optics the child would speak, her voice soft. "hello, i... i'm daypaw. it's nice to... to see you again." with a little dip of her cranium the child would then seat herself, her attention quickly focusing on a small bluebird a few feet away.

★ ★ ★ the slight ripple in the earth beneath her feet was enough to disturb the young feline and make her come to the sight of the event. day had been chasing an oriole about for the past hour or so, notebook and pen in her slightly parted jaws. all the advisor wanted to do was draw the little black and orange bird, but it had different ideas. it would fly from branch to branch every ten seconds or so, chirping an aggravating little melody. the blue-furred hybrid had run after it, stopping and scribbling down a new detail every time it alighted on a branch. that's when the earth had... rippled under her paws.

day wasn't too far from her adoptive father when this sort of... earth-shaking had happened, so the femme arrived quite quickly after tora, worry expressed clearly on her features. then she saw chervil. he wore a shocked expression upon his face, and after a brief moment, the child's eyes would hone in on the crack under his paw. "dad what happened?" it had been awhile since she had actually addressed him as dad, and chervil probably wouldn't like the name since it was so informal, but the feline carelessly used the title anyways. hopefully he wouldn't get mad at her.

★ ★ ★ "hey suga." the feline would murmur as she came over, her tail swishing back and forth. the femme was quite confident that he already knew who she was, so the blue-furred hybrid wouldn't go through all the formal introductions and stuff that she did with joiners and guests. seating herself near the host, her bicolored eyes would flick back and forth as she observed the area. the weather had been quite pleasant recently, not too cold, not too hot; just how the advisor liked it. tilting her head back, the child would then study the sky with squinted eyes, a smile forming on her lips. the bright blue dome above her head was filled with creamy white clouds and silhouettes of geese and other birds, and simply put her at ease.

★ ★ ★ the child had seen fire pelts and water pelts, and even the occasional rocky-earth pelt, but never one constructed of vines and small plants. to be honest, it was really quite neat. making her way over to cora, the child would come to a stop beside tora, her eyes wide. "that's really neat, cora." was what day would say, her tone expression her curiosity. what if something like this happened to her one day? like, she was just doing her thing when BOOM wings. or a fiery pelt, or elemental control, or something. she would love that. but, nothing like that had happened so far. she was still quite lacking in powers besides her telepathy and telekinesis that barely ever worked properly, so she didn't really count those as powers. after all, they didn't function properly!

★ ★ ★ the child would remain silent while chervil spoke, occasionally nodding and swishing her tail. "i was... was thinking about neutrals like skyclan, colouredclan, stormclan, shadowclan, thunderclan, seaglassclan, and... and arcadianclan. most likely not all of those clans, but... but i would like to invite a few from this group, if that's okay with you." a quick pause, "and yes, this wouldn't... wouldn't be happening until the week of halloween. so, we... we do still have lots of time to plan everything out." day was quite glad that chervil liked her idea even though it was still being planned, she had been expecting a sort of 'in-the-middle' answer from the leader, but thakfully chervil had delivered a definitive answer.

then the topic shifted to her other idea. "yes, i'll set that up tomorrow!" the advisor would say with a smile and a nod, her tail flicking back and forth.

★ ★ ★ the child approached the unfamiliar canine shortly after aslancub, however due to his pleasant and laid-back demeanor, the femme wasn't worrying about confronting him. coming to a stop just in front of the obsidian dog, the child would nod and offer a small smile, her ears perked forwards. "hello there." day would hum in soft tones, her kaleidoscopic visionaries landing on the male's bandanna. so he wears something around his neck too? cool! now i won't be alone wearing something. the hybrid's thoughts would murmur as the child absentmindedly reached up and started tugging on her scarf, waiting for koday to respond.
