★ ★ ★ padding forwards after ephemeris, the femme would smile at nukacub, worry sickening her. she had seen the male around camp a few times but the honorguard had never officially introduced herself or held a conversation with him, so she was quite nervous about this whole situation. seating herself beside bluepup the feline would force a smile as she introduced herself, heart fluttering and her breathing erratic. "i'm daypaw a honorguard here, it's nice to meet you." the hybrid would muse, her ears flicking back against her skull as she spoke to nukacub.

★ ★ ★ a border patrol? those weren't held very often, so the feline had never gotten the chance to attend one. padding over to ephemeris the child would smile at the familiar face, her ears perked forward in interest. i hope we don't run into any trouble while doing this. some enemies have been pretty vicious lately. the femme's thoughts would murmur as she came to a stop in front of the host of the patrol. "i'd... i'd like to join ephemeris." day would say, flicking her tail back and forth. casting a glance at her father, the blue-furred hybrid would smile and dip her head before turning her attention back to eph.

★ ★ ★ since day had already met sera many times, this experience wasn't that bad for the youth. padding over after eph, the female's orbs would flit back and forth across the area, taking in the scenery and who was present. eph, aslan, 89-5b, batpup, meg, and chervil. familiar faces. sighing softly the child would focus on sera, a small smile creeping onto her lips. "hello, i'm daypaw. i think we've met." the feline would say, her ears flicking back in forth due to the rush of emotions she was experiencing.

★ ★ ★ the call for a meet and greet was rather loud, the child heard it all the way from her cabin. making up her mind to attend the get-together the femme set off at a good pace, covering ground rather quickly as she searched for the person holding the meet and greet. after a few minutes of searching around, the feline stumbled upon the small group, a smile on her face. trotting over the youth would recognize bluepup from her joining. "hey bluepup, how are you doing?" the honorguard would ask, her lips lifting up even more into a bigger smile as she spoke.

after speaking the child seated herself, her prismatic visionaries wide as she scanned the area. the peach tree that she had gotten fruit from yesterday was near this area, and the femme briefly wondered if the pup would want one of the peaches. they're pretty overripe though... i don't think she'd want one. her thoughts murmured, as the youth awaited bluepup's response.

★ ★ ★ "um... what is your business with windclan?" the child would sputter as she slowly made her way over, prismatic orbs stretched wide. the blue-furred hybrid was quite confused by the words the male had uttered, they were obviously in a different language, and one that she didn't speak for that matter. wait... but i spoke to him in english! what if he doesn't speak or understand english at all? the honorguard's thoughts would muse as day began to get sick with worry.

however her fears were washed away when the male said three words, this time in english. he asked about his location, and the femme sighed in relief. well, at least she had sort of answered his question earlier. with a little nod she would forced a smile, her legs feeling weak.

★ ★ ★ the child stumbled upon ivan while going to check up on lucy, and she was shocked by the sight of the bear. his scratches were inflamed and infected, and his skin was tor up in many places. "hold on ivan, i'll try to help." the honorguard would pant before running inside the cabin to fetch the herbs needed. okay, marigold. check. poppyseed. check. cobwebs. check. horsetail. check. dandelion. check. what else would lucy use? i don't know! the child grabbed several herbs before rushing out to the bear, her breathing erratic.

laying out the herbs the child would begin to break them down into usable substances, her legs shaky. she was longing for another person like lucy or suga to come and help her since they had more knowledge and experience than her, and they would be able to heal the bear faster. hopefully they would arrive soon.

★ ★ ★ the youth remembered seeing levi around many times and had talked with him once or twice before, so daypaw wasn't especially nervous about this confrontation. padding over to her adopted father's side the child would smile, her ears perked forwards. the femme didn't normally get too nervous around people she knew or had met before, so she lacked the awkward paused that normally characterized her speech. "hey there levi!" the hybrid mused, seating herself by chervil. it was nice to see the male around again, she had always thought he was a pretty neat guy. tugging on the scarf that hung around her neck the child would tilt her cranium back, her smile growing as she relished the beautiful blue of the sky.

★ ★ ★ the honorguard had stargazed many times before, and each time the beautiful twinkling lights seemed more beautiful. the youth had actually been sleeping this night instead of stargazing though, but the many voices had drawn the apprentice out of her cabin and over to the group, her eyes barely open. padding over slowly, the child would move jerkily, still trying to wake up from the deep sleep that had enveloped her just moments before. stumbling over her scarf once or twice day would flop down next to van and look up at the stars, a small smile on her maw. after remaining silent for some time, day spoke, her voice raspy. "they're so beautiful."

★ ★ ★ major announcement? what could that be about? maybe its over that spat about colouredclan? the child's thoughts would murmur as she sat quietly, ears perked forwards as she awaited the tiger's announcements.

darth was now an honorguard. she approved of his promotion, he was active and quite good at voicing his opinions. he deserved it. suga got the medic title. of course, he was an excellent healer and deserved it as well. and then she was promoted as too, an advisor! surprised, the child would beam, her features lighting up. "thank you praugespring! it's an honor." the newly-appointed advisor would muse, kneading the end of her purple scarf with her small paws. cocoacub was promoted to a guardian, she was also very deserving of the promotion, she was incredibly active.

but then... the major announcement. the child was silent for a while, her eyes wide as she absorbed the tiger's news. he was... stepping down? leaving? sucking in a rattling breath the child would look at prauge, her visionaries widening. she didn't want him to step down or leave, he was such a good leader! but, she had to respect his decision. day would greatly miss him, he had lead windclan fairly and honestly and was someone to be remebered. "we'll miss you praugespring." the femme would say, her voice cracking as she spoke.

★ ★ ★ the youth was incredibly glad that batpup had shown up here before her and asked the typical 'name and business' question, so now she would have to say much. blinking her kaleidoscopic orbs the femme would study the unfamiliar person, her tail flicking back and forth. she seemed rather skittish and timid much like herself, so the feline felt most of her nervousness melt away, they were in the same boat. there had been a large influx of joiners recently and the advisor was guessing that this female was a joiner too. they also lacked the basket and official look that most people from other clans possessed, so that made day almost sure this person was a joiner. however, the hybrid had been wrong a few times before, so she would just have to wait and see what this female's purpose for coming to the border was.

★ ★ ★ the child was mildly confused by all the commotion going on around her. first, some random guy had called her pretty, and now said random guy was in tears about hitting someone. opening and closing her mouth several times the child would try and come up with a response to what all was happening around her. but nothing came to mind. so, the youth remained opening and closing her mouth for a while, looking like a fish as she searched for words. finally they came to her.

"hey! it's okay, no one... no one hit anyone else! and i don't think he meant to be like... flirty... or something like that coralie, but thanks for your concern!" the advisor would say in her normal soft tone, an alarmed look on her face.

★ ★ ★ "i'd like a task please." the blue-furred she-cat would purr as she made her way over to the small group. the femme had sadly not gotten around to doing her last weekly task, and this week the youth was determined to complete what she was given. seating herself next to jonathan the feline would await lessa's response.

★ ★ ★ the femme had not known coralie prior to this moment, but the youth was at ease for the most part. she was a returner and was apparently friends with jonathan. "it's... it's nice to meet you coralie. i'm daypaw." the hybrid would muse, a smile dancing on her lips. the female seemed nice, and was interested in herbs much like herself, so day decided that she and coralie would probably get along pretty well. seating herself by cherviltea the feline would observe the returning ex-medicine cat with interest, her bicolored optics wide as they flitted across the sights in front of her.
