Shatter didn't really care about anything Skip had to say, but he still listened, just in case the information would somehow come in handy later. "You're not the only one,"he told Skip, his voice dramatic, "My parents pretty much abandoned me. Guess they didn't appreciate my greatness. But, what can I say? BloodClan"s obviously the best place for just about anyone."The truth was, Shatter's parents had abandoned him the moment he had started getting violent. Shatter had never murdered a cat, but was quite interested in doing so. He supposed his kin were just cowards.

    Shatter's ears instantly pricked at the sound of a voice, and he grew even more excited when he realise it didn't involve him being sent away. He turned around, recognising Moon. He hadn't really formed much of an opinion on the female, but she seemed just a little grumpy... and that was never fun. Maybe he could cheer her up! But, of course, he answered her question first. "Correct - indeed it is!"he waved his tail, full of energy. "Pleasure to meet you, sweetheart. How are things?"Getting to know others was good because, hey, the more you knew, the better!

    Shatter carried on listening, secretly filled with disbelief that a cat was actually having a conversation with him. Wow, it had been a long time. Last real conversation he'd had? A fight with his parents a few moons back, right before they abandoned him. He never even really thought of his parents anymore, well, at the very least, he had no opinion on them. Other beings, to Shatter, were merely toys. Most of the time. It was obvious Moon wasn't doing well. Shatter could feel it. And he had heard the last thing Moon had said, but had decided to ignore it for now. "So, how do you like BloodClan?"He got the feeling that both of them were pretty new, so, it might actually be kinda, strangely nice to hear what Moon thought.

    //lol, now that would be weird

    Could Rose and Shatter have a thread? I'm curious to see what would happen there.

    Aww, that sucks. I can understand why you're worried. I often find that stuff just turns up when you least expect it, so the best advice an unhelpful person like me can give is to try to forget about it, and then hopefully get a pleasant surprise when it suddenly appears. Yeah... my help is the best.

    Shatter let out an almost silent snort. It seemed some BloodClanners really were softies... which somehow managed to warm his otherwise non existent heart. Rose seemed pretty sweet, plus Skip seemed happy to see her. The nuzzling was a light sickening though, and he rolled his eyes. He was slightly annoyed at how none of the cats seemed to care basically at all about him. Wasn't this Shatter's purpose? To entertain? "How sweet,"he said, the sarcasm incredibly evident in his voice. Then he shook himself. "Nah, really. It's just a little touching."

    Something rumbled in Shatter's throat - not quite a purr, but a noise of pleasure. Pleasure that hadn't actually come from another's pain. It felt horrible and wrong, but he certainly couldn't remember the last time he made someone, well, smile. It had probably been that elderly twoleg he had lived with for a few moons, but he couldn't really be sure. "Ah, ShadowClan? They're just about as flawed as the other Clans, way too... innocent and blind. Always only seeing half of the truth. It's pretty amusing though - especially that you came from there."He chuckled, not really caring if he came off as rude.

    //haha, sure

    Sure Shatter and Spear can have a thread! You make or me?

    And okay Rose, I'll make it right away. Excuse how horrible it'll be though!

    Shatter certainly knew what he was doing. He wasn't just walking around annoying cats for the sake of it. Oh, no, he was doing it because it was fun. Unfortunately, it seemed a lot of cats didn't share his idea of, well, fun. Everyone just seemed to be in a pretty terrible mood. But why would they be? They had unwelcoming streets, lots of trash... what was there not to love?

    But secretly, the black and white tom really wanted a friend. But he'd never really had a friend before, and he had no idea how that even worked. Did you talk to them? Hunt with them? Shatter was actually pretty intelligent, but he frankly had no idea.

    Shatter let out a laugh at Skip. Okay, maybe she was just a little amusing, and most kits were annoying furballs anyway. And as for Shatter? Well, he was a full grown cat, and still an annoying furball. Hey - at least he had more intelligence than some pathetic fluffy kitten. "Me? Be sweet?"he teased. "I hope you're not forgetting who I am, love! Well... despite the fact that I'm not very well known, but besides the point! You really think I could be... sweet?"He grinned.

    Haha, if you say so! And thanks, Spear!

    There was a small sight on the tom's face at the sight of Rose. She seemed pretty nice - certainly one of the friendlier cats in BloodClan. And friendly was good. Shatter liked friendly. His tail and head were held high as he approached, showing only a tiny bit of nervousness that he surprisingly found impossible to hide. "Hi, random cat!"he teased, a playful glint in his stunning golden eyes. "How are things?"He asked with a smile.

    Fluff? Shatter instinctively looked at himself to make sure his fur wasn't messed up, then sighed, mentally realising how stupid he actually was. "Oh, I guess I might,"he meowed, moving closer to Skip, "If you took the time to look. Which, naturally, any car would. Oh, and as for knowing me? Well, you hopefully will soon."It was true. Shatter wanted friends, and he was ready to take on the challenge of befriending just about anyone. He didn't want to seem desperate, however, and all of that might end up hopeless when they found out how cruel he could actually be.

    "A pleasure to meet you, Rosemary,"he let out what was half a purr. Yup, this cat did actually seemed pretty nice. He knew BloodClan weren't all cruel and heartless! Even this cat's actions as she spoke quite pleased him. "Haha! That's me! Shatter, the great!"He was secretly a little surprised that this cat even had remembered his name. It made him feel warm inside - for about half a second.
