[fancypost bgcolor=transparent; bordercolor=transparent; text-align: left;] One could never take away the joy that Rebel got when he was in the wild. The vast outdoors were his home as well as his only friends. Rebel had jumped from clan-to-clan all of his life and had yet to manage to find any place he truly belonged. Though the great outdoors were great in beauty they certainly did not make for a good conversation. So, as Rebel had decided, he was going to find someplace to stay be it for a night or a year.
Tracking through the harsh wilderness, despite it's positives, was rather tasking on the paws of the Australian shepherd. He had travelled many miles his pads had the proof.
A small black nose sniffed around the rocks and bushes of the Mediterranean lands. Something had to be out here, right? His questions were of course answered by the sight of a barren carcass crucified atop a far away hill. "That certainly doesn't look recent," the blue merle spoke, the hint of an Irish accent slipping into his voice.
The shepherd had gained his slight Irish accent through his father. He'd been raised by the fellow blue Merle and consequently picked up a few of his habits.
Flicking his long, fluffy tail Rebel trotted his way up the hill which at once been leagues away. He stood on his new perch and looked out to the land beyond the mysterious corpse. "Hello?" Rebel barked into the distance, his voice echoing in the land below.
