[align=justify][font='Times New Roman, Times, serif'][size=12]He could practically feel the surprise and indignation dripping from Taboa, but Six refused to meet her gaze, and slowed only a fraction as she headed after him. He disliked the feeling of having someone walk behind him: it made his skin crawl, and he wanted to unsheathe his claws. Before Taboa could catch up, the black cat had stopped and spun around, waiting for her. What was wrong? He wanted to laugh and cry, but instead the ebony tom settled for staring his mate straight in the eye, expression as uncaring as he could manage. "I don't want you to touch me," he repeated steadily, voice a hiss, as though that answered anything. "I don't want you. Leave me be." He moved slightly, tensing, preparing himself for the possibility that this dismissal would anger her enough to attack.

[align=justify][font='Times New Roman, Times, serif'][size=12]Six spent little enough time in the camp. The place bustled with BloodClanners, and it set his teeth on edge. More often, the newly returned BloodClanner spent his time on the streets, as they'd all done in the days before the warehouse. It was no safer, but it was easier to remember the danger that way.As it happened, he was in the hotel was Sheogorath returned, helping Sanguine drag a large goose. Another time, he might have admired the effort that must have been put into the catch, but right now, Six was just watching to see where they were headed. Not toward him, it seemed, but he didn't relax.
Despite Sheogorath's call, the black male didn't head over to partake in the feast. Taboa was already feasting on the goose, but Six would not eat something he hadn't caught with his own teeth and claws. He was not as relaxed as he'd once been. He knew better now.

Ooh, I should hit up those clans as well!
Tab could have a litter but I need to speak with Pounce about things first. So far Tab's children have been rlly inconsistant.
I think Six and Tab would need to talk first - unless they were conceived before he was attacked?
ehh what do you mean?

Oh, yeah, that works c:

[align=justify][font='Times New Roman, Times, serif'][size=12]By Rosemary's standards, Six had left everyone. The feline's heart still stirred for Taboa, but the feelings were overshadowed by his fear and paranoia. As Rose would find when she bumped into the male, Taboa was not the only one he didn't want touching.Despite the wounds that threatened to open, nearly as soon as Rosemary had jumped back, Six sprang toward her, eyes dark and slitted, attempting to claw the familiar she-cat along her face. Her touch may have been accidental, but he doubted that, and he was more than willing to teach her a lesson.

[align=justify][font='Times New Roman, Times, serif'][size=12]Pit battles. He remembered these. He'd started these. Six had been sitting alone, as he so often did these days, when he heard the sounds of his fellow BloodClanners. Taboa's voice was so achingly familiar, and it was almost enough to make him head toward her—but the thought that she might have hurt him stopped him. He proceeded slowly, hesitantly, until he was seated besides Molag Bal—a cat who would find him more pathetic than ever before in his current state.Six's gaze shifted toward Taboa, sharpening as he saw Aloe take a seat besides her. Jealousy flashed through him, and he half rose, ready to stalk over, before doubt filled his mind. He'd been recovering for so long. Perhaps Taboa didn't care. For all he knew, she never had, and she had just been playing him.
A gasping sound falling from his maw, the black tom froze and reluctantly sat down again.

[align=justify][font='Times New Roman, Times, serif'][size=12]Tributes. Gifts for Sheogorath. Two moos ago, Six would have scoffed, but the Six from two moons ago was a very different Six than the current one. The skinny ebony tom tended to avoid the hotel, with all of its hustle and bustle, but he couldn't keep himself completely segregated. Every so often, he found himself among the rest of BloodClan, body tense and eyes shifting uneasily, wondering if an attack would come. So far, none had, but maybe they were waiting for him to get comfortable again. To settle down.Despite his confusion, Six was more or less content to ignore the proceedings. Or, at least, not to join in: if that was where the majority of the BloodClanners were, he could not completely ignore it. His ears were tilted toward the group; Six had to admit, he was fascinated by the proceedings.
Sheogorath's joke about Taboa was loud enough to echo through the lobby. Whether or not he was paying attention, Six would have heard it. Despite his lack of trust for the calico female, he disliked the idea that she would sleep with someone else, and almost instinctively, his lips drew back and a vaguely threatening sound rose from his throat.
Nearly as soon as he was aware of it, Six quieted down, but he couldn't make his fur lie flat. Taboa's response did little to ease his discomfort—who was to say that she meant him?—and a dark look settled over his features.

[align=justify][font='Times New Roman, Times, serif'][size=12]Night had descended over the hotel. That certainly didn't mean that its residents had all settled down, for BloodClan was a clan that never slept, but it was marginally quieter than during the day. It was at this time that Six made his way back to the hotel. Aside from the infrequent trip, he spent most of his time stalking the city streets. He'd gone back to living behind a dumpster, as they'd done in the days before Sheogorath's first leadership. He'd made the solitary life his own.The hallways of the upper level hadn't changed since Six had moved the group to the hotel, but he wasn't sure where the cats he wanted slept. He'd considered following their scents, but they crisscrossed everywhere, making that impossible. Who had he come to see? Something had given the dark tom the idea to seek Taboa out, although he would have been satisfied with Sheogorath. They were the two cats who knew him best, and if he could bring himself to trust one of them, Six would sleep a good deal more easily.

[align=justify][font='Times New Roman, Times, serif'][size=12]As he picked up the soft sounds of someone approaching, Six's first instinct was to tense up. Let it not be said that he was an unintelligent cat, though, despite his paranoia. He recognized that, since returning, he'd been going about everything wrong. He'd made a mistake, but he wouldn't continue to. Rather than shy away from others, it was better to embrace them, to act as though he didn't worry. Like a spy, he would work to act natural, and in that way, perhaps he'd manage to learn something. So no, Six didn't leap for Rosemary's throat. What had set him off before was her touch, and the feeling of fur against his own. She must also have learned from past mistakes, for she made no move to touch him. For a split second, he simply stared at her, eyes cold and hard, like two icy chips of green stone, before a smile split across his face, loose and relaxed, and he let out a low purr.
"Hello, Rosie," Six began, working to keep his tone friendly. However hard he tried, he couldn't keep the watchful edge from his gaze, but perhaps she wouldn't notice. "You're looking good." Of course she was. She wasn't the one who had nearly been killed a few moons earlier. Lowering his voice and attempting to play to her vanity, he added, "Better than I remember."
He had tilted his head toward her, and now he drew back. As he did, his gaze flew past her lean figure, landing on Molag Bal. For a moment, his heartbeat quickened. Could he....no. Don't get scared. Don't worry. Be as cold and hard as a steel bar during winter. Reluctantly pulling his gaze back to Rose, Six admitted, "I thought of you while I was...away. Didn't expect to see you again." He swallowed dryly. "Or anyone else."

[align=justify][font='Times New Roman, Times, serif'][size=12]Liar. The thought flickered across Six's mind, cold and hard and fast, and for a moment he was on edge again. It took forceful effort to lie his fur down and pretend that nothing was wrong. "I'm glad to hear that," he told her. He glanced around the room, taking care to keep Rosemary in the corner of his eye just in case, and added, "BloodClan's different."
