Honestly I would have to go back to the thread about this to see the exact reasoning. Basically, the quality of roleplaying across the site had gone up, and the advanced boards were lacking in activity, and in order to create a more effeciant staff, they did away with advanced bios/promoted CAs to mods.

I'm not quite sure why the advanced boards are there, I'm not totally up to date about it. But they can still be used for people who want a more advanced rp--remembering that literate doesn't always mean those who can write really long--and you can always put on your thread 'advanced', etc. :]

But you'd have to ask an upper staff for the exact reasoning, again, I'm a bit out of date and I'd need to dig up the notice about it :]
