Scar, panting with exhaustion and pain, wobbled a bit as her paws shook. Hissing at Blood and the others, she snarled, "I'm far from dying Blood! I'm even surprised you're going easy on me! Just you wait! I'll be back!
I swear it by my big brother's loving soul! You'll all see! You'll all see!" With an insane laugh, she leaned close to the kit. "Try me..." she whispered with a smirk.

Scar lifted her head and gasped, finding her new self to always say the wrong things at the wrong time. With a shove to the kit, she staggered to her paws and limped as fast as she could, fleeing fast and dragging her broken leg with her. Clenching her teeth in pain, she let out a yowl as she ran, warning them as she picked up Squeak's knife.

Scar let out a screech and fell into the ground and gave a gasp. Her eye twitched and her fur spiked and she let out a few moans as she fell over. Squeak's knife had fallen into her chest and she struggled for air. Reaching for the knife with a bloody paw,she stared up at her enemies, blood drippling from her lips.

Gasping and breathing hard, she wiggled weakly. Her mind and body ached in pain and her eyes blurred with blood along with her lips. Coughing and spluttering, she stared at Blood as she continued to try and breathe. Panting, she seemed to have a pleading in her eyes for her to stop. Please...Blood....I'm not ready to die... Scar pleaded, her thoughts shining in her eyes. She tried to reach for the knife once more, but even if she got it out, her life would be fatal.

Feather stared at Scar from a distance, tears welling up in her eyes. She might not have liked Scar very much but Feather could never hate another cat. She raced toward Blood, trying to stop her.

With a loud yowl and screech, she coughed and spluttered, blood bursting from her mouth and stomach. Lurching over in pain and shock, her eye rolled back into her head and she collapsed, breathing hard. Staying strong, she lifted her head to glare at Blood. "Get away from me Blood! Leave me alone!" she snarled and struggled, trying to get out of her enemies grasp.

Scar didn't say another word but her chest heaved but no breath came out. With a small and dying whisper, Scar said her last words. "G...Go on! Stab me to your heart's content! I'll never cry! I must be strong for my big brother! But I'll never cry! See me Squeak? I'm finally being strong! Do you see Squeak? Do you? Just wait Squeak! I will finally not be a bother to you anymore!" As her eye started to cloud over with blood and mist, her eye widened. "Sq...Squeak? Is that you? You look so wonderful with those stars in your fur...I'm so sorry Squeak...please...forgive me..."

Squeak stood by Scar's side, his gleaming white fur shining and sparkling with the stars. His piercing blue eyes looked around him, his eyes filled with grief. He took a step closer to Scar and licked her cheek. With a calm and grieving tone he said, "Dear sister, you were always strong to me...if only those cats had not scarred you...you...you would never have needed to change...Moss...but...I must go...your path is to a different place...you will be with your father and other brother and sister Moss...I'm so sorry it had to end this way..."

With that he started to fade away but before he faded completely he whispered in Blood's ear, "I love you...but it's so hard to see you kill my sister...but I am a forgiving cat...I will watch and protect your family always...if you ever need anything...I will see you in your dreams..." A small jingle ringed through the area, which sounded like a kittypet bell. Licking Scar and Blood's cheek, he faded and a breeze moved the cornfields.

Scar lay, staring at nothing as her eye started to cloud over more. "Wh...What? No...it wasn't supposed to end this way Squeak! Squeak?! Squeak! SQUEAK! DON"T LEAVE ME! PLEASE! I NEED YOU! DON"T LEAVE ME! DON"T..." Scar's lips bubbled and her eye stared at Blood, small tears dribbling down her cheek. "Squeak...No..." were her last words. With a sigh, she collapsed, her eye closing completely and the fur over her right eye moved as her three scars over her right eye shone.

And Scar, the poor kit who had been scarred all her life and had grown to be just like her father and family, was....dead.

Feather came wobbling over to Scar, tears gently falling from her eyes. She nosed Scar, trying to wake her up. She looked at Blood, a little scared at what Blood had done. Feather did not like violence at all and refused to see through to it. Backing away a bit, she continued to paw at Scar.

Feather said nothing as she lay down. Shock and grief clouded her eyes as she looked down, clearly upset. She had lost her sister Ocean, a father-figure Squeak, one of her family Knife, and an old friend who's innocent heart had been scarred, Scar. This was too much for a kit like Feather to handle. She might be different but that didn't mean she was not sensitive.

Meanwhile, paw-steps could be heard through the area.

Feather lifted her head, her eyes blank. Showing no sign of life in her eyes, she curled up and buried her head in her fluffy tail. She had heard paw-steps that sounded familiar but not the new ones her family had heard. She knew who it was but decided not to say anything as the jingle of a kittypet bell started to fade. Feather was starting to take the impact of death and if she kept going like this, she would end up like her sister...
