No reason to stand at the border and sigh longingly at a clan that barely knew him anymore. Still perhaps he just wanted to see with his own eyes what had become of it in the years he'd been gone. Maybe he'd rejoin one day, or maybe not, it all just depended on how he felt. This could be considered his uh, trial period.
    The chocolate tomcat approached the border with one of his trademarked smiles. Should either be a moment to remember fondly or a horrible horrible mistake. He was going for the latter.

Finding a basket in the territory all on its lonesome? With accessories? This was definitely something he had done before but he wasn't sure how long. Still even if this was something he'd done before he wanted to show it off. Sure conjuration was a thing but anything conjured was... it lacked that realness to it that he craved.
    He let go of the handle and gasped for air briefly. He really shouldn't have tried to bring this over in this body, he could've easily switched to his tiger one and carried it over with ease. Maybe he just lived for that struggle.
    "Check it out guys I found some accessories in the territory! Wonder who might've abandoned them haha."

Snicks didn't like wasting his time on pointless endeavors and if visiting was pointless well then he didn't wanna bother and he'd head back home.

He liked to play the "randomizer" game where he'd look off to the side and the first thing he grabbed that intrigued him he'd take out. After a moment of moving things around he grabbed something plastic and excitedly pulled it out. He was quickly as disappointed by his find as he was excited. It was... a duckbill. A fake duckbill. Well he'd grabbed it so it was his now. He put the plastic mask on and turned back to Caleb. "Whoever left it must've been on the run or somethin'. Couldn't take it with them maybe?"

    The warrior flinched at her tone, ears flattening against the top of his skull and tail tucking underneath him. So she too was going through something similar. Or at least, he could empathize with her feelings. Taking a moment to regain his composure, the canine sighed and took a seat beside her. "You know, Kiipcha, you're smart. If I could bring them back for you I would, but I can't and I'm sorry. I understand what you're going through. It must be tough, losing the people you care about. Damn is it tough." If he hadn't already wasted his tears for this years ago then maybe he could shed a tear, "The best you can do though is stay strong and live for them. Live for the missing, live for the dead. Don't let the world win."

Snickersbar supposed in its own way that yes it was indeed the very picture of a scandal but it wasn't that interesting. Not like he hadn't seen or been apart of worse. Still he shrugged it off and proceeded to go about his day.

When he sat beside her he thought she'd yell at him, but perhaps her thoughts are too jumbled right now. Oh Shadowclan. How he missed it. Not the new one, but the old one, the one from his lifetime. Would Fading hate him just as much if she knew that he used to lead Shadowclan? Oh how funny that would be. He wouldn't mind telling Kiipcha, if just to make her feel a little less lonely. To be the only one with Shadowclan relations here, to be targeted based on that well it was a lonely life indeed then. Snickersbar hesitantly placed a paw on her shoulder in a comforting manner.
    "If Fading does come after you... I can be there to protect you, if you want. You have your life still and the friends you made, yeah? Some people... some people never get the opportunity. If Skyclan goes to war with Shadowclan it'll be a massacre. We could try and convince the others that it's a bad idea and tell Fading as a group. But if you're scared on how to handle yourself against this uh, Mogeko, I can try and teach you how to fight. Being raised in Shadowclan myself, I picked up a few fighting techniques that Proclans like this aren't too keen on using." Peeling his attention from the ground and focusing it on her, he sighed, "Kiipcha I'm not going to say you'll feel better right away. I'm not gonna say you have no reason to cry because you do and you've been through a lot and are dealing with a lot. But you gotta focus those negative feelings on another outlet. Find something you love to do. Use it to your advantage. You'll still feel the pain sometimes but... eventually you won't need to cry anymore."

He swore his fit of giggles was done but then Paletone had gotten herself into a rather sparkly situation and he was positive he was dying now. He liked the concept of lanterns; they were interesting and the paper used to make them was generally rather lovely. Sometimes they had patterns and sometimes they were simple. The one he obtained was simple but it was still beautiful in its own way and he chirped happily to himself upon further inspection of it. "Yeah, thanks! When should we get this adventure underway?"

The tomcat exclaimed dramatically as he turned to the paint covered hybrid.

He thought on it a brief moment before smiling at her, "Yeah, I was leader for a bit. And I knew a few of those guys. Radioactiveplague, Spanishlullaby, Setekh, aha I might've met Sango once or twice but I doubt she knows of me. The rest I've never met sorry about that." He shook his head and his smile fell momentarily. You know this was probably the first time he'd ever seen her smile since he joined and he felt it was unfair. She had a nice smile and he thought it now, but she should smile more often. "I wouldn't have offered if I didn't wanna Kiipcha." He replied with a nod, listening to her explain her situation. Ah. That must've hurt and he could understand that well enough. "Training's tough, I'll admit it, but I'm sorry for everything truly. I'm sure Phan was a good guy and being chosen to train under someone influential is always stressful. I remember even my own apprentices couldn't handle it haha." He was getting off-topic and he cleared his throat before proceeding, "Yeah. It is. But you've got a good head on your shoulders and you're strong, you can do it."

Maybe he'd just go retrieve that duckbill, try and make her laugh if he could. The chocolate tomcat bounded over towards his discarded accessory and equipped it, quickly turning back around to Kiipcha. "Look look. See I'm a duck. I'm a cat duck. A dat. Or wait.. A caduck. Quack quack meow."
