    Twistedpath smiled at the other warrior as she sat beside him. She was so kind, so caring. Taking in a deep breath he decided that keeping it in wasn't healthy. "It;s just...I wish I could have done something, you know? I wish I would have been here, that way I could have maybe saved her from herself...saved and protected me like she had done all those moons ago with me. But instead I was in some twolegs nest, healing from their herbs and my wound" he said moving his stump of a leg back and forth before sighing.

    He smiled at her kind words and found much comfort from them. She was right after all. She had been suffering for a long time and she was finally at peace. He breathed in the cool air and slowly let it out, now feeling like he could breath and that the world wasn't closing in around him anymore. "Thank you, Swanflight. You are truly a good cat and I hope Starclan grants you everything you ever ask for" he said with a smile and a gentle lick on her cheek to show he was truly grateful.

    His eyes widened and quickly he scrambled off the she-cat. "Ah-ehem yeah...um it's this way" he said with a nervous and embarrassed nod of his head towards her territory. What are you doing, twisted! You're being a total creep! He punished himself as he begain limping off towards Darkclan.

    The young tom smiled and nodded his head. "Yeah that sounds nice." Standing up he hadn't noticed how tall he was until he stood beside the she-cat. He hoped she didn't find it intimidating or weird, but then again his height wasn't the only weird thing about him.

    He laughed. She was really something. "No it's okay! I probably should have gotten off once I saw you where no threat". As they walked he couldn't help but noticed she was taking an awfuly long time. And for an odd reason he didn't mind. "It;s been crazy, thats for sure" she replied to her question about his life. He wasn't sure if he should really tell her about himself, for one day he could see her in battle, but on the other paw he really wanted to get to know this she cat.

    Twistedpath was close in pursuit, a smile on his maw and his nightmare was now in the back of his mind. She soon caught up with the beautiful she-cat. He hand't hunted in a while and was glad to be out of the camp.

    Twistedpath had been out on a hunting trip way before the sun threatened to shot its face. He knew the clan needed to be fed so he wanted to wake early and fill the pile before the others woke. Dropping a few vole and two mice in the fresh kill pile. He sighed with relief, knowing his deed had been done.


    Trudging back to the warriors den he decided he was going to sleep for a while before the others woke. Limping into the den he noticed his close friend, Swanflight in a panicked state. "Hey there, Swanflight. What happened. Are you okay?" he asked with noticeable concern for his friend

    The tom chuckled at her response. "Well come on. Lets go get some fresh air and see if we can't get you feeling better". With a flick of his tail he turned around and headed back to the entrance, waiting for her to follow him.

    Moving his tail up to cover her maw he chuckled and hushed her. "I would never be able to live with myself if I didn't return the favor" As they walked out into the clearing the once dark sky began to lighten wiht the rising sun, letting him know morning was approaching soon. He didn't mind though. He was very fond of this she-cat and he didn't mind spending time with her
