How was Asteria supposed to know that littering the ground with bones, blood, skin, and flowers was considered morbid and inhumane? Nobody had ever told her otherwise, and it always led to pretty little outcomes, so it wasn't like she would stop.

This time, an odd design was formed on the ground with an array of blackbird parts, which she had gathered by hunting, and then dismemberment. Bones, blood, and feathers littered the shore, just out of reach of the waves lapping against the sand. In the center of the design sat Asteria, murmuring something in an old eldritch language, with her eyes shut and the tiny luminescent spots on her pelt glowing brightly as they did when she was spellcasting. She looked relaxed, her tail curled up around her paws and hand at the end of her tail tip grasping gently at her right foreleg.

What an odd spectacle.

As the trance became deeper and deeper, sped along by the lulling rumble of the waves lapping away at the sand, the parts began to float, if not only a few inches off the ground, and she was close to completion-

And then it stopped.

Bright yellow eyes snapping open, the girl turned to Prettyboy, the medic, the one who interrupted her spell. Fighting back an irritated grumble (she had always hated it when her spells were cut off), she forced a smile to her face, bearing pearly white shark-like fangs as she usually did. Hard to be sweet when you looked the way she did, though. "Hey! My name is Asteria, I was, uh, trying to see if I could bring this bird back to life...but I guess I can't anymore, since the first attempt is the only one I get. That's okay though! Who are you?" She sounded cheery, although it was hard to discern whether her voice sounded more feminine or masculine.

Bounding over quickly, carrying herself just as well as a set of paws would, Asteria used all three of her hands to scoop up balloons and hurl one at each person there, before diving behind a small tree that had managed to take root in the sand. A smile lined her face, shamelessly revealing all of her clean, shark-like fangs, in a more innocent and childish manner. "Get me if you ca-an!" She sang, giggling cheerily- this was fun.

Bounding over, a furious scowl on her face, Asteria scanned the battlefield with fire in her eyes and a growl forming in her throat. Asteria was there next, tail flicking back and forth lazily as the hand on its tip waved at the others. Taking a seat and using her hand to brush out her fur as she waited for the lesson to start, the Ahuizotl stared between Keiji and Suga. They were both so tiny compared to her- it was actually sort of adorable. A small, amused chuckle escaped her lips as she closed her eyes and laid down. It was a blatant show of boredom, but she would sit up when the time came for them to actually speak.

I don't have a great ref, but Asteria is a leopard with dark grey fur and light grey spots that has human hands as front paws, and a 4-5 foot long tail with a large, clawed human hand as its tip. The hands have fur, just like the rest of her body, and her eyes are pale+dull yellow
