Of course, he had been planning to turn him down on the extra workload, but he was far too submissive, not even barely getting a word out of his mouth before he had shoved him out the door. Everyone told him he needed to stop being that way, but to be honest, he couldn't really help it. Maybe he needed to go to a class or something for it...
"Don't worry about it Saph. I'll take care of this." The brit would say, dipping his mop in the water and not waiting to hear her reply before he started to wipe it up. To be honest, he didn't really think it was fair to dump jobs like this on the young employees so out of the kindness in his heart, he tried to help them out whenever he could. Of course, this was bad news for any cats with long or black fur.
Today was one of those days and it had driven Arthur to the lake once more, this time for an obviously different reason. Normally, he wasn't a huge fan of swimming, but when it was hot like this, he had to admit it was nice to dip into the water a little bit.
With that, Arthur placed his glasses on the shore and would slowly walk into the water until it was deep enough where he had to kick his feet to keep himself afloat. Swimming around for a bit, he dipped under a few times to get himself completely wet before going back to the shallower part so he could stand, smiling and shaking himself off a bit.
No way, was the trainee... smiling? This couldn't be the same Arthur, could it?
