Arthur was tired of running.
But it seemed that very soon, he wouldn't have to anymore. He hoped. What was he running from? That was a story for another time.
Right now, he was looking for his brother, Zacharie. Arthur hadn't spoken to him in a while, specifically before the masked feline had gone and joined a clan called 'BlizzardClan'. Perhaps this place would provide him with the cover he needed- if anything, temporary cover.
The oriental cat would let out a tired sigh as he reached the top of the stairs, sitting down for a moment to catch his breath. After adjusting his glasses, he would call out, "H-Hello? Is anyone there?"

He hadn't brought much with him, just a cracked cricket bat, some first-aid stuff, and... oh dear. Had he forgotten...?
"Sparky?" He would call his only friend's name, looking around. Something green flickered in the corner of his eye and he turned his head sharply to spot the giant day gecko sitting on the ground, watching him. "There you are! You had me worried, you little devil." Arthur scolded the gecko, walking over and extending a paw so Sparky could climb onto it. "I've got one more thing to do before we can finally settle, so you'll have to stay here alone for a while, alright?" The tom would tell him, setting him back onto the ground. "I'll be back in a bit." With that, he walked outside, letting out a sigh.
This was never his favorite thing about being in a new place, but it had to be done if he wanted to make any friends here- or at least get to know some people. He hadn't done it in a long time, so hopefully he wouldn't screw it up. Sitting down outside his hut, Arthur adjusted his glasses. "Uh, meet and greet, anyone?" The oriental called out.

Lying in the shade of a tree in camp, the oriental let out a sigh. Heh, it seemed like he was becoming more and more like his brother each day. Zach hated the heat too.
There was a small pain that arose in his heart as soon as he thought of him and he shoved the thoughts away, frowning and putting his head down on his paws. He felt so guilty for not spending enough time with him. What kind of a little brother was he?
But... perhaps Zacharie would come back? He had to! He did that one time, after all... he had to remain hopeful.
Letting out another sigh, Arthur would let his hazel eyes slide to his right to gaze upon a small cricket, which had hopped it's way over to him and was now staring at him curiously with it's tiny black eyes. "Shoo." Arthur would say softly, raising his head to blow some air at the cricket, causing it to leap away in alarm.
