/ignore sub, in the middle of ceremonies lmao

    sososo
theres not a guide for ceremonies and tbh, I forgot all the sayings
I just need what to say for kit-apprentice ceremonies, apprentice-warrior, name change, and mentor?
aka everythingbut the intro of course

[center][fancypost=border-width:0px; width: 465px; text-align: justify; font-family: verdana; font-size: 8.4pt; line-height: 1.4;]His second meeting. A slow ball the first one had been, trying to roll up a slope with gentle nudges. But he was determined to do better this time. Full force, he'd push that ball up the slope quickly and all in one go.

Trotting out of his den, he took a look around the empty camp as he realized that patrols mightve been off. How awesome, he'd have a few late chickens to this party. Not like that was particularly out of the ordinary or anything, in fact, he was late to the majority of meetings that the previous leaders had held. Not at all unordinary. So, he chose to go ahead and start. Pouncing onto the highrock as he gazed down onto the marshes with his single green eye. Up here, he could see farther than normal. A huge ego boost bestowed upon him each time his four paws gracefully landed on the rock.

"All cats old enough to stalk in the shadows, gather beneath the highrock for a clan meeting!" He announced, his voice booming across his territory. It was a pleasant feeling to know that everyone could hear you from up there, no particular reason why. "Shadowclan, I will begin this meeting by announcing some important matters. First off, Thunderclan has been on our bad side recently, if you spot any 'hunderclanners around the border, make sure they dont cross. Secondly, despite my warning in the last meeting; Shadowclan has been fighting on the inside a lot. I will not stand for this! If you have a problem with the way things run, take it up with my claws. Otherwise, sit down and shut your maw. Finally, I will leave Shadowclan in a bit to travel to Bloodclan," he let the words soak in for a moment. "I will be requesting an alliance, or re-alliance, similar to the one we had in the past. This means, we will be on good terms with Bloodclan if it runs smoothly. In short, we dont attack Bloodclan and they dont attack us, instead, we help eachother."

That was it for the big announcements, he supposed. The Bloodclan-thing was something he was relieved and terrified to do. He never took easily to the blood-soaked clan, but neither had anyone else outside of them. He was traumatized after his eye was taken by them, so it was only reasonable that he'd avoid war with them. "Now onto ceremonies, beginning with my daughters. Snowkit, Cherrykit, and Crowkit, step forward, please," he announced with a gentle smile. Looking down at the formed npc-crowd and locking his eyes on them if they showed up. "Snowkit, Crowkit, and Cherrykit, you three have reached the age of six moons, and it is time for you to be apprenticed. From this day until you become a warrior, you will be known as Snowpaw, Crowpaw, and Cherrypaw. Your mentors will be Pricklethroat, Nightpaw, and [NPC]. I hope they pass down all they know." Turning to lock eyes with the mentors, assuming they are there. He supposed he had to do Nightpaw's ceremony beforehand, though. "Nightpaw, you are beyond time for your warrior ceremony and for that, I apologize. It is time for you to become a warrior and from this day on, you shall be known as Nightpelt." And back to the mentor-issue, "Pricklethroat, Nightpelt, and [NPC], you three have proven yourself to be ready to take on an apprentice. You have all recieved excellent training that I hope you pass onto your apprentices."

Curling his tail around his paws, he looked for the next apprentice. "Autumnpaw, please step forward," assuming she was there, he'd continue. "Your mentor has yet to be assigned due to multiple reasons. However, I hope Starclan approves my choice in your mentor, today. I will be your mentor and I will pass down my level-headedness and patience onto you." Finished with her, he moved on. "Kite, please step forward," and he'd lock gaze with them, assuming they were there. "Kite, you have past reached six moons but it is time for you to be apprenticed. From this day until your warrior ceremony, your new name will be Heronpaw. Your mentor will be Pricklethroat, whom I hope passes on his knowledge to you." Alright, nexxttt..

    //this is trash but owhale
-if you want a ceremony, please go here to request one!
-each meeting lasts for 2 weeks, please assume this was posted last friday
-SUMMARY: Crowkit-Crowpaw, Snowkit-Snowpaw, Cherrykit-Cherrypaw, your mentors are (in order) Nightpelt, Pricklethroat, and a NPC. (pm me to change) Nightpaw-Nightpelt. Autumnpaw is now Loststar's apprentice. Kite-Heronpaw, now apprentice to Pricklethroat.

[center][fancypost=border-width:0px; width: 465px; text-align: justify; font-family: verdana; font-size: 8.4pt; line-height: 1.4;]Oh goody. Cats seemed to be taking the news well. Sike. The one-eyed feline winced as he was called out before narrowing his eye and looking over the three in particular.

"You've said it yourself, Bloodclan is strong. If your interested in the fact that theyre killers, I can name several cats from each clan whom have killed atleast one or two cats in their lifetime, myself and Snakestar included. But they held an alliance with Riverclan before that was strong, feared by all the clans while it lasted. They didnt attack eachother more than you guys attack your clanmates and honestly, how can we trust any clan to an alliance for certain? The correct answer is we can never one-hundred percent confirm or deny something. Bloodclan is strong, though lacking in numbers a bit, and they place second strongest in the all of the clans, after us and regardless of whether or not theyre actually a 'clan.' I believe this alliance will make us stronger, more feared than we are now. No other clan dare bets on the support of Bloodclan out of fear for their safety, meaning the one who does bet on it will, in a way, be braver and feared by the others. We may be mocked but its better to have two heads than one."

Somehow or another, Loststar had managed to convince Shadowclan into this crazy idea. Every second he got closer, his heart began speeding up. He was on his way to request an alliance with the clan of misfits. What a great idea, right? Wrong. He was dead terrified of bloodclanners. He was traumatized as a child, why wouldnt he be scared? However, he managed to wipe the terrified expression off him as he stepped forward to the city border.

It reeked of monsters and twolegs. A horrid, disgusting smell. But a smell that sent fear flashing through pelts, just like he wanted. "Bloodclan! I need your leader, Sheogorath!" He called out, keeping his eyes open to spot any sign of movement or flash of a pelt. Jeez, he really hated this place. "Ive come to request an alliance between Shadowclan and Bloodclan personally," he continued, taking in a deep breath only to hold it as he looked around for a sign of life.

//rushed but its here, may be late on replying to avoid using my 600th post

[center][fancypost=border-width:0px; width: 465px; text-align: justify; font-family: verdana; font-size: 8.4pt; line-height: 1.4;]Loststar watched as the battle-worn leader walked onto the scene. Call his name and he shall arrive, type of thing. Weird. Though, it appeared his full name was 'Lord Sheogorath', whatever in the dark forest's blazes that meant. He was still going to use it, even if he didnt know what it meant. Better to be kind than rude, or atleast thats what his mother told him. His dad typically said something like 'degrade all those that stand in your way.' Pretty sure he meant 'kill.' Not the best influence.

As quick as the madman arrived, so did two of his kits and another bloodclanner. That wasnt expected, of course. So Lost paid no attention. Or atleast, he tried not to mind when one of the little twerps dared to say he smelled weird then assumed it was bad to smell like him. No mind, no mind. Most cats thought that of other clans.

"Good morning, Lord Sheogorath. I dont believe we've formally met?" He greeted with a small respectful dip of his head. "Loststar, leader of Shadowclan," he introduced before pinning himself back on point. "If thats how you'd like to see the request, feel free to assume so. There are numerous reasons for this request, particularly your influence. You see, Bloodclan is well-known in the clans as something bad, take that as you will, and I want this alliance to strike fear in the other clans' eyes. For Shadowclan, we get fear. For Bloodclan, you'll get numbers in battle, something thats rumored to be a little faint here." With that, he flicked his gaze to each of the arrived members before shifting his single eye back onto the god. "I assume you have a few terms of acceptance?"

[center][fancypost=border-width:0px; width: 465px; text-align: justify; font-family: verdana; font-size: 8.4pt; line-height: 1.4;]Was this a punishment? Perhaps. For his past, for his incapability to lead? Maybe for declaring an alliance with Bloodclan. What was the cause of this fire? A random wildfire or was there something more? Who was the cause of this fire? His gut said Starclan but he found himself thinking otherwise. Why was there a fire? That, he may never know. All he knew was he was near where the fire started, he saw the fire begin to rawr and couldnt move. His paws were glued to the marsh floor beneath him.

Staring up at the raging red flames, his instincts told him 'run.' Yet, he didnt move. He only watched as the flames grew, reaching closer to him until they scorched the tips of his grey pelt black. From there, he slowly began backing up. His eyes wide as he watched the burning colors. Slowly and slowly inhaling more smoke. At the opposite speed, he was quickly growing a cough. The feeling of being kicked in his lungs arose and he suddenly saw the world go black.

He was dead. His first life ripped away from him as he could only watch the fire.

When he awoke, he wasnt in Shadowclan's burning marshes but a more peaceful plains, Starclan. Looking around, his eyes scanned for anyone near by whom he could ask to send him back. He didnt want to be the loser leader who watched his clanmates die. He couldnt. He wanted, no, needed to help them. It was his job and his instinct.

Lucky for him, a smaller siamese sat nearby, burning her gaze onto his pelt. He lunged forward to ask her questions and interrogate on why it happened. But similar to his death, he couldnt move. "Its not your fault, Loststar. Dont worry yourself over why it happened or who caused it. Just know that you have lost a life, one that was wasted when you couldve took action. Dont hold yourself down for that, either though. Instead, use your remaining eight to lead your clan through the thick and thin. Until later, mister leader."

With that, he woke up, staggering as he stood. Starclan healed any burns he got while..dead, but the cough in his throat remained. However, he managed to run to the camp, jumping past the entrance that was set ablaze.. "Everyone but the warriors! Out now! We'll get the elders and kits out! You guys run for a safe part of the marshes! Make an opening in the camp somewhere else, where its safer, then leave that way!" He yelled in a raspy voice, praying it was loud enough for everyone outside and in the camp to hear over the blazes.

    REQUESTS FOR THE DAY 5.5.17
-SOMEONE MAKE A PATROL BACK INTO THE BURNED CAMP TO SCOPE THINGS OUT
-SOMEONE MAKE A BUILDING TEMP. CAMP THREAD IN THE MARSHES

[center][fancypost=border-width:0px; width: 465px; text-align: justify; font-family: verdana; font-size: 8.4pt; line-height: 1.4;]Border patrols always seemed to go wrong somehow. Be it due to Shadowclan's ignorance or the other clan's. They just always seemed to be a lose-lose.

Padding up to the group with long strides, he relaxed a bit to see Windclan. No matter how much he tried to act tough, he had a weak spot for his mother's clan. It was reflex to enjoy the scent of rabbit and wind peacefully, even if that was wrong for the shadowclan leader. "Calm down, Jaggedsight, they havent touched our territory yet," he corrected the medicine cat with a frown before turning to Asterstorm. "Border patrol, yes?"

ahh guess who got sick ;'''''')
will prob not respond much tonight, stomach is killer ://

    ah ok
so Ive been deciding on a few things. Firstly, there will be no more weekly meetings. They will be monthly now bc tbh, the weekly ones make me feel pressured af and drop my muse really badly. Second, no more weekly tasks IC either. There will, however, be OOC weekly tasks. I ask that Ly helps me set these up since she rps the dep. The OOC weekly tasks will, in short, be mini-dev plots. Things like 'make your character have a new fear' or 'have your character find something theyre allergic to.' Nothing big, just small things to help muse. This was due to a little insight from some ext. members that was true af. IC weekly tasks are usually the same and only get 10 replies, at most. So, we're ditching them now. Thirdly, we will begin OOC song prompts as well. These are different than weekly tasks but along the same line. In short, the song-giver tells you a song and, if you have the muse for it, make a [mini]dev based off of it.
there was more too but I forgot lmao

[center][fancypost=border-width:0px; width: 465px; text-align: justify; font-family: verdana; font-size: 8.4pt; line-height: 1.4;]Shadowclan. Quiet and sneaky. They survived in the shadows, where the light didnt hit. They were the villains, crossing the street and sneaking up behind old women to rob them. Bulky, strong, and dark-pelted. If one was coming towards you, your instinct should tell you to run.

Loststar had the personality of a Shadowclanner and the body of a mixed blood. He was lean, long-legged, but what little he had on him, there was muscle with it. His pelt was a silver-grey, the color of stars cloaked behind foggy clouds. His eyes, or eye, was a dark green that once bounced with innocence. With his appearance, he was able to run, attack quickly and still remain silent and hidden in the shadows. He was proud of that.

So, he flaunted it. Passing by the warriors and medicine cats quickly, he swerved past them with ease. Then gracefully leaped on top of his branch with the other leaders. Sitting down slowly as his eye flickered around, making note of everyone's attendance. With the exception of Windclan, which he wasnt surprised about really, he seemed to be the last to arrive of the leaders. Turning towards the chatting Foreststar and Cougarstar, he dipped his head respectfully. "Congratulations on becoming leader," he mewed under a cover of politeness. He was sick of Thunderclanners, in all honesty. With the fight on the border, which made both sides aware of the other's hatred, and the fire, which he could only suspect was their neighbors, he was on edge with them. If it came down to it, he had Bloodclan on his side. Speaking of Bloodclan, he made note to return to the city dwellers to reconfirm their alliance after this.

//my bad, got held up - sorta rushed

[center][fancypost=border-width:0px; width: 465px; text-align: justify; font-family: verdana; font-size: 8.4pt; line-height: 1.4;]Loststar was there because, well, he was a father. Fathers should check on their children, right? So, there he was. Poking his head in after Jadefeather to check for his own kids. "Little bird, Sweets, Kiddo?" He called out before landing his gaze on the two friends in the back of the nursery. Then, the two warriors attempting at a subtle interaction. His eye glazed over with curiosity as he pulled the rest of his long, muscular body in. Which, by the way, was a very tight squeeze. "Good day, kittos."

[center][fancypost=border-width:0px; width: 465px; text-align: justify; font-family: verdana; font-size: 8.4pt; line-height: 1.4;]//lets pretend this was done on the 1st, go to the bottom for a summary

It was full moon, the time Lost had appointed for his monthly meetings. This time around, he didnt have too much to say. Which, believe it or not, was a good thing. His roleplayer was lazy and quite frankly, Lost wasnt one for speaking until his voice died anyways. He glided through camp quickly and leaped atop the high rock before turning towards the camp. "Shadowclan! All those old enough to catch a frog, gather beneath the highrock for a meeting."

First, he'd do announcements. Well, thats how it always was so making a note to do that didnt matter. But well, whatever. Second, he'd do mentor-apprentice appointments. Finally, promotions. It was his cycle now, as it had been for his previous meetings so far. He'd like to stick to it, somehow.

"First, I must announce our affairs with the other clans. We have joined an alliance with Bloodclan, on the point that our clans will help eachother in battle. That being said, Bloodclan is planning a fight against Riverclan with our help. I only want those nine moons and older to attend, so be sure to sharpen up your skills. I will be asking the mentors later on if their apprentices are ready to fight. They've allowed us time to prepare but I did not get a confirmed amount of time so work hard until any further announcement." He took in a deep breath to prepare himself for the next item on the list. "I would like to formally note that meetings will now be going on monthly rather than weekly, since I get drained of muse pretty quickly after these. Then, we'll be ending weekly tasks from today on. To replace them, we will begin weekly development prompts and song prompts. I will give more information on these when theyre made. Now, on an entirely different subject, OOC, Pizui has made a discord chat for traditional shadowclan. This is to avoid spamming the chat completely and still being able to talk freely. He will link it below soon, so be sure to click on that." Finally, he was going to move on to Assignments.

"Oakpaw, please step forward. You have reached eight moons, far from a kit, but have the misfortune of not being appointed a mentor. For this, I apologize. You will be the apprentice of Dreamcloud, I hope Dreamcloud passes on all her knowledge to you." He called out, flickering his eye over to the assumed apprentice. Then to Dreamcloud, "Dreamcloud, you are ready to take an apprentice. You have received excellent training from your mentor, and have proven yourself worthy for your own apprentice. I hope you pass down all your knowledge and skill to Oakpaw." Then, time for the rest.

//will continue as I get more sign-ups + will update HERE with link to discord
    summary::
    -SHC - BC alliance
-Riverclan battle soon, must be nine months or older to participate
    -monthly meetings, no longer weekly
    -no more weekly tasks
-weekly development prompts + song prompts are now a thing
    -SHC discord!!
