    "Soap?"

He had been there too, at the end of the tiger's life when it had swept onto shore. Children had found it first, and he didn't doubt that it was a bit.. unsettling, if not traumatizing for Papika and the others who had gathered by it that day. Gideon surely had been unsettled by it; angry. He was still undergoing a private investigation for his friend's murder (along side his own, for that matter. But that would always be put on hold for the good of his comrades). No one got away with the murder of a Colouredclanner without some form of justice, that was for sure. "Soap?" the Captain would repeat, halting beside the duo to gawk at the newcomer. He noted the scar placement, but it could've been a coincidence.

Gideon had always favored the artists of the clan, whether it be in photography, music, writing or the general arts. They could all produce incredible things, unlike himself. He wasn't very gifted (or talented at all, really) in any of those things. The Captain halted beside Nighttales, blinking curiously at the orange bandanna that caressed itself around the canine's head. "Famous?" Gideon asked rather doubtfully. He hadn't met Ota yet, and, on another side note, hadn't met a lot of people. "Sure."

"I think it'd be pretty neat. If we send someone to The Rift, could they pass on a message for me?" Gideon asked, struggling to contain his eagerness. He missed them but he couldn't handle the responsibilities of three different groups right now. Maybe he'd go back some day, to visit or to reignite his dual-alliance. Tipping his head, the male would sit beside the duo, resting his brown orbs on his Commander. In a jesting tone, he would comment, "A little greedy, Ni?"

"I can dig it," Gideon commented, entering the building after he (totally not creepily) watched from across the street for a bit. He was debating whether or not to actually check this place out, but was glad he did after catching the mention of blackberry juice. It sounded promising and, for once, he wasn't actively seeking out alcohol. "Name's Gideon. I don't think I've met either of ya."

Gideon understood all his friend has said. He certainly was something else, but the peafowl didn't see it as anything bad. As far as visiting his friends; yeah, he could bring them gifts or something as an apology for his absents. "Thanks, Vol," he chirped, his smile widening at the tone of acceptance. It certainly lifted the stress from his shoulders. Gideon then rose and headed towards a business's porch, pausing to invite his fellow Captain to join him and get out of the chilly weather. "Yeah, mate. Deals a deal, awkward or not." he chuckled.

"Sara, it's good to see you again," came the happy tone of the Captain as he drew to a halt beside the duo, getting the Commander's daughter with a swift tip of his head. He was glad that he recognized her, otherwise it would be awkward for him should she remember him. He was, after all, aware of her sudden lack of activity but was glad to see her up and running again. For a moment he glanced at the german shepherd, giving him an amused roll of his eyes, before turning back to the femme. "I'm Gideon, if you need a refresher."

Demotions and promotions seemed to be short this saturday. Generally, the whole meeting was short and Gideon never realized how nice it was. The Captain swiftly took a seat beside Tara, completely unaware of the damage on her memory. He had been slacking in attendance, after all. He offered her a smile and listened attentively to the rest of the announcement, catching the gist of it. Newbies (or at least, newbies to him) had been promoted to warders. That was nice, he was glad they were doing a good job in their work (otherwise he'd give them a stern talking to! But of course, he was only joking.) "Congratulations," he would squawk to them, however not offering condolences to those demoted on account of knowing they'd probably be around some time shortly.

The peafowl would let an excited squeal run through his mind, much like an excited 11 year old girl who just met her biggest hollywood crush, at the mentioning of Euph's promotion to second-in-command. He had earned it hard, after all, and it was more than well deserved. "Woooo! Congrats bud," clapped Gideon, seeking his friend out through the audience. He was pretty much proud.

Close allies; events were needed to be planned. There was no doubt that a few he had in mind would jump for the task, if they hadn't already. He would, but, pixie sucks right now. Eh. Anyway, as far as activity went, Gideon and his roleplayer could both agree that they couldn't wait until the holidays were over so they could go back to their regular schedule. Now that the rambling was over, he took a moment to appreciate the last portion of the announcements. The words were spoken like a true man in love and put in no words better than what Night could come up with. F#ck yeah. "Word."

"Yeah, wip 'em into shape!" joked the peafowl, fluffing up his feathers. His gaze was shining with the eagerness to see how the exchange would go. It was like a field trip! After shrugging nonchalantly towards their Commander, Gideon would tip his head thoughtfully in consideration before responding to Euph once more. "Yeah, just something about how I hope their holidays were good and a "hello" to Dia from me, I guess."

Was this going to be a one vs many type of match or a one on one? Either way, Gideon showed up shortly after Tara, adjusting the beanie on his little feathered head so he could look more clearly at the scene of those willing enough to offer themselves as an opponent. Gideon would gladly participate, too. He had previously been testing out his little dagger tail feathers and his electricity manipulation, and together they were pretty rad. But, he probably wouldn't participate in this seeing as a few had already offered. "This should be interesting."

    "No, no, no, no!"

Suddenly the peaceful scene was interrupted, by what appeared to be a deranged peafowl flapping his wings in protest, running towards the child on the border with an expression of annoyance displayed clearly on his features. He had recognized the scent (yet, of course, anyone could), and did not appreciate another one of those things on Colouredclan's territory. However, through all of his rambling yells it appeared as though he had noted that this was a child and therefore slowed his pace and decreased his wing flapping. With an exaggerated huff, Gideon's mud-brown eyes would roll as he now moved on to address the feline. "I'm going to assume you aren't here to cause trouble, am I correct? Or am I wrong, mate?"

The last time he was here, things ran pretty smoothely and his expectations for the clan were better than he had expected. They seemed generally relaxed, or, at least that was the vibe he had gotten on his first visit. Now, as an ambassador should do, he was back with gifts and an update on how his group was doing. Nothing special but just general stuff that might be interesting. Gideon placed the basket down (which overflowed with downy blankets, native-american styled jewelry, various herbs and select pieces of meat), hoping to meet some other members this time around as he called for their attention. "Oye, it's Gideon! Back to check in on things and bring gifts!"

"I'm sure we'd all be glad to restore it, or make it even better," Gideon would add, coming to a halt beside Papika. His stance on plants was pretty much the same as the others: they were nice and they were beautiful, and they always knew how to continue the life cycle without a care. Plus they smelled nice and that was something that he personally loved about nature. His stance on Yuri, however, was.. generally the same as the plants. He didn't dislike the male, appreciated his ego at times, too, but he had his moments.

Gideon offered the male a hopeful smile.
