The blue and white lion approached the scene not long after Starjelly. The broad shouldered male glanced around at the faces who were already present before he moved to take his seat with the other leaders. Briareos had attended Gatherings long ago in the past, years ago as RiddleClan's deputy, but never as a leader. He couldn't help but wish Riddlestar could be there to guide him.
"Briareos, the Primus of RiddleClan, formerly the Tribe of Burning Dreams."
He introduced with a strong voice, before he glanced at Nighttales and nodded in greeting. He remembered the ColouredClan leader and he admittedly felt bad for not pushing harder for the alliance. Things had ultimately fallen apart until recently.

Briareos dipped his head to Ichigo, and using the encouragement he decided to just go for it. A lot of individuals had already arrived and he guessed he could just begin, and being a fairly minor clan meant that it probably wasn't too much bother if anyone missed out on the information being shared.
"RiddleClan has been doing extremely well in recent days, a vast improvement from where we had been just a week ago. We have had an impressive influx of new joiners, many of whom have thrown themselves into clan life with vigour and I couldn't be more proud of them."
To be honest it was nothing but good news coming from RiddleClan for once, which was brilliant considering it had faced difficulties for a very long time.
"We were the Tribe of Burning Dreams for a long time, in fact for nearly a year, but after I took back power I returned it to its former name and we're back to being a pro-clan. So we're really going back to our former roots."
The clan was nearly five years old now, he could hardly believe it.
"However even at this stage of Autumn I have noticed that the snows have already began to fall. I fear a harsh Winter is coming, is anyone else getting this feeling?"
It was a concern for him personally. With them not exactly having allies he was worried that if starvation set in and if tensions ran high RiddleClan could suffer severely. -

Briareos inhaled deeply in a huff, his ears folding back as he heard Mero's voice. Always such a delight, provided that he was actively looking to having his day soured.

He remarked with a groan, but he could not deny that the clan needed her strength even if it came with an attitude. -

Briareos shared, not overly worried about sharing his fates. In the end he was onto his third life, though it did leave him wondering how many he had left. He would need to be careful because his next death might easily be his last.
"Thank you for the kind words Jack, for someone so young you certainly carry a very mature mind upon your shoulders. Perhaps it might be best if you come with me then. You can see what our former territory was like and gain an understanding to our history, and maybe StarClan might even speak with you as well."
The lion climbed to his paws and pondered over going now, or potentially waiting a few extra days. -

Briareos perked up his ears as he pushed his way through the undergrowth, his interest growing as he wondered what was out there exactly. Eventually the lion appeared on the scene and he as confronted with the sight of three individuals.

Not far from the asylum, just out into the forest within a clearing, a large bonfire blazed brightly and gave warmth to the cold night air. A puppet effigy of Deathstroke sat within the flames, burning away and melting slowly down onto the embers.
Briareos laid near the fire but his gaze was set skywards as an array of fireworks sprinkled and lit up the dark sky. Blues, golds and reds smeared the night with amazing patterns and shapes.
"I love fireworks night."
He hummed happily to himself as he admired the view, not fussed by the loud noises. -

Turning his head he focused his attention on Iolair, a tightening sensation gripping his chest. Something was wrong with Solarflare? The lion looked troubled and he found himself flicking the tip of tail as his concerns grew.
"I will try to speak with her."
He knew it was both his duty as a friend and as a leader. Though he then looked over at Starjelly and frowned.
"Not... not everyone comes back from death. Solarflare has never died before, this will be her first... and quite possibly her only one."
Rebirth and regeneration was common these days, but even now in this crazy world of theirs death could still claim them and never let go. -

The shout came from Briareos as he came racing over, very late to the situation. The blue and white lion slowed up to a walk once he was close enough and use the chance to catch his breath. Sighing lightly he then looked at Castiel with a grim expression.
"RiddleClan appreciates this act of kindness, but I am afraid I have some bad news. Since coming to power I have recently dropped all our allies. I am sorry, but RiddleClan and StormClan are no longer allies."
It had to be done, he couldn't leave the other clan in the dark about the change in alliance status. -

The lion would assure. Even neutrals were welcomed within the lands under his domain, and considering that the Tribe of Burning Dreams and StormClan used to stand side-by-side at one point he was sure that even despite a name change and a shift in alliances that StormClan would be no threat.

The large male would dip his head to the other, maintaining a stoic and respectful presence.
