ALPHAS • The leading mated pair of the pack, made up of a male and a female. The male will be in charge of organizing patrols and enforcing the laws, while the female organizes den moves and assist in the care of pups. Both alphas may call meetings or lead patrols.
BETAS • The second in commands, again a male and a female. However, they do not have to be mates. The male is tasked as the alpha male's assistant, and the female as the alpha female's. When an alpha dies, the beta male and his mate may become the new alphas.
THETAS • Former betas and alphas. Their primary task is to teach the omegas, while their secondary task is to lead patrols, guard, or care for pups.
MOTHERS • Pregnant or nursing she-wolves. A she-wolf may not mate until she is at least two years old, males three years!
DELTAS • Retired epsilons. They may retire due to aging, sickness, or injury if it conflicts with their duties. Some deltas may either guard or help care for pups.
EPSILONS • Wolves who have become full members of the pack. They are hunters, warriors, scouts, and guards.
OMEGAS • Epsilons-in-training. Training begins at ten months old and continues til they are a year old.
LONERS • Wolves who do not belong to a pack; outsiders.
