    So I've recently taken over and I'm making it a point to try and make sure everyone's involved, noticed, etc. etc.


    I know the usual things: host mass adoptions, hp tryout and all that, and even with finals in mind I really want to make Scarclan the really fun place that I remember it being. I recall it being the very first place I ever roleplayed and I remember it being fun and plotty, which comes with having members. And I'm not really a fan of the whole "we're an anticlan murder all the time for no reason" but I do enjoy the drama caused by culturally perpetuated violence so I want to keep that.


    I guess what I'd like to ask is that what draws you to a mass adoption, or a high position try out? Is it important to you that characters in a clan are having plots?


    MORE IMPORTANTLY, since I've only been briefly leader in any place before, what qualities do you look for in a leader? I have a very diplomatic character so he transitioned well to leadership, but I always have him struggling with internal power that manifests in power-malfunctions and the rest, the fracturing of his soul and all that. Do you look for a leader that is not only active in threads but developed? What makes something a museful place for you?


    Thanks! I really want Scarclan to be more than what it is now but I want it to be more than just active. Honestly, I'd rather have a slower paced, interesting place to be where people feel they can plot and enjoy writing, but I'm curious what kind of leader and events you enjoy in a clan.

    Religion
    Radicalclan has three main deities: Astrum, Oriens, and Leus. It is said that, long ago, Leus ruled a males-only heaven, leaving female spirits to become trapped after death. Two spirits, Oriens and Astrum, broke into this 'heaven' and took over, throwing Leus from his throne -- in doing so, he became trapped by his own twisted nature, claws turning to stone and whiskers growing trees, eyes turning red like dimly burning suns. He became the Dark Forest, and when Astrum founded the woman-only 'Starclan', she put Oriens in charge of the Dark Forest, cutting off Starclan from that dark place. Oriens is responsible for running the Dark Forest, where she tortures and torments all mankind.


    Astrum is the Goddess of the night, control, and protection who manifests as a tortoiseshell cat with white and blue eyes.


    Oriens is the Goddess of day, discord, and torturing men who manifests as a grizzly bear.


    Leus is the ex-God who became the Dark Forest, who manifests as a black tom with copper eyes.


    There are other deities as well, and some may choose to pray to an action or something else (rain, sun, hunting, etc.) A Goddess named Chianyth was worshipped for some time, but placing any deity above Astrum especially is considered sacrilegious.


    Astrum's statue is adorned with offerings and prayed to, but Oriens and Leus are not worshipped.


    (Anyone know why we don't like Oriens? Couldn't find that)

    You want a place where pretty much anything goes? Where we have conflict in culture and dynamic characters? Where getting a high position, or getting recognized for character development / any amount of activity is both easy and rewarding? Where plots are discussed and encouraged greatly?


    Well then, my friend, slide right into Scarclan! We may be a little slow, but our people are invested and we lOVE NEW PEOPLE. Our chat is very welcoming, our ooc community is very friendly, and it's not hard to get a position. As well, we're trying new plots and activities all the time and it's super easy to have a say in what we do!
