He did not like to think about whether his actions had consequences or not. Whether whoever he just killed had a happy family, or something of the like. It sometimes weighed his heart down and he hated that. It was a feeling he was still not used to, in fact.
Volatiletimes dragged a loner's body into the territory with a blank look. The loner was no longer alive, with their eyes wide open and devoid of life and light. He had poisoned the poor tiger and now he wasn't going to let the body go to waste. When he killed someone, it had purpose. Never would he kill someone for the heck of it. That just seemed so.. wasteful.
The kirin dropped the body and started with his work, cutting open the stomach and tearing out the organs and ribs. He cleaned out the blood and made sure to be careful when putting in the stuffing. The same process was repeated over and over, but it was extremely tiring. However, it was worth it when the end result was a doll. A beautiful doll that whispered to him when he needed comfort and love.. Gods, he loved his children so very much. Even if others did not.

"Do you have someplace else where I can do it, Nighttales?" There was a hint of annoyance in his tone, but Volatiletimes looked calm as ever. He simply smiled at the leader and held the doll close to his side.
"I would hate to stain the pretty scenery around the territory, you know." That wasn't entirely true, as he had just stained parts of the camp which he considered pretty, but that didn't matter right now. "Calm, ugly, scenery is ideal for making dolls!" Now he was just spouting nonsense.
