She didn't know what she could do either. She was practically useless when it came to money. "Um.. Should we politely ask if somebody could give us money? I don't know.." That was a horrible idea. Who would give a human and a goat-girl money?

She nodded, understanding. "Yeah.. I don't know.. Maybe look for the skeleton that helped us? I don't remember what he looks like, but.. Papyrus, right? That's gotta be his name. Unless I'm forgetting something.. Did he ever tell you his name? Oh well, maybe asking the stupid skeleton for help is a worthless effort." She hadn't meant to say stupid, but she was just so frustrated. "How about I look for a new place while you stay in the inn, get some kind of job or something, and come back so we can buy something." Not the best of ideas, yeah, but it was the only thing that came to mind.
"I don't think they have jobs here anyways."
-
"Oh? But Kid told me.." Her voice trailed off and she felt agitation well up within her. So there were two skeletons.. How many more would they encounter? She regained her calm state of mind and said, "Alright, I guess I won't leave, but what are we going to do now? Go back to the inn and rot away there, never to leave this cold, dreary place?" Eve certainly had a flair for the dramatics, and she wouldn't even deny that.
-
She felt her face heat up but she remained calm. What a nice gesture. "Right! I just hope we'll figure things out soon. I want to explore more, and be warm while exploring." She giggled, eyes glowing with happiness.

this is lowkey sugarplum/laurel angst shhh -
She snorted, shaking her head. "No way! I'll rub them myself! I'm a big girl!" She stuck her tongue out at him, finding enjoyment in his jokes. "Come on, we should probably head out now. Don't want the store owner thinking we'll actually buy something."
-
"We should make a run for the inn, don't ya think?" She teased him before she said, "You must respect my royal decisions! Only someone of high power can touch royal feet!" She burst out laughing at her own comment. Wow, she sounded so snobbish.
-
She squealed and ran away from him, careful not to slip on the snow as she ran. "You'll never catch me!" She said with a hearty laugh, getting closer and closer to the inn. This was one way to make things fun and better than they seemed. Eve was grateful for it, however. It took her mind off of things.
-
"Cobalt!" She squealed, howling with laughter as she tried to push him away, face heating up. "Ha- Stop!" She grinned, trying to wriggle out of his grasp as she struggled to breathe. She was grateful to have met Cobalt, in all honesty. He somehow made her happy when things were supposed to be depressing and bleak. That was amazing.
-
She slammed a fist in the snow and wiggled around, snorting. If she died right now from laughter overdose, she really didn't mind. It would be an awesome way to die. "Coaba-" She interrupted her own words with a snort. It was a fun little quirk that happened only from laughing too much, unfortunately.
Eve's paws glowed and small vines sprouted past the snow and started tickling the boy. Eve found it relatively easy to control her powers this time. Perhaps it was because she was having such a good time and just letting it take control instead of concentrating too hard. Maybe that's what she had to do. Relax and go with the flow, and then be able to control her powers. Hopefully.
-
She smirked at him, finally breaking free from his grasp and standing up, watching him on the ground. "Those who break the rules get punished! Looks like karma got you god!" She stuck her tongue out and giggled before letting the vines wither away. "Do that again, and you shall suffer even more, foolish human!"

She rolled her eyes as he bowed, foot tapping in the snow. "Next time I won't be so kind! You better watch yourself!" She tried to put on a serious face before she turned away and stifled a giggle. They should do this more often, she would really appreciate it, honestly.
-
She watched him before patting away the snow carefully from his shoulders. "Don't brush, pat! I think that's a much better method." Eve said with a smile. She turned to the inn door and opened it, holding it open for Cobalt so when he was done getting to snow off, he could come in.
-

She looked at the innkeeper and waved. "Hey, could I ask you something?" She then said abruptly, staring intently at the lady. She had been thinking.. If to get a job, why not offer up to be of help to the first person she had actually met in this coy village? "I just wanted to ask if you needed help with anything.. Running an inn must be hard, y'know. Do you need help cleaning? Washing stuff? I can help!"
