It was cozy and warm. She had already sat her bags on one of the beds that she planned to claim as her own. She plopped down beside a pink and green striped bag that held all of her drawings. What am I doing here? I don't belong here I'm just a human In fact Sun wasn't sure why she had decided to come to Rengoku Academy. She had found out her mother was a demon, but that didn't make her a demon. She'd grown up her entire life just as a regular human, but when she'd found out that she was technically allowed to go because her mother was a demon she jumped at the opportunity. Anywhere had seemed better than the orphanage, but now she wasn't so sure. She heard a small meow coming from the corner of the room that pulled her out of her thoughts. "Oh Darla! I forgot to let you out of your cage," she said as she let the small orange and white cat out of her blue carrier cage.[/fancypost]

    Ji walked through the courtyard, ignoring the beautiful scenery, with his hands tucked into his pockets and his shoulders hunched. Dark Sun High was the last place he wanted to be. He had already made up his mind to just ignore everyone and finish this year as quickly as possible, although he wouldn't mind messing with some moons every now and then. He needed something to entertain him. As he neared the entrance of the school the reality of it began to hit him. I'm gonna be stuck here with a bunch of snobby, goody two-shoes, stuck up moons. He groaned as he walked up the steps and into the main hallway. Just as he neared his dorm it dawned on him. He had left his bags in the taxi that brought him here. "Great. Just f*cking great."

    June was the first person inside her dorm as she finished hanging her last picture above the bed she had chosen as hers. It was a picture of her and her best friend from the orphanage, Claire. They were wearing matching red shirts and seemed so happy. June smiled, and then felt a twinge of loneliness. Claire had been her only friend, and now they had been ripped apart. She plopped onto the bed and stared up at the ceiling. I'll make new friends. But even as she thought the words she knew it was going to be hard. She had a hard time talking to people, and she'd never spoken to a sun marked person before. But even as doubts filled her mind, she still hoped that Dark Sun High would be special.    [/fancypost]

Sun felt awful. She had seen how upset the girl was with her being human and now she had to tell her that she really was a human. ".. well not really. My mom is a demon, but me..

    Ji entered his dorm and sighed. He pulled out his phone dialed in the familiar numbers, put his hand on the call button and then froze. It was just an accident, but he knew his father wouldn't see it that way. "So what. I need my stuff," he tried half-heartily to convince himself. He held the phone to his ear as it rang, his throat getting tighter and tighter. No one in the whole entire world could make Kwon So Ji nervous, no one except for his father. When the call went to voicemail Ji was slightly relieved. At least he wouldn't have to get fussed out right now. "Uh, yeah hey dad. It's me. I uh, I left my stuff in the taxi. I know I'm a complete idiot, but please just send me some clothes when you get the time, and uh, call me back." He slammed the phone shut and let his head fall into his hands. "I'm such an idiot," he muttered to himself.

    Ji lifted his head out of his hands and stared at the boy who just entered the room. He could tell that the guy didn't want trouble. He sized him up with his eyes, already determining that he wasn't a threat. But it was just Ji's nature to make his position known. He stood up and walked over to the guy. "Sun or moon," He said it more like a statement than a question, his voice was flat with a hint of coldness to it.

    Ji stared at the boy a moment longer then turned and lifted his long hair up revealing a sun symbol on the back of his neck. "At least today hasn't been a total let-down. My name is Kwon So Ji. But you can just call me Ji. Or Kwon- it doesn't matter much," then his voice suddenly hardened "But never, ever So." Then he turned his back again. He didn't show it, but he was actually pretty pleased that his room-mate was a sun like him. With the way his day had been going he didn't know if he could handle having a moon in his presence.

    June repeated the names in her mind Natsume. Miyako. Natsume. Miyako. She had a hard time with names, but she wanted to remember theirs. Even if they're not much for conversation.. she said the words in her head, but her bottom lip instinctively stuck out in a small pout. She stood and decided to go to the cafeteria. She hadn't noticed how hungry she was until now. She put her hand on her stomach and grabbed her slippers. SHe was halfway to the door when she slipped and fell. She jumped up quickly, her elbow stinging with pain and felt her face get red. She didnt wait to see Natsume's reaction and instead just rushed out the door. "Ow, ow, ow!"
