[font=georgia]kids! ugh, he hated them for their curiosity at times. after being prodded and poked for what seemed like the umpteenth time, the male let out a not too friendly noise that was kind of like a hissing growl. it was clear he wasn't happy. dapplebreeze, get your cohort of kitties to back off. i'd hate to roll over on them. he grumbled, determined to try get some sleep. after the comment about mouse bile briar tensed up a little as he was getting annoyed, but really he was preparing to retaliate as well. as soon as he heard the queen's whispers about going to the elder's den, he'd had it. the male twisted and sprang up from his spot and attempted to pin her down. if he succeeded, the male would proceed to snap somewhat quietly back at her. i am not going in there if i can help it. i'm gonna go down fighting or not at all. and i am most definitely not going to be an elder before you. the elder's den was, to him, like digging yourself a hole and waiting to die in it. he wasn't one to let death come without doing something with himself. being an elder wouldn't let him do that.

could i have one for briar here? he's a greying brown tabby with muddy green eyes (profile pic's a good reference for the colour). he also has a nick in his right ear and scars dotted around his main body area. he'd probably be frowning or something too since he's such a grump.

[font=georgia]like the kid said, only marshstar can really give you a thumbs up. i don't see why there would be a problem though. with a bit of luck she should be around in a minute or two. the warrior spoke in his usual bored tone as he followed dapple over. briarstorm took a seat beside the queen and licked a greying paw as he waited. there was no point wasting valuable washing time after all, was there? the former windclanner could judge all they wanted but the male really wouldn't care.

[font=georgia]stop talking and help then if you know what to do, kid. no point in time wasting. the male grumbled as he headed on over. the poor kid...one of the few cats that briar didn't mind too much. volcanicstorm didn't need this for sure, he'd done nothing to deserve all these cuts and bruises. it was as he was hovering around, trying to figure out whether anyone was still out there that the warrior picked up a faint bloodclan scent from under all the body fluids and the strong scent of their border. he was really going to kill them now...just the thought of a bloodclanner was enough to boil his blood. it's those damn bloodclanners again...hell, i wished they'd keep to themselves for once. briarstorm grumbled, claws digging into the ground.

[font=georgia]ooh, this kid got under his skin...a pacifist leader in a time that was obviously leading to war. briar remained as calm as he could though given his usual quick sparking temper and general couldn't give a damn attitude. he couldn't afford to mess things up, marshstar was depending on him. i will pass your message on then. thank you for your time. the male gave a dip of his head before turning and heading back into thunderclan territory, determined not to snap back at the leader with some form of witty comment. he was being good, even though it hurt him mentally.

[font=georgia]oh, briar was ever so slightly annoyed at the riverclan leader. it had taken every bit of willpower he had not to give the guy a lecture on everything that the warrior didn't like about his uppity so called pacifist personality and attitude. the warrior had ran back from the border grumbling under his breath about the riverclanner and as he neared camp, the grizzled male slowed to a walk and joined the group. riverclan patrol present. he spoke in a tone that perfectly mirrored the storm of insults building up in his thoughts: sharp and tinged with annoyance. he never wanted to deal with those riverclanners again if he could help it.

[font=georgia]//imagine a regular day in thunderclan...everything's going on as normal but there's one difference: everyone's personalities have completely flipped. for example, briar here's gonna be a bit of a sweet old grandpa who's extremely easygoing.

briar was enjoying the early morning sun with a bit of a relaxation session. he'd already gone on a hunting patrol and now it was simply the case of contemplating what to do with the rest of his day. the greying male found his gaze going towards the nursery, thinking about a storytelling session with the kits. the only problem with that was he didn't want to disturb dapplebreeze and the other queens in the process. he hated being inconsiderate..it could hurt feelings sometimes. briarstorm would never want to hurt even a little fly so the thought of making a queen or two cranky...well. it put him off the idea pretty quickly. unable to think of something to occupy himself, the elderly warrior stretched out and laid down to watch the clan slowly go about their business.

[font=georgia]the male raised a hypothetical eyebrow at the tabby's comment and felt an urge to just pat the kid on the head, tell them to chill out and ground her just to make sure...iceforest had been overworking herself even by loner standards and even he'd noticed. you need to start leaving some of the jobs to others though, yeah? you'll be an elder before me at this rate. briarstorm replied in an almost jokey tone despite the seriousness he felt towards the issue. these clan cats have it lucky though...when i was a loner i'd have been doing everyone's job here pretty much all at once. it's a bit of a no chill lifestyle, huh?

[font=georgia]standing up once more, the male gave the kitten a rare smile that looked almost cheerful. his back cracked a little in the process but that was getting to be a regular occurence for him, much to his distaste. that sounds like a good idea, i don't think there'll be any problems with deer joining though. the code does state to help out kids like her, no matter where they come from after all. he replied after a bit of thought, turning to look at the tabby. he was glad that she'd come round to the idea, briar would've hated to leave the kid out in the cold.

[font=georgia]being at a gathering...well. it was a big deal for the thunderclanner. briarstorm had barely gotten used to the amount of cats in thunderclan but this? this was feeling a bit much. the warrior didn't do large groups, not that he let it show as he ambled on over calmly after dapplebreeze and looked around. is it usually this busy at a gathering? briar asked the queen in a voice that was a bit quieter than usual. yes, he was nervous. if someone pointed it out though, they were going to get their ears chewed out for sure. he was too tense to control his temper effectively.
