[font=georgia]whoo, he'd got there in the end. it was enough effort that he thought it deserved a massive celebration. not really, he hated parties, but it had definitely taken a lot on his part. briarstorm mulled over the facts, confused expression turning into a thoughtful one as he tried to work out how to react. it was definitely strange news, something that would take a while to get used to. he wasn't even sure what to think. his daughter was also not his daughter, and instead spiderlily's dead close friend...hmm. he really needed to get his head around this one and fast.
well, as far as i'm concerned, you're still my little girl. no matter what happens or who you are, i'll still love you kiddo. your mother would too, mind. she'd be so proud of you if she saw you now you know, all this jess business or not. the grizzled male decided on, hoping he'd worded things right. he wasn't the greatest at trying not to upset or offend others when he was supposed to be comforting them. he'd never been the loving parent, he was just the overprotective one. now it seemed that both jobs had fallen to him and he still had no idea how to be all kind and mushy without seeming fake. it just really wasn't his style in the slightest.
