the castle had been an amazing new place to live in. so many places to explore and cracks in the wall where albion could tuck herself into and hide when someone came down the hall. the baby dragon had been wandering and roaming for quite some time, though, and eventually had grown loss in the castle. hallways began to look the same, and she couldn't tell if she was going in circles or not. albion began to get a bit worried, tugging at the bond her and stolensuns had as she continued to try and find her way back to their room. her legs had grown tired, and she felt ready to have a bit of rest before running around to explore again.

soon enough, the cherry red dragonet came upon the throne room. its magnificent crimson banners and clean tiles that led to the throne. albion's tiredness seemed to melt away as her excitement returned, and she clumsily padded toward the throne, breathless by the time she reached it. though determined, albion stuck herself onto the queen's perch and climbing up until she reached the the top of the headboard of the throne, and looked over everything with wide eyes. she felt so... tall up here! taller than when she stood on stolensuns' neck when they sat down, taller than the few times they tried climbing the trees before they told her to come down. albion's wings fluttered in excitement, lifting her up only a centimeter or two but not for long. "hello?" she spoke out, listening to her squeak echo through the thought-to-be empty room. she couldn't help but giggle to herself, trying to imitate how dahlia looked upon first meeting her. she imagined hundreds of knights in front of her, all looking up at her with admiration and guidance. "as the new queen, i order for the freshest fruits you can find! then... parties every day!" they all cheered and celebrated, and the dragonet puffed out her chest with a wide smile, blue-tipped tail whipping back and forth as she crawled down to the arm of the throne, peering down toward the ground. it suddenly seemed... much farther down than she expected, perhaps it wasn't the best idea to pretend to be queen for a bit.

the baby dragon hadn't quite expected company during her imaginative playtime, though they weren't unwelcome. albion had only wished they hadn't caught her when she was beginning to realize she was stuck on the throne, fearful of the distance between the seat and the ground. she lifted her gaze to see leo, eyes wide upon seeing another dragon in front of her. this one was unfamiliar, and she did not recognize it was the same knight from when she and stolensuns had joined. "i-i was just..." she was just playing, but she didn't want to stop now. though albion was unsure how they would react to her story of pretend.

upon dahlia's arrival, she hurried back up to the armrest to the throne, about to send out apologies before the caracal had played alone. her eyes lit up, and her smile quickly returned. "oh! uhm, cherries and strawberries of course. everyone should always eat strawberries and cherries because they're the best, tastiest fruit in the world." albion declared with a confident tilt of her chin. "oh, miss dahlia! would you like to be the princess?"

creating gifts for her new clanmates sounded like a wonderful way to make friends and meet more of her new clanmates. the cherry red dragonet would nod her head quickly, her wings fluttering in her bout of joy as she thought of the items she could make. "i'll get right on that, miss dahlia!" albion promised, turning around and bounding away from the queen.

albion still had much to expect in her life. the dragonet was young, just reaching her six month mark recently. still, she had centered most of her life around stolensuns, as the larger dragon had not only hatched her, but kept her safe from the dangers of the world. the dangers that could easily corrupt and kill small beings such as her. coming to the knights of eden had appeared to be a great decision, though. albion preferred it much more compared to a life of cycling between flight, feeding, rest. only to repeat it again for the countless days to follow. in eden she could actually meet new people, be in a safe environment away from the baddies that stol tried keeping her from.

the cherry red dragon was out on the prowl, exploring on her own. the adrenaline, the thrill of being away from their parent outweighed the fear of being vulnerable. often hiding in divots whenever she heard the screech of a bird overhead. eventually she heard voices, muffled under the bubbling of running water, and she grew curious as to who was around. "hello" albion craned her neck over the blades of grass, jumping to see higher and seeing two figures ahead. the small winged creature hurried until the pale coloured pelt of sutton became clearer, and she peered in between them. "are you going swimming? i think it's a bit cold to do that, or were you guys just talking? oh- i'm sorry, i think i just did something impolite." interrupting a conversation was not ladylike, what was she thinking?

her task was to create lovely gifts for her clanmates this week, and albion had gladly done just that! she wasn't quite sure what they would like, since she hadn't met all of them yet, so she took to dahlia's suggestions and used, well, all of them. the baby dragon didn't know how to bake or make candies, but with the help of an npc she had a small plate of pastries in front of her, some filled with light fluffy cream, and others filled with sweet jelly. though what alby had been able to craft were things that fascinated her, and most of them were brightly colored or glowed. one was a mason jar full of water, which would appear to be just that until shaken up, where it would then create a bright glow due to the plankton she had caught inside. then a few others had brightly colored flowers growing out of them, which she was sure some of them would like.

she stood out in front of the castle surrounded by her gifts, a big smile on her face. "i have gifts for you all!" she called out, as loudly as she could to be heard.

in the midst of albions exploration of the knights of eden, she had stumbled across their stable of horses. stallions and mares, all shapes and sizes, and beautiful colors. they were so much... bigger than her, bigger than stolensuns, but albion felt safe around them. the baby dragonet had crawled up on the walls, darting in between stalls and spending time with each and every one of them. it seemed some belonged to the other knights, but she had come across a speckled gray mare that had taken a liking to alby, trying to nuzzle into the small dragon unlike the others that had ignored her. a percheron, she had read labeled on the stall and albion made the quick decision to let her out. exploring around the territory would be much easier now instead of relying on stolensuns, and she was having too much fun to stop her little expedition.

although, alby hadn't realized that she left eden's territory. she had taken a nap on the mare's saddle, expecting her to stay within the borders, but when she awoke they were surrounded by thick growth of trees and moss. the dragonet frowned, crawling up the neck of the horse and looking around, trying to see if she saw anything familiar. nothing. not even the scent matched with her home. her tiny wings fluttered nervously, jumping at the caw of a raven and running back, ducking and hiding into a pocket connected to the saddle. albion took a deep breath, determined to figure this out on her own, at least until she tugged onto the bond with stolensuns when she gave up.

at the sound of another voice, unfamiliar as well, albion tucked herself deeper into the saddlebag, holding her tail tightly to her chest as she took a deep breath. the mare had stopped moving, but had only given a snort in response to chesspieces. she was still stuck in the habit of not trusting strangers, believing they would take the chance to eat her right away like all predators would. she was an easy snack for anything bigger than her. hesitantly, she poked her head out of the bag and saw he cat continue speaking to the mare, cautiously crawling out of it. she didn't exactly own the horse, but she would rather use the word friend, maybe. or companion.

"ah, i... am?" albion tried to spread out her tiny wings in an attempt to make herself look bigger, but it didn't really do much. "i'm, um, albion! i live in the knights of eden..." maybe if she gave that information, they wouldn't think about eating her anymore. if... they did in the first place.
