[font=trebuchet ms]The shorter, less-groomed female jumped, lashing about to look at the other Minnowpaw with only brief annoyance before it shifted into silent amusement. Her response was a shrug, simple and to the point as she then looked to Quiet Lark once more. If there was a way to telepathically signal to the other that this was a stranger, she would have been sending a million red flags.

[font=trebuchet ms]// You can ask for one in the chat thread. And lmao, terrible parent squad.
// and woo boy things are getting heated, and not in the fun way. i swear this would be a crack ship in the choice awards xD

You should be thankful, I don't like putting effort in anything anymore. Minnie would have stated mentally with great annoyance. This aggravation only spread as she commented on her own term for the twolegs- one she could understand, but could care less about. A dry, harsh laugh sounded from her maw, loudly as if she didn't care if she had social anxiety any more. As if she couldn't care less if someone else noticed and butted in. "Dark Forest, I don't think I'm the least bit classy. Someone has to have zero standards to want to train me."

And then, she snapped. At the mention of her status weight-wise and appearance-wise, her fur would raise more, like a large Tibetan Mastiff, her fangs clear past her curled lips and actually well taken care of despite everything else. Despite this, her voice was cold and remained on it's normal volume level. "You don't know what I've been through you spoiled kittypet. I couldn't care less about how I look. It's not like I need to impress anyone." She was contradicting herself- her atelophobia would easily disagree with this statement. However, she wanted to try and make a point out of something, perhaps even push caring further away from herself. At this point she wasn't even mad at Charlotte, she was mad at how spot-on the other was. How she could try to be a better person, and she was too lazy to try.

[font=trebuchet ms]Minnowpaw was too young to know much about BloodClan, but from what she could already conclude, they were heartless and would kill without hesitation. That in itself was a scary thought. "I'll stay here and keep them company then." She piped up, deciding it would be for the best as she created a small, anxious smile. "I'm... I'm sorry to hear what happened. I guess they're doing s-stuff like that to ThunderClan too." It was terrible, really. RiverClan was spoiled at how little interaction they've had with the murderous group.

[font=trebuchet ms]Minnie blinked, awfully feeling dirty compared to all the clean, sleek cats around her, before blinking in awe. "Returning? O-... Oh! W-Welcome back then, I'm Minnowpaw, and this..." She swayed her tail toward the other female. "Is also Minnowpaw, so everyone just calls me Minnie. It's..." Wow, she was getting caught up in her thoughts, her head leaning back in order to look the tom in the face, and her expression was not short of admiration. "It's nice to meet you Quiet Lark."

    [font=trebuchet ms]Cicero, that's amazing.
I'd offer Minnie but she has terrible people skills, and I think at least one of the temporary council should also go.

[font=trebuchet ms]Her response was a blink of surprise, only to transition to a soft smile and then, afterwards, an equally soft laugh. "I'd say that's weird, but you'd probably look at me funny if I said I never tried kibble before." It was all good-natured, and she did her best not to offend him as she sat across, trying to seem openly friendly despite the awkwardness that already formulated in her chest. "Well, a good thing to try when you first eat fish is to lick off the scales and then bite in. My favorite bits are toward the end, since it's a good amount of muscle." She rose a paw, gently hovering it close to where the tail fin and the body met, but just a bit more toward the center.

[font=trebuchet ms]She shivered once more, but no longer than a heartbeat as she piped up, "I had one, b- then bad things happened." The words rushed out of her mouth, and she did nothing to stop them. Rather, Minnowpaw turned her head to the side for a moment, trying to get her body to relax despite this feeling like a punishment in itself. "Bad things happened... two moons ago. I-It's a long story." One she wasn't quite ready to remember. Waving a paw dismissively, she'd then push herself to her feet, uncaring if dirt and other such things stuck to her pelt and made her look untidy.

[font=trebuchet ms]//im so weak right now, this is beautiful xD

She couldn't prepare herself in time for the screech her ears had to intake, quickly finding herself wide-eyed and in a state of complete confusion. "N-No, we are not twins." Minnie's words didn't come out harshly, just matter-of-fact. Her fur bristled once more as Minnowpaw continued, and she found she would prefer another scolding from Eaglesoar than this kind of torture. "I- eh- o- u-um-" Warmth spread over her features as the other shoved her muzzle right upfront of her own, leaning back in dismay before the Turkish Van pulled back and continued.

"Hahah... yeah, baths aren't my thing, sooo..." The gray tabby took a step back, an awkward smile on her lips as she tried to continue to excuse herself, but nothing came to mind.

[font=trebuchet ms]"Sure you won't be." She replied, nose scrunched in a teasing manner. Heck, she was already looking forward to those days. Minnowpaw would continue to listen to him patiently, not really feeling the motivation kick in until he mentioned showing her some tricks. Yet, at the same time, she felt queasy. There had been a huge gap between when she last trained, and she wasn't even sure if-

Ah, forget it. Taking one last, big bite unbefitting of a so-called "elegant" RiverClanner, she would push herself to her paws and follow after him, allowing others to finish off whatever might have been left from their personal meal. "S-So, what are we going to start out with?" She inquired, keeping the excitement from her tone.

[font=trebuchet ms]Heat instantly warmed to her face as Minnowpaw mentioned catnip, shooting the other female a cautious glare before continuing on silently, her movements stiff and wary. Only when he started speaking again did she flick her tail, glancing at the collar they were paying attention to. "Well, former." She decided to mention ahead of time, unsure how she felt about the topic but noting his moment of tenseness. What happened to him?

"Minnowpaw's a clanmate now though. There are two others from what I know that joined as well, so, yeah."

[font=trebuchet ms]She hated this. She felt dirtier than she looked. Ears leaning back once more, she would meet Eaglesoar's gaze with a sort of intensity that didn't quite fit her soft features. "Y-Yeah, I'm safe. I mean, I'm in RiverClan, right?"

This question didn't linger for more than a heartbeat, as she turned her face once more. She was of RiverClan decent, though with a loner in the mix of it all. That loner, her grandfather, wasn't all that kind. "He was killed. That's all. That's... all." Her voice trailed, mixed emotions filling her gaze before she snapped out of it and a stubborn look crossed her features. She wasn't comfortable in saying anything any more, and that much was apparent by her hunched shoulders.

//that's fine, and have fun (i think xD)

[font=trebuchet ms]//even i'm going to force her into being friends with minnowpaw. this is so amazing. xD

Her cheeks puffed out as she tried to avoid watching at all costs, but of course, that didn't work as Minnowpaw's, well, paw, pushed her cheek. "Bonded" wasn't the term she would use for two people opposite of each other, who just so happened to share the same name as apprentices, but she decided to roll with it before she suggested wearing matching collars. Looking miserable and hiding any traces of excitement, she followed after Minnowpaw with her tail hanging limply, too short to touch the ground as she walked. "Just don't go all full cleanup on me, alright?"

[font=trebuchet ms]"Maybe we should have someone with as much energy as you patrolling in the middle of the night. Wouldn't be hard to wake us up." Minnowpaw stated teasingly as she slid out of the Apprentice's den, eyelids droopy and fur in a mess as per usual. "What'd you have in mind?" Not that she was too fond of working, but it would be better than doing nothing all day.

[font=trebuchet ms]Curiosity sparked in her gaze as she glanced back at them, then to the bell. She would never have found the sound pleasing until he mentioned his deafness, her ears twitching. It... was soft, and tinkled at every movement. Of course it alerted prey, but she found a moment to appreciate the unique noise and shape before perking back up and narrowly avoiding tripping on some matted reeds that formed a root, catching herself before she stumbled.

Heat radiated from her as she tried to play it off, continuing on with hunched shoulders. "Is it... weird? I-I mean, being... you know." Minnie couldn't find herself closing her jaws until the end, gaze elsewhere and pace quickening to try and stay ahead, a bit aggravated they were both taller than her and could easily stride about whereas she had to basically jog, but she was used to it by now. Although, one would be surprised to see her moving this quick, as she was one of the lazier members and a bit big-bellied from eating a good amount.

[font=trebuchet ms]Completely oblivious to what was going on since Determined was too lazy to look back at the posts, the gray feline would have made her way over silently, hardly paying attention before she looked at the female who shared her name. "O-Oh, are you guys doing something?" Her voice was completely curious, snapping herself out of a half-awake daze at the mention of a game.

[font=trebuchet ms]Minnie perked, looking to Rainfall with a faint smile. She hadn't personally met this female, but she believed she'd seen her around. "S-Sort of, he's returning." If he wanted to elaborate, he could go ahead. She was starting to feel lazy again already, after walking and talking with Minnowpaw and Quiet Lark.

[font=trebuchet ms]Minnie settled in a loaf position near the group, but not quite within them. She wasn't too keen on hearing so many voices early in the morning. "Could slap 'em with fish." She stated jokingly, and it would be unsure if she was just trying to poke fun or if she was being totally serious.
