Minnie had gotten accustomed to being many warriors' blanket, so she honestly didn't mind another cuddle buddy. The prey was warm still, and with a twitch of her tufted ears, she would offer the first bite to Pansypaw, who would need her strength for the rest of the day. "It's going well so far. I've been feeling quite lazy lately, but new leaf is right around the corner, so I'm getting ready to pick back up on my fishing." Ooh, fish, she missed the prey dearly when it was nice and warm. Her tail swept behind her with content before she smiled brightly to Pansypaw. "How about you? I can imagine you're tired from hunting for sure." If not, then kudos to the new little hunter of the clan.

Oh boy. Minnowripple looked at the prey, an almost sorrowful smile on her maw. "In the beginning, I just did what every other apprentice did; chores here and there, some hunting trips and patrols. I won't go to gatherings, though, since my first mentor died on the night I was supposed to go." Her tail twitched at the memory. "So for two moons after that, I didn't do anything. Then by the time I get Eaglesoar as my mentor and get into the swing of things, I was attacked. So, I didn't do much as an apprentice after that." Minnowripple offered a small shrug. "Then I left RiverClan for a bit to live as a rogue, but this place is my home. I worked twice as hard to heal my wounds and become a great warrior on my own."

A sad smile formed on her maw at this, though soon she raised a paw and aimed to somewhat ruffle the fur on top of Pansypaw's head gently. "Scary?" The female echoed, her yellow eyes glinting with curiosity. "Well... how about, whenever your mom gets scary, you come to me? I'll make sure you feel better if she ever scares you again, alright?"

The female shrugs a bit. "It's kind of a bummer, but you can leave camp on your own when you like, lead patrols, uh, get an apprentice after a while." She seemed to pause for a second before looking at Pansypaw again. "But things are always changing, and it's the warrior that makes an experience. My life so far has been pretty standard, but you'll have the power to live life to its fullest in your own way."

But heck yes, I'd love a thread between them, lmao. She's healed up greatly, though she has a permanent hitch in her shoulder and the scars still show a bit, so she definitely won't try to fight him; also, Quietstar told her to let go of all hatred, so she'll just find Sheogorath... unfavorable company.

"Yeah, it's a very anticlimactic thing once you're close to it." She laughs softly, shaking her head a little before her fur rises briefly. Minnowripple forces it down, embarassment in her gaze as she cast small glances to the other. "Ahah... I'd... love to settle down. It's hard with a lot of ugly scars, though." She smiles a bit weakly before growig a bit more awkward. "As for kits? I never really planned on them, though I didn't mind the idea of kits." She hoped the past-tense would be enough of a hint, her tail sweeping close to her. Yep, she'd gone ahead and got herself pregnant, but she still had a ways to go before they were born, so she would still work as a warrior.

If you could that would be great, though I can if you get too busy <3

Yeah, that sounds good still! Min could always use some more angst in her life.
(looks at mentor dying upfront of her, sheo attacking her before, unrequited love, her getting upset at her best friend [Quietstar] running away from her home [the only thing she's ever known], her getting kits already from a one night stand [for mass adopts])
    yeaaah... more angst!

A purr rumbled in her chest at this. "You think so? I came up with the ending." It wasn't in the clan traditions to let someone create a suffix for themselves, but she had been a rogue, and she followed the former leader's advice when she was out there, so she assumed that it was fine; StarClan didn't object when Rookpaw became her apprentice, at least."Alrighty, let's get going then.~" With a gentle purr, the she-cat would start to head out, pausing to make sure the other followed.

She was afraid of going to gatherings ever since her initial mentor died- as one could assume, that was on the night of a gathering itself, but it was during a flood season and he had been swept away and crushed by the sudden current. However, she was trying to get over her fear, no matter how many times it took her to muster up the courage to even visit the place. A cold stone of anxiousness dropped in her stomach as she wandered out of the familiar territory of RiverClan, though knowing she would return soon. Yellow eyes scanned the path ahead of her as she followed the path her clanmates had walked many times, tail swaying low to the ground.

After a bit, she finally spotted the fourtrees, picking up the pace and sliding into the clearing with awe, her chin raised to try and pinpoint the very tops of the large structures, temporarily oblivious to the fresh scent of the DarkClanner or his overall presence. "So this was what I missed out on... wow." Minnowripple sounded just shocked, really.

    { Sorry for the lame post, I'm being a bit rushed since I have to go somewhere today }

[center][fancypost= 0px; width: 378px; text-align: justify; font-size: 8.5pt; line-height: 1.4;]@Minnowripple, what does she look like? i'm doodling her and Rook and I want to try to make it accurate? Any refs or bios would be p helpful <3 Like, if she's longhaired or shorthaired or where her markings are and what specific scars she has! ;v

    1. I love you
    2. I should make them a training thread :0
    3. Min is a longhaired gray marble tabby, with white on her underside and around her neck. All of her scars are silvered (except the darker gray one on her cheek that runs from just below her left eye down to her jawline), located on her flanks (long claw marks drawn horizontally,) some punctures on her shoulders and smaller scratches (claws were dug in), and a larger tear on her right front leg where the limb was pulled and at one point broken. Specifically. Her eyes are yellow. (That's as detailled as I can be RIP qvq)

She smiles as Pansypaw mentions having kits, nodding. She'd definitely love to see more children around, anyway. Her ears flicked as she noticed Pansypaw spoke again, smiling at the new joy in the other's hues. "My favorite thing to do as a warrior?" Minnowripple echoed, seeming to pause and mull over the question. "I suppose... I enjoy going out on my own. Usually I just hang out by the river or check the border." She smiles a bit more, gazing at the apprentice again. "What would you want to do when you're a warrior?"

She tenses at this, looking around for a moment before her yellow hues landed on the shape of the tom, who was a bit larger than her. His scent had been muted out a bit by the earthy tones from his resting place, but not enough to completely obscure the smell of DarkClan. Her tail swept a bit behind her, unsure how to progress; she wouldn't be hostile, of course, but she felt uncertainty swim in her chest. He didn't seem like a bad person, at least. "Nope. I had the chance to when I was an apprentice, but then something came up, and I've been too afraid to come here ever since." The she-cat admitted, a soft smile on her maw. "My name's Minnowripple."

She met her eyes calmly, although there was a bit of hesitance in them. A small smile formed after a moment; it was almost thoughtful. "That's good. You should always strive for something more; there's nothing wrong with a little bit of greatness and adventure." Too much, though, and one may miss home; or worse, they might develop some sort of mental illness.

Yellow eyes stared back attentively, smiling softly at the approval before her shoulders hunched and her form would slink into the foliage, surprisingly pretty quiet, with only a few slight brushing against leaves that extended toward her. Eventually, she made it to the nearest tree, lowering into a hunter's crouch. Now she just had to signal Shalas. Minnowripple pondered this for a second before slowly starting to peak up, making sure it wasn't too quick to catch the prey's eyes.
