Her heart skipped a beat as she felt his nose gently press on her forehead, almost feeling at a loss as he turned and head off. Minnowripple would have been patient, quietly asking StarClan what fate she was falling into by getting close to Bramblestorm, her thoughts being interrupted as she smiled back at him. "You're welcome~." With a soft purr and a returned smile of warmth, the tabby grabbed the tails of some fish and got up to follow.

Even still with this distance set between them, Minnowripple felt a small, warm stone settle in her stomach. She hardly felt her hunger as the two of them walked side-by-side, her own tail lowered with the tip curled up, in such a fashion one could easily compare to how a twoleg female would walk with as much grace as she could. Minnowripple's attempt was a bit lamer, however, not quite getting into it as she would much rather wait until she didn't have three fishtails dangling from her lips.
As they arrived at camp, she head for the fresh kill pile and set the prey down, licking her jaws and ignoring any polite stares from their coanmates as her attention immediately shifted back to Bramblestorm. "Thank you for going hunting with me, even if it wasn't all that much." The blue tabby stated with warmth, both trying to cover their tracks of their awkward wakeup call and ease any suspicious rumors.

Tufted ears leaned back in mild embarassment at Teapaw's words, her yellow eyes flittng aside, only to notice Bramblestorm gazing at her. Minnowripple would smile again, turning to face him now as her tail sweeps behind her. As the tom mentioned taking food to the kits, her tail instinctively swept in a rather discreet motion, brushing over her flank before falling again. A purr of joy and amusement escaped her at this. "A family man, are we?~ Well, I think that would be great." A warm smile touched her lips as she glanced at the prey. It would probably be best to give them a bird or the like first, or probably the fish. She didn't know how their preferences for food could be influenced.

Normally she would have refused; many clanmates would probably already suspect something may have happened. However, Minnowripple was still kind of hungry, and she wanted to get to know him better. "I'd love to, Bramblestorm," The she-cat said with warmth, smiling playfully. "That is, if you don't mind. Maybe we could talk about different fighting or hunting moves we want to try."

Minnowripple's blue tabby pelt was especially clean-looking on nice mornings as these. Her fur was lightly specked with spray from the river, which dripped off of her whiskers to signal she'd went down to get a drink not too long ago. Yellow eyes- warm like the sun- turned to gaze at Shalas. If it weren't for the scars marking her form, the smile she showed might have seemed almost pretty. "Goodmorning! Where ya heading?"

{ Hello dankness my old friend
(idk) }She noticed these just as quickly, about to suggest the warm spot before her anxiety acted up on her. One one hand, people would be watching and judging them silently. On the other, everyone would see her with Bramblestorm and think they were a thing- wait, no, why was that a good idea in any way? Fur warm underneath, she would flick her tail toward the spot near the warrior's den. "How about there?"

We could have a thread between them for a sure opinion of you like? -
Hey guys, my posts will be slow because of a few things to come up, sorry </3
-
pfft, me too. I just finished up a new avatar for Minnowripple, lmao. Impossible to find nice pictures of cats with scars that are similar to hers, after all.

Want me to make it?

The blue tabby trailed after him, hearing the same whisper, but not really reading into the context of it. Yellow eyes flicked to the spot his tail swept over, crossing over with neat strides, then turning and laying down on her belly with one of her paws tucked under her, gazing up at him briefly. Sure, it was colder over here, but that's nothing new; soon new leaf would arrive, and there would be less of a need to huddle close.
-
She raised her maw, scenting the air and nodding a bit. "Ah, I see. Mind if I tag along? I can do more than just fish, after all." This was meant both as a partial joke and as a normal statement, a small purr of amusement rising in her throat for a moment before it settled again.
-
She could never get used to silence; at least, not after living as an independent for eight whole moons. Minnowripple's ears twitched, listening to the water in the distance, and the chattering of nearby clanmates. She'd listen to the sweet birdsong that carried through from the forest, and then she'd take a generous bite of the fish, her ears leaning back at a frigid stir of air. The twoleg places sheltered her decently from the wind when she hid in dog dens (houses) and sheds, but she would always prefer RiverClan, especially since she could do this: Minnowripple shuddered lightly, aiming to shift a bit closer to him to fend off the wind. Smooth.
"Just a little longer, and then it'll be green leaf before we know it." The she-cat sighed hopefully, letting off a small smile as she handed him a sideways glance. -
The female would nod at the first question, her haunches gathering as she sat down, front right leg testily pressing against the ground before lifting again. They were so lucky to have Aspenberry around, and she doubted that she'd ever forget what the tabby had done for the clan thus far. "It started up again when I woke up this morning, but it only got worse when I walked," Minnowripple responded, tail tip flicking behind her. "I swam yesterday, but I haven't done so today. I was just about to, but then it hurt and I decided to come back."
