Her leg was really starting to bother her again, the joints that created her elbow would sometimes want to lock up mid-step, and then there was a burning pain as if in the muscle that made it hard for her to walk in general. It had been maybe a day or two since the last time, but it was a good thing she hadn't went swimming as she wanted to, as her leg felt heavy after a second and continued to burn a little. With a grunt, Minnowripple left the patrol she was on to head back to camp with her faint limp, trying to seem like not a whole lot was wrong until slipping inside the medicine cat's den and deciding to wait.

The silver tabby had spent a good amount of her time hunting in preparations for this; during her travels as a rogue, she heard of this holiday the twolegs called "Valentine's day." A few loners and kittypets told her that it was a day where you celebrate your loved ones, so what better way to celebrate than try to feed the whole clan? Of course, she did have trouble catching things in surplus, bringing them back, and hiding them away. Not to mention bringing it all to camp and making sure there was enough for everyone, but she managed. The female let out a purr, stomach lightly swollen, as she rested beside the pile of food as if to protect it. They'd be awake any time now.
{ preggo momfriend for the mass adopts but I thought it would also be a cute edition to the whole thing if it showed.

Yeah, and scarred her up.
Lol, still in class but gonna be a bt before I get home. -
Yellow eyes would turn to gaze at Bramblestorm, a warm smile reflecting on her own maw as her tufted ears raised in an interested gesture. "Thank you, and I did." She seemed a bit proud of herself for a second there, a faint purr rumbling in her throat as she smooths down some fur on her front in mild embarrassment. "I wanted to show how much I appreciated RiverClan and all of its members, so I gathered food for a sort of feast!"

//Catches Brambleton and safely sets in first post.

"Oh, thank StarClan-" Minnowripple let out a breath of relief as he had started moving, although seeing the fear in his eyes made her tufted ears perk in shock. "I'm not here to hurt you; are you alright? Can you stand?" He had to get his fur dried quickly as well before he caught a cold, now that she thought about it. Concern showing more for the tom than his origins, the gray tabby would await a resonse with anxiousness.

EXACTLY
I was going to make it so it didn't rhyme at all like,"Roses are red,
violets are blue,
You're smart, funny, and kind
- and you got me pregnant."
- Love Minnie! -
{ It's okay! xD
Even his first words had made her fur ruffle with mild embarassment, yet shewould just twitch her ears in turn, focused on her task. A while later, as Bra,blestorm approached, she would have caught a total of five minnows- the first one being the largest, the last two being kind of small. Yellow luminaries shifted to the brown tom at this, smiling brightly. "I think pretty well. I worked extra hard, too!" Apparently in a childish mood, she puffed out her chest fur in pride, smiling at him and looking at his catches. "Woah, three? I could hardly catch a bird with a broken wing- amazing work!" Minnowripple purred loudly, trying to get her enthusiasm to rub off on him.

{ On those rare occasions where she's content with everything happening around her, she acts like herself from before she temporarily left- just less socially anxious. So she CAN be cute, it's just not often :d }
That laugh. Oh, StarClan, his laugh; her heart skipped a beat or two, shown by the extra glint in her eye. "Ah, this? It was far harder than you'd think, though I did manage to catch one of them on accident- I went for this guy, and it got scooped up also!" Minnowripple would point a claw at a small fish with a scratch on its side.
She looked up, only to meet his gaze. The childish joy remained, though with it was a small hint of added warmth.

Minnowripple looks over to Shalas, chuckling and soon nodding. Despite the other being younger than her, she certainly was taller. "Go ahead, it's for all of you anyways." It was a slight pain to get all that food what with her apparent predicament, but it was certainly worth it.

let me adopt you dangit
*catches* -
{ weLP, Minnie has to adopt him too now, dang it. Also omg. I would have died. xD }
The sun-drown place- oh. She had heard of rogues speak of the place. Minnowripple nodded to show that she was listening, a frown gracing her dark-lined lips as her yellow hues studied him. Her throat ached at his own tale, moving closer and aiming to gently press her nose on his forehead in a comforting manner. "All of our ancestors watch above us, and I can already tell that if they were here, they would be more than proud of what you have achieved so far, Cobiapaw."
The she-cat would soon nod after a moment. "I think friendships outside of the clan are great as well. Sometimes, it makes it easier to negotiate peace between two groups."

love me
sorrynotsorry -
Thank you! As you can tell, Minnie didn't learn many Valentine's day poems.

A warm smile touched her maw as Aspen approached, tail swaying happily for a moment. "Good evening, Aspen! Sorry if this is a bad time, I was wondering if you could check out my leg for me." If this was Teapaw, she might have stuck it out frivolously and attemtped to make some flirtatious comment, probably; but nope, Minnowripple would just slightly raise her front right limb, the very action making it sore and continue to weigh down on her. "It's aching again, and making me kind of hard to walk."
{ Just noticed that Aspen could probably also tell her she's pregnant, lmao., but I'm not sure if I have it show too much yet. So she could notice some growth if you like. }

I want to be home
but
last year of school anyways

She gazed down at the kills thoughtfully. "Maybe you could hold them by the tails and bring the rodents back to the camp; I could wait here with the fish, and then we can try grabbing them by the hind fins and walk back together." Minnowripple's tail swayed behind her as she wondered about this as well. "Or I could take some fish back to camp and then come back. Or vise versa."
-
The female nodded with a polite smile. Perhaps with a subconscious thought, she stated, "I don't mind waiting for you." Her maw formed another smile- warmer, and more genuine- her haunches gathering as she sat down and curled her somewhat short tail close to her flanks.
