Jasper had been fretting this over for weeks, his every moment stressing over this subject. And she knew! She knew, and he still was worried. It didn't make any sense. He knew this would go well; it wasn't like he thought this would end badly. Still, he couldn't help be be wildly anxious, horrified of the unknown. What if he messed up? What if he lost the necklace? What if, what if, what if?

The agender vampire took in a shaky inhale, no matter how unnecessary that was. If he had a working heart, he was sure it would be beating out of his chest right now. He closed his tawny eyes, taking in careful, calculated breaths as he positioned the items he had brought with him behind him. It was only a matter of time before she appeared.

God, he hoped this went well.

He answered without thinking. He cringed internally; that probably sounded bad, he scolded himself. To be fair, though, everything tasted like dirt to him -- hello, vampire. His head began swimming and he forgot everything. All that matter in that instant was her. Gravity didn't hold him to the earth anymore -- she did. Feeling her cool breath against him, he shuddered; God, he had missed her. It had only been days, but again, that was still too long. If he had his way, he would never be away from her. It killed him not knowing where she was all the time and what she was doing. Not that he didn't trust her or think she could defend herself -- she was his frightening little monster, after all -- but he still worried. He was incredibly protective; he'd lost everything good in his life, and he wasn't about to let her go.

Jasper carefully untangled her arms linked around his neck so he could stare into her eyes. Her eyes, so big and brown and warm. No matter what color they were, he would always be able to recognize her. The glint of enthusiasm she constantly held in her gaze, the way they lit up when she saw him. It made him melt. He blinked a few times, realizing he was lost in thought. He sucked in another unnecessary gulp of air. "I have something for you." He began, picking his words carefully. Without taking his eyes off her, he reached around him and grabbed the pastel scarf, waiting for her response.

At least, the blood wasn't real. He would've been able to tell. And had he smelled real blood, all bets were off. Something inside of him would've snapped, something bigger taking over. His instincts would kick in and he would frenzy. Luckily, though, this had all been a hoax. He padded over, inspecting the scene with an discernible look crossed on his face. "Halloween already?" He asked, however he wasn't trying to be funny or anything. Time passed so quickly for him -- years flew by like days, decades mere weeks. Time was all scrambled to him, and for all he knew, it could very well be Halloween.

As the members of the group seemed to find each other and group together, he smiled lightly to himself.
