[align=center][fancypost bgcolor=;border:0;width:450px;text-align:justify;font-size:11px;line-height:1.5]Mossstep had just finished putting away the chervil she had collected when she heard someone entered. Figuring it was someone with a thorn in their pad, the black and white she-cat padded from the storage room into Curly's view. Her light green eyes widened in surprise, glancing at the dead rabbit and back to the tom. Cats usually didn't bring already dead things into her den."Um..." She tried to decide how she should put her words without sounding shocked. "What can I do for you?"

[align=center][fancypost bgcolor=;border:0;width:450px;text-align:justify;font-size:11px;line-height:1.5]I like Curlyfern and Curlyfur too!

[align=center][fancypost bgcolor=;border:0;width:450px;text-align:justify;font-size:11px;line-height:1.5]Mossstep angrily dug out the chervil roots she was collecting. She was so frustrated, and the cause of it was Moonpaw. And it wasn't just because of what Moonpaw said or did. It was also because Moss was acting childish, and wasn't hearing Moonpaw's side of everything. She was acting like a piece of fox dung, to say the least. However, instead of trying to find the apprentice in question, Moss simply dug harder at the herbs. Stress relief she supposed.

[align=center][fancypost bgcolor=;border:0;width:450px;text-align:justify;font-size:11px;line-height:1.5]if you could that would be awesome!

    [hr]

[align=center][fancypost bgcolor=;border:0;width:450px;text-align:justify;font-size:11px;line-height:1.5]Mossstep's eyes widened further. Nobody really asked her to eat with them. She definitely wouldn't expect it out of one of the newer members. She gave a light smile at him. Now that she looked closer, he was quite handsome. The curly fur was very unique too. "Sure! Thank you for asking. Most of the time I just grab a bite or two in my den while I'm working." She tried to pick up a name from her memory, but came up blank. She really should get better at remembering things. "I'm sorry, but I don't remember your name." She winced a bit before continuing. She was so awkward. Maybe that was why she was practically a hermi. "Ah, that sounded rude. I really would like to remember your name. I'm Mossstep, by the way."

    [hr]

[align=center][fancypost bgcolor=;border:0;width:450px;text-align:justify;font-size:11px;line-height:1.5]Mossstep had been collecting herbs near the Thunderpath when Sparrowpaw approached. "Hey, Sparrowpaw. What are you doing?" She tilted her head to the side as she asked, genuinely curious. Maybe a border or hunting patrol. But it would be a bit odd to do a patrol all by herself. She decided to refrain from jumping to conclusions before Sparrowpaw replied.

    [hr]

[align=center][fancypost bgcolor=;border:0;width:450px;text-align:justify;font-size:11px;line-height:1.5]Mossstep's eyes jerked upwards as she heard the twig snapped. She quickly ran her mind through who it would be, looking around her but spotting no one. The only person who would run from her at this point would be- "Moonpaw, is that you?" She frowned for a moment before sighing. They really needed to talk about what was going on if they were going to get close again. "Can... can we talk?" It would be so awkward if it wasn't Moonpaw. Oh Starclan, what if it was a Bloodclanner or something?

    [hr]

[align=center][fancypost bgcolor=;border:0;width:450px;text-align:justify;font-size:11px;line-height:1.5]Mossstep smiled brightly at the called names. They all really deserved the shoutout. She noticed Curly and Moonpaw beside her, and leaned over before talking in a hushed whisper. "Congratulations!" She felt her gaze linger over Curly for a second too long and felt warmth spreading through her cheeks as she listened to the rest of what Daisystar had to say. She was a medicine cat! She shouldn't have crushes or anything of the sort. She scolded herself while focusing on Daisystar calling Sparrowpaw forward. She'd forgotten the apprentice was receiving her warrior name today.

    [hr]

[align=center][fancypost bgcolor=;border:0;width:450px;text-align:justify;font-size:11px;line-height:1.5]Mossstep was a bit surprised at Sparrowpaw's respectful tone. Normally the apprentice had a sarcastic or sassy comment ready to be whipped out at any moment. However, Moss cherished the moment and smiled after Sparrowpaw finished talking. "I could tag along if you want. I don't have anything urgent I need to do." She always enjoyed helping her clanmates, even if it was with warrior tasks. It made her reminisce back to when she was a warrior and wasn't as stressed worrying about how the lives of her clanmates were on her shoulders.

    [hr]

[align=center][fancypost bgcolor=;border:0;width:450px;text-align:justify;font-size:11px;line-height:1.5]Mossstep nodded before responding. "Alright. Lead the way, future warrior!" She smiled at the apprentice. However, it faltered a bit when she noticed her odd behavior. Maybe something had happened with her? She decided to ask. "Is something wrong? If you ever need to talk, I'm always here." She gave a reassuring smile before looking off in the direction they'd be heading.

    [hr]

[align=center][fancypost bgcolor=;border:0;width:450px;text-align:justify;font-size:11px;line-height:1.5]Mossstep gave a light sigh at Moonpaw as the apprentice appeared, albeit reluctantly. She didn't mean for this to happen. She didn't want this huge tear in their relationship. She in no way hated Moonpaw, not now and not then. She was just disappointed. She really shouldn't have been considering she was neither Moonpaw's mentor or her mother, but she still had a deep connection with her. "I know you probably don't want to talk to me. You probably hate me. But I just wanted to tell you that I still care for you even after everything. I'm just..." She looked away for a moment, out into the trees and away from the awkward situation that was currently eating away at her. "I was just disappointed in the actions you took. I want you to be the best cat you can be, and I wasn't seeing that at the time. I let my emotions get the best of me and I took it out on you when I should have kept it to myself. If not as your friend, then as your medicine cat, I apologize for my thoughtless words and hope that I can be forgiven." She dipped her head in respect. Respect that everyone in her clan deserved.

    [hr]

[align=center][fancypost bgcolor=;border:0;width:450px;text-align:justify;font-size:11px;line-height:1.5]Mossstep's face scrunched up as she let out a breathy laugh. She felt her muscles relax a bit. This Curly wasn't bad at all. He hadn't even commented on her weird way with words. "Actually, I wasn't named Moss because of the color of my eyes. It was because it was the first things my parents saw when I was born. They couldn't think of anything better." She smiled before turning to pad out of the den. "You coming? I don't know about you, but this place makes me claustrophobic after being here for so long. I think the walls might be starting to close in."

    [hr]

[align=center][fancypost bgcolor=;border:0;width:450px;text-align:justify;font-size:11px;line-height:1.5]Mossstep brushed against the side of a tree absently while observing Sparrowpaw carefully. "Are you sure? Because you're favoring your crippled leg and you look like your hurting. Do you mind if I take a look at it? It would only be a second or two and then we can continue the patrol." She wanted to help in some way. She didn't want Sparrowpaw to feel burdened by her duties. She wanted the apprentice to enjoy them.
