[align=center][fancypost bgcolor=;border:0;width:450px;text-align:justify;font-size:11px;line-height:1.5]"Nice catch. You'll make a fine warrior." Mossstep commented as she walked up. Not many of her clanmated liked mornings as much as she did, so it was certainly a pleasant surprise to find Quailpaw hunting so early. She didn't know what made Quailpaw get up, but for her it was the strong and fresh smell of pine and the sounds of the forest waking up. It was always lovely to feel the coolness of dewdrops soak into her pelt after the sun had seeped into it, making it unbearably hot. Her light green orbs turned towards the young tom as she waited for a response.

[align=center][fancypost bgcolor=;border:0;width:450px;text-align:justify;font-size:11px;line-height:1.5]If you could! I'm mobile right now rip

[align=center][fancypost bgcolor=;border:0;width:450px;text-align:justify;font-size:11px;line-height:1.5]She thought about it for a moment. What she had intended to do was look for some thyme since she was running low. However, she got distracted by her usual appreciation for beauty and had spent her time just walking through the forest instead. She flicked an ear as she smiled. "Just out for a walk, I guess." It was enough of the truth to keep her from seeming like the procrastinator she was.

    [hr]

[align=center][fancypost bgcolor=;border:0;width:450px;text-align:justify;font-size:11px;line-height:1.5]Mossstep had been out of camp as well when she noticed the tom. Seeing him looking up made her do the same thing instinctively, but only to be blinded by the bright light of the sun. Mistake! Mistake! She screamed in her head as she looked away and tried to make eye contact with Cedarscar. "What are you up to?" was her greeting as she took a seat beside him. She shook her head lightly as well, hoping for her eyes to clear up a bit. It would be funny if she ended up going blind. A blind medicine cat. How cliche.

    [hr]

[align=center][fancypost bgcolor=;border:0;width:450px;text-align:justify;font-size:11px;line-height:1.5]The she-cat nodded at his request. It was easy for her to seclude herself from her clanmates. Just go out for herbs and stay in the medicine den all day and it was easy to forget how to do normal social interactions. "I'd like that. It's always better to enjoy things with someone else. At least that's what I think."

    [hr]

[align=center][fancypost bgcolor=;border:0;width:450px;text-align:justify;font-size:11px;line-height:1.5]"Thank you. It means a lot." Mossstep almost said more, but stopped for a moment. She wondered if that's what he really thought. She knew there would be some cats that thought of her position only being given to her by her sister, which was definitely a valid argument. Honestly, she wondered if her sister chose her because of their relations. "To tell you the truth, I'm afraid of being in such a position. I mean, I wasn't directly contacted by Starclan and I might..." She stopped, collecting herself as she continued in a much quieter voice, barely a whisper. "What if someone dies because I wasn't good enough?" She knew she must be overreacting and that Cedarscar might not want to hear her pour her heart out, but something about letting the floodgates open brought her a sense of comfort. Even with the thought that the listener might not want to listen at all.

    [hr]

[align=center][fancypost bgcolor=;border:0;width:450px;text-align:justify;font-size:11px;line-height:1.5]Mossstep noticed the slight tension between Crowshade and Dahliathorn. Oh no. I don't want anyone to fight! She kneaded her forepaws into the ground nervously as she listened to the conversation. However, she didn't say anything, not really wanting to trigger a confrontation or other unpleasant situation.

    [hr]

[align=center][fancypost bgcolor=;border:0;width:450px;text-align:justify;font-size:11px;line-height:1.5]Mossstep noticed her sister's limp form from across camp and had come over to investigate. However, once the she-cat noticed that Daisystar was asleep she started chuckling. Picking up the half-eaten prey, she placed it off to the side and sat down beside her. She knew the task of leader must be stressful for her, especially after having no one to show her what to do. Moss placed a paw on her sister's shoulder and shook it lightly. "Go to your den and rest. You won't be doing any good if you look like you rose from the dead and act like it too." She laughed softly, hoping to get a smile out of Daisystar.

    [hr]

[align=center][fancypost bgcolor=;border:0;width:450px;text-align:justify;font-size:11px;line-height:1.5]Mossstep let out a breath she didn't know she was holding in. "Thanks. I'm sorry if I made you uncomfortable. I don't usually say stuff like that." That much was true. It was hard for her to share her problems with other people. It made her feel bad, especially when people probably had their own problems to deal with without worrying about hers.

[align=center][fancypost bgcolor=;border:0;width:450px;text-align:justify;font-size:11px;line-height:1.5]same with moss hehe she's gonna get sneaky (:<

    [hr]

[align=center][fancypost bgcolor=;border:0;width:450px;text-align:justify;font-size:11px;line-height:1.5]Mossstep was a bit surprised by the question. Not many cats invited her out hunting or patroling anymore, what with her new title as a medicine cat. However, in truth the she-cat had always loved hunting and jumped on the oppurtunity she was given. "Yeah, I'll go hunting with you." She rose to her paws and gave her bicolored pelt a shake to loosen herself up a bit. However, the she-cat turned and gave Cedarscar a smile, coming to a sudden realization. "You've been more of a help than you give yourself credit for."

    [hr]

[align=center][fancypost bgcolor=;border:0;width:450px;text-align:justify;font-size:11px;line-height:1.5]I ship all of the ships. LET THEM SAIL!!!

    [hr]

[align=center][fancypost bgcolor=;border:0;width:450px;text-align:justify;font-size:11px;line-height:1.5]Mossstep started walking at the same time she began speaking. "How's life for you here in the clan?" It was a very unspecific question, but one that cats could manipulate to say what they wanted to and not what they had to. Mossstep certainly wasn't one to press clanmates on personal matters, and this time wasn't any different.

    [hr]

[align=center][fancypost bgcolor=;border:0;width:450px;text-align:justify;font-size:11px;line-height:1.5]Mossstep felt a slight twinge of guilt at the mention of how busy Winterpaw was. Am I pushing her too hard? The apprentice was so enthusiastic that Moss didn't think twice of assigning her work. Maybe she should lessen the load, let the poor kid have some more free time. "It's going well. I haven't been as busy with my medicine cat duties recently, which is always a good thing. The Bloodclan attacks seemed to have paused for a little while." The she-cat flinched as a rabbit scuttled across their view and off into the trees. Imagine if that had actually been a Bloodclan warrior."I've also been getting to know everyone a bit better, which makes me feel better being a part of the clan as a whole. Winterpaw is extremely enthusiastic about working with herbs, so training her as been much more of a privilege than a duty."

    [hr]

[align=center][fancypost bgcolor=;border:0;width:450px;text-align:justify;font-size:11px;line-height:1.5]Mossstep nodded over at Cedarscar even though he seemed engrossed in observing the rock formation. To each their own. She didn't judge the tom or think of it as out of the ordinary. The considered herself curious as well. It was then she heard her sister greet her, and turned a smile to the cat in question. "Hey Daisystar. What brings you out and about on this fine day?" The she-cat gave a small, breathy laugh at her words before sprawling out on the rock and basking in the sun.

    [hr]

[align=center][fancypost bgcolor=;border:0;width:450px;text-align:justify;font-size:11px;line-height:1.5]"Agreed. I just hope that the other clans find their leaders and medicine cats soon. We need to act on Bloodclan before anything else happens." It was at this time that Mossstep almost tripped over a rock. Her paw slid over the slick surface and she stumbled before regaining her balance, muttering lighthearted curses to herself and her clumsiness.

    [hr]

    [align=center][fancypost bgcolor=;border:0;width:450px;text-align:justify;font-size:11px;line-height:1.5]welcome to Shadowclan! :)

And I won't be active for the next three days since I'm on a retreat. I'll try to get on at night but I can't promise anything. Good morning/afternoon/night everyone!

    [hr]

[align=center][fancypost bgcolor=;border:0;width:450px;text-align:justify;font-size:11px;line-height:1.5]"I don't know how good of an idea it would be to try and get her to sleep in this state. I'll get some thyme to clear her head though. I want to be able to see the effects the herbs are having on her condition." The she-cat disappeared into her medicine den and returned with the herb. Approaching Bluefeather quietly, she held it out to her. "Please eat this. It'll make you feel better."

    [hr]

[align=center][fancypost bgcolor=;border:0;width:450px;text-align:justify;font-size:11px;line-height:1.5]The she-cat laughed at herself before answering the apprentice. "Yeah, I'm fine. If it happens again, don't worry about it. I usually trip around five times a day, like clockwork. It's probably the reason why I was so horrible at combat." It was true. Her lack of coordination hadn't been a hinderance, but it had been an annoyance. Want to get to the herb stores without tripping? Guess what, she couldn't without spilling all of her marigold everywhere.

    [hr]

[align=center][fancypost bgcolor=;border:0;width:450px;text-align:justify;font-size:11px;line-height:1.5]Hey, I just wanted to let you all know that I will be inactive for the next two days due to a retreat I'm on. It's not a very long time but I thought I'd let everyone know why I won't be responding to anything while I'm away (: have a great couple days free of me and a certain bubbly medicine cat ^^
