[fancypost bgcolor=; bordercolor=; borderwidth=0px; width: 400px;][justify][size=8]she'd never seen an aztec city before.
why her friend had decided to take refuge here instead of the more appropriate flower garden or village, chelan would perhaps never know - then again, unfamiliarity had always failed to faze yosafire from the looks of it. oh no, the other practically embraced the toils hardship, even when the effects of it would be ... less than desirable. cheerfulness was paramount, after all. chelan, on the other hand ...
she wouldn't call herself fearful or easily frightened, oh no, but she wasn't particularly brave or 'out there' either - shy, someone some time ago was the word she was looking for, but chelan had long since decided that was wrong as well. rational - yes, that's what dialo had decided to call it from what she remembered. chelan like to think that rationality was one of the bigger gifts that dialo had left behind after her departure. but, ah, there was no need to worry about the angel - her little demon friend would be back into the picture, she hoped. she'd be back into the picture soon, chelan hoped harder. for now, she'd just have to deal with it, and go on with life as she knew it. that shouldn't be too hard, right?
she supposed she could start right now then, yes?
there she was on the border now, the very air of quiet and serenity - chelan had pulled herself away into a tiny ball of yellow fluff for the moment, having began to hum some nameless little tune. a small bunch of multicolored daisies littered the area around her feet. they were meant to be a gift for yosafire, but she'd kinda, probably, maybe taken the petals off of one? or was currently still doing it at least.
today was going to be a great, great day. she willed it, and it would be so.
