She was hot.

Not aesthetically or appearance-wise specifically(at least this time), she literally felt like she was going to spontaneously combust. Usually when she said she was hot, it was to seduce someone, but right now, it was most definitely not. Pepper sighed. Despite the fact that she was going to die of heat stroke, she wasn't rude and didn't want to just go barging into someone's home so she could get some water, and y'know, not die. At this point, she didn't care whether she died or not, because her train of thought had quickly moved to something new- a beautiful, colourful city. It was gorgeous, mesmerizing, something only spoken of in fairy tales and sappy romance movies.

The tall white feline blinked her deep amber eyes, looking at her surroundings in awe. Nevermind how she'd even got in here, everything was so beautiful! Maybe she was dreaming? Or maybe she'd died of heat stroke like she said she would and went to heaven. Was this heaven? Where the fuck were the angels. Oh god, what about Salt? Did she leave Salt all alone on earth? She stepped back, letting out a groan. "No! Now she's gonna get all the hot pieces of ass and I'll get none!" She cried aloud, not realizing that she was yelling until the words were already spoken. Ah, well. If she was dead, it didn't matter, right?[/size]

And along came Salt. Pepper's eyes widened. "Holy shit, Salt, you're dead too?" She asked, although her words sounded more like a statement than a question. It didn't take long for their loud conversation to attract more ColouredClanners, who she frowned at. Were these the angels and the ghosts that'd come to greet her? The tall white she-cat barely listened to anything her best friend said, seeing as Salt tended to ramble on a lot about useless things sometimes. She listened to the conversation, being silent for the most part.

They welcomed her, and she still wasn't completely sure where she was. "Okay, well, I guess since I'm dead and we're all gonna be roomies now, I should introduce myself, despite the fact that Salt just said my name," She shot a playful glare at the dark feline. "I'm Pepper. If any of you calls me Pep-pep, I'll cut you." Soon enough, Monster Kid's question reached her ears, and she frowned, turning to him. "Well, you see, Mk, I thought that since I was dead, that meant I wasn't going to get any. But apparently, there's other dead people too, so I'll definitely be getting some." She explained, offering a smug wink. What a great thing to teach children, Pepper.[/size]

Pepper was bored, and now that she didn't think she was dead anymore, and had gotten something to drink, she didn't really have anything to do. She didn't want to bug random strangers, and she also fist really feel like doing any of that stupid warrior bullshit. So, she decided on the most logical solution to her boredom. Annoying Salt, of course! "Salt! Salt, we should do something!!" She called, in the whiniest voice she could muster.[/size]

A small smile adorned Pepper's features when Salt arrived to greet her, and she flicked an ear at her best friend. "Glad you came," She grinned, tail held high in the air. Her friendly grin shifted to a wicked one when the feline opposite her spoke about not jumping off the cliff. "Oh my god, is... This is unbelievable! Everyone, I think Salt is scared," She said in a teasing and playful tone, despite the fact that she was probably a little scared of jumping off a cliff too. Stupid Pepper and her double standards.[/size]

The girl was pretty convinced that everyone thought she was some weirdo who just watched everyone from the sidelines, so she decided to try and hold one of those weird 'meet and greet' things everyone was talking about. She'd been a kittypet for a while, and a stray for most of her life, so she'd never adapted to the clans' way of thinking.

Which was when she became a loner, and she lived as one until she came to ColouredClan. What a great life she'd had.
