[fancypost borderwidth=0px; width: 400px][justify]He wasn't really looking for anything in particular and because of that, he wasn't really headed in any one specific direction - more just wandering around and seeing where his paws would take him. He was still quite small - though had already outgrown all of the cats in his clan, towering just a little over them all. It was good that there were more wild cats and big cats in ShadowClan because he hated feeling so left out and bigger than everyone else. Honestly, if he could just blend in and not be seen, that would be perfectly fine by him. But as he got closer and closer to the RiverClan border, he felt weird in this territory. He felt too big and he was crunching things and breaking twigs and feeling the damp soil underneath his toes was a foreign feeling for the lion.

When Reese reached the RiverClan border, he took a seat, not waiting on anyone and definitely not wanting anyone to come and see him. He was honestly just looking, seeing the difference in this territory compared to ShadowClan's.

[fancypost borderwidth=0px; width: 400px][justify]The two rounded ears atop his head flicked in the direction that he started to hear pawsteps. A RiverClanner. That was his cue. He was about to take off when he took a closer listen and look and realized that this was a kid approaching him - no one that would be a threat. Unless, of course, she went and tattled on him. That would be interesting. But, despite his better judgement, Reese stayed put and watched her pad up to him with caution.

He had to smirk a little bit as he watched the horrified look unfold on her face. If she only knew - he was no threat at all. Well, that was kind of a lie. He would be a threat if he had to be. He could get the job done and she would be dead in a matter of seconds if that was his job - to execute her. But lucky for the young female standing in front of him - she was safe from any harm from him. Which was good for the lion, too, because he absolutely hated killing or hurting someone else unless he had to.

Reese cleared his throat and dipped his head, trying to offer some respect to the girl. The lion cub slid down onto his stomach so he would be closer to her height and possibly get her to see that he was no threat to her. "Hello." His voice was dip and rich and proper and it complimented the sound of her voice. He kind of liked the way it sounded. "I'm Reese Muzikant. And you are?"

[fancypost borderwidth=0px; width: 400px][justify]Hearing her name made his breath catch in his throat and his eyes widen slightly. "Well, Brooklynpaw, it is very nice to meet you. You have a beautiful name." It fit her - she was quite beautiful as well, with an innocence surrounding her. Seeing this naive, beautiful girl in front of him, gave Reese an urge to protect her. It was a need, actually. He knew that this day forward, he would never let anything happen to her. He would always take care of her - even if she didn't know that he was there, helping. It wasn't as if he wanted anything out of it, either. It was just the way he was. He just always needed to help and to protect and she was his latest obsession. A need to keep her out of harm's way.

Reese cleared his throat and shook his head, as if ridding himself of that thought for a moment. Hearing her question, he glanced down, his hazel gaze meeting her yellow one. "I'm just wandering, you know? It's just been one of those days. What are you doing?"
