"That's good to hear." she murmured, shooting her a glance that said, Don't call me by my warrior name in front of Adderpaw or he's gonna be the one to throw a fit.

She was going to ask for pardon, like she had with the other Clans. Of course, she didn't go to BloodClan--just the other Clans. The only Clan that didn't give her pardon was ShadowClan, which was understandable, but also unreasonable to the white feline. But then again, it was expected.


    She stood in the clearing, since Adderstar would slay her if she stood on the Highrock--besides, she was no leader, no Butterflystar; she knew better. "ThunderClan, if you could gather please! I have a...rather personal announcement I'd like to make." she called out, her heart beating in her chest. Secretly, she was expecting Adderstar to not give her pardon--"You have not proved yourself to be worthy of defying your actions, Butterflypaw, and until you do, I will not give pardon", she expected the leader to say--but she had to try. She had to try!

    She would eagerly wait for someone to arrive before speaking her name and business and all of that.

    She would pause at the border, looking around for any sign of life.

    She sighed. There were...a lot of cats. Oh boy. "I would...I would like to ask for pardon from my past actions.


    "While I have not done...enough to deserve respect and such, I know now that killing is not the answer. Violence is not the answer. What is the answer is kindness, respect, and care. I vow, upon the will of StarClan to not harm a single hair on a cat unless if told to." She sighed. "I'd like to extend an apology to not just those I've hurt, but the whole of ThunderClan. I am doing this to lift the heavy burdens that have been weighing on my shoulders since I was granted acceptance and move on to do what is best for ThunderClan, and for myself." Her gaze was solemn as she looked at the crowd. Her words probably meant nothing, but still, she just had to try and do something.

Makes you wish I was still around. Well, don't come to ThunderClan whining for me, because I'm not coming back. Not with selfish rude foxhearts."

    She then looked at Applepaw. "I know. He offered to try and get Whitekit and Mallowkit back and failed. Well, maybe they'll be just a little happy to see their mom. Or not."

She nodded to Daisystem, then took a few paces forward. In front of her was a bush lightly dusted with snow, and through the part in the middle she could see the squirrel, desperately trying to find nuts to store for winter. It seemed it had already started gearing up; it was fatter than the mouse from eating all those nuts. It was surprising; Butter had expected to find skimpy prey.


    She backed up a few paces. Slowly, she lowered herself to the ground and crept forward, eyeing the squirrel with intent. Then, she leaped. She nearly missed it, but her teeth caught the squirrel's fluffy tail. Grabbing it in her paws, she gave the killing bite and panted once she set it down. "I really thought I was gonna miss that one!" she breathed.

    But what the other fem said next shocked her.


    That was the call for her to be...a warrior. She didn't know a simple apology had to be given to be made a warrior again. None of the other Clans had said, "You're a brave warrior to be doing this."


    Finally, she wouldn't be known as a humiliating apprentice anymore. "I do." she said firmly, her gaze shifting to Adderstar.

They are my kits, they came out of my belly. Enough said." And with that, she turned and began to pad off. "And do not think I am even going to ask why I am asking for pardon if all your leader focuses on is the kits, the kits, the kits."

I was led blindly by a Dark Forest warrior, and my real self would never...ever do what I have done." she explained, keeping her gaze steady.

If you don't have someone with herbal knowledge who could fill as a stand-in...well then, you're out of luck." She shook her head. Secretly, now she wished she would never have gotten exiled.
