Rose watched the little girl closely, fighting back tears in her eyes as she held her hand tightly in her own. She let out a shaky breath and looked over at Atlas,
“Are you okay?”
She asked in almost a whisper as she tried to look at him in the eyes. She could tell he was hurting, in more ways than just one
Rose frowned and looked down,
“Another?”
She questioned softly before she stood up and went to the side of the bed he sat on and hugged him,
“The poeple you loose never truly leave. The are in a world where suffering and pain no longer exist. It hurts that you can’t see them but they are always with you through your good and bad times... Sarah will be okay... you just need stay strong...”
she told him softly as she hugged him tighter. She usually wasn’t good with this type of stuff but her dad use to tell her a story about when the dead leave they are never truly leave your side...
Rose smiled and looked down at Sarah,
“Told you everything would be okay”
She whispered as she kissed the child’s forehead and then looked at Atlas,
“If you loose hope so do they, you helped her through this Atlas. You can finally breath” she told him with a wide smile before she existed the room and headed down stairs
Katie’s smiled slightly grew as Ivory talked,
“You’ve been here a while. I think we’ve talked in the past maybe a few time but never held a conversation”
Katie told her with a slight chuckle at the end,
“Your really pretty by the way”
She added as a compliment as she observed the girl. She really was, she wore a cute outfit and everything, plus she was smart? She didn’t understand why this girl stayed so quiet!
Coal and the guys back there suddenly let out a really loud laught before they quieted down again and continued they’re conversation. Coal stood up and walked over to the girl and sat beside them,
“Hey so are y’all coming to the party”
He questioned both girls quietly as he looked at Ivory with a particular fondness
Rose smiled slightly and followed him,
“Mind if I join you on that”
She asked softly. She has drank before, never to much to actually get drunk but enough for a buzz when she was out with friends a few time
She looked through the cabinet before grabbing a bottle of vodka from the middle shelf,
“Have any soda?”
She asked softly as she poured some in the glass and then walked over to the fridge and found a case of Dr. Pepper. She grabbed a can or two and made her drink complete before looking up at him with a smile
She took a drink and sat down on the counter near him and shrugged, “I don’t know... he deserves everything you’ve done to him and more... what do you think. If you where in my situation”
She asked him with as much seriousness as she could,
“He’s been involved in my life since we were maybe 5 or 6. But he’s changed and not for the better...” she let out a sigh,
“I can do better than him but I don’t want to give him the satisfaction that he tore me down in the end...”
She explained as she looked at him with exhaustion on the subject,
“It’s up to you, at this point if I let him back into my life I’ll end up nothing more than a beaten down girl that wishes she would’ve escaped years ago”
Rose has been hurt by him since she turned maybe 15 or 16 years old, she couldn’t take anymore from him
Rose finished off her first glass and made herself some more,
“You say you don’t love but you love your sister. And you feel something toward me if you where willing to do all that you did”
She corrected him as she took another sip from her freshly made drink, a small smile on her face as she stared at him
She nodded in understanding as she took steady sips from her drink and hoped off the counter,
“Wanna play the Xbox?”
She questioned as she playfully walked out of the room and to the living room and the huge tv and consoul took their place
Rose our in Call of Duty and sat close beside him,
“Do you want me to get you some more?”
She questioned at his glass as she looked at him deeply,
“I don’t mind”
She added before looking at the screen to log both of them in. She didn’t ignore his comment she simply didn’t know how to respond without it sound off, or at least off to her.
Katie glared at coal and shrugged,
“Maybe but I won’t be going with you or anywhere near you. You’ve already given me a headache today”
She growled at him before suddenly the bell rang. She stood up and waved Ivory goodbye,
“I’ll see you next period Ivory, bye bye”
She quickly left to get away from coal and met up with her usual people outside of class.
Coal stood up and rubbed the back of his neck slightly as he looked at Ivory,
“Uh well I’ll give you ride if you need one, here”
He handed her a paper that had is name and number on it,
“If you ever need me I’m just a text away... pretty name by the way”
He smiled at her before catching up with his guys friend that had already left the class room
She smiled at him before she walked into the kitchen and made herself one more glass and him a new one as well,
“Atlas...”
She spoke softly as she walked back into the room,
“Why do you like me”
She questioned as she sat down beside him and handed him his glass,
“Or love? Why are you attached to me?”
She questioned, confused on the word she should use for the conversation before grabbing her controller
She listened closely and laughed at the end before she started the game up,
“Sounds good to me!”
They played for about an hour or two before she had maybe had one to many.
Rose laid on the couch humming softly as her arm lay across her face,
“I think I’m good on drinking for a while”
She laughed as she set her glass on the floor as carfully as she could
Katie stopped her conversation and looked over at the new character and smiled softly,
“Hey I saw you earlier today, uh Lucas right? What’s up?”
She was gentle with the conversation as she stepped alittle closer to him so she could her him alittle bit better
Coal walked down the hall with the guys, them teasing him about him giving his number to that girl,
“Shut up, she’s cute. So why not, at least I can get a girl”
He hissed at his friend before going into his next class and taking his seat in the back
“What you’ve kill me like, a million times” she teased before sitting up and looking at him. Her gaze was gentle and sleepy but she wasn’t ready for bed,
“So what now? We can do something else”
Her words slurred slightly as she stood up and stretched.

Just a curious question, okay so with the romance in the rp say it goes further and etc. do you wanna do fade to black on stuff like that or move to the pms and then back here when it’s over and etc? I’m okay with either so ya up to you :)
Katie looked at him and smiled sweatily,
“Oh do you need a ride? I don’t mind giving you one”
She offered with a smile before writing her number down,
“Here, I’ll drive you. Just message me whenever your ready okay?”
She patted his should and they ran off to class.
Coal sat at the back and shut his eyes slightly,
“Maybe this year wont be so bad”
He smiled slightly and looked down at his phone, waiting
Rose laughed alittle bit before sitting down in his lap and cuddling close,
“Your warm Atlas...”
She whispered as she leaned her head in his neck and yawned slightly
Alrighty, we can go to pm whenever
Katie went off to class and took her place at the front where she excitedly talked to her friends and made simply contact with the teacher.
Coal grinned as he saw what appeared on his phone,
-“hey what’s up”
He messaged back as he stared at the front of the room it looked like he was paying attention
Katie then left her class room and began to run around school, gathering first day photos for the year book, going class to class and getting group photos. Finally she made it to Lucas’ class and poked her head inside with the camera,
“Smile!”
She called out to everyone as they all looked at her. Some of the students did poses, some hid their face, other smiled big for the camera.
Coal looked at the time and then back at his phone,
-“Hey whenever lunch comes around wanna go to kfc or something? I’ll but”
He sent back before setting his phone in his lap, he hoped he wasn’t seeming pushy but he wanted to make sure nobody else got to her before he could
