Mysterysong was standing on a rock overlooking a mossy clearing. Her wings twitched, as if they couldn't wait to fly. It seemed now her leg was healed, the rest of her followed suit. The only signs of her encounter in the Loner Lands were two short patches of fur and a lighter coloured area of feathers.

So, my idea would be Maykit would find a necklace, think it was nice and wear it. It would actually be an unlucky charm and it would lead her into various unfortunate events. Eventually, one of these would lead her somewhere where your character would capture her, then torture her but not kill her. Permanent injuries would have to be discussed. WARNING! This may result in your character being injured by Colouredclanners if they come to rescue Maykit.

Maykit had found a large, dusty, one-roomed building on the edge of the village. Inside it were a multitude of Twoleg things, cleared out from the houses in the village and dumped here. It was mostly technology, but there were a few crates full of clothes, labeled "tops","trousers","underwear(DO NOT TOUCH)" and "other stuff". The kitten dove into the Other Stuff box and started rummaging. Hat, no. Gloves, no. Ooh, a scarf! It had little balls of fluff on the edges and it was pale pink. Maykit wrapped it round her neck and consulted the mirror on the other end of the garage. Wow, that kitten has style! Turning back to the crate, she saw four fabric tubes, all white and pink, stripy and with frilly ends. Those go with the scarf... Maykit slipped the leg warmers on with the frills at the top, near her belly fur. That feels nice! Quickly stashing a bag behind the mirror for trying on later, the young femme skipped out of the building and called "I found some cool stuff in this place, if anyone wants any!"

Maykit felt Curtainpaw around her, felt equal measures of fear from everyone. She heard Yuri dragging Blackpaw out of the bear trap, smelled blood again, tried so hard not to imagine what it looked like...but somehow managed to keep vaguely composed. He was going to be buried, and somehow, someone would make all the blood disappear. One day, Maykit would be helping to stop this stuff from happening, healing those weaker than herself, bring down the death toll. The little kitten stayed behind the daffodils, but her tail moved, trying to comfort Curtainpaw as well.
